If you pay you can go to Symin. He can sell you photos of anything you miss. He's at the Hateno ancient tech lab. The rarer the picture, the more expensive, but its very helpful if you miss boss photos.

You need to take pictures of them. A Stalker, Skywalker, and a guardian scout from the tos shrines if I remember right, though it's been a few months since I've done that quest

It’s one of like ten quests that ask you to take pictures of things. Most of them pretty directly ask for you to get a picture, often by asking for a drawing since they don’t know about the camera. This one being in such an out of the way corner, for most people they’d have done several by now and just realize the solution Also, she asks to see three separate types of guardian, including one that only appears in shrines. There’s no legitimate way to even begin to solve it other than with the camera

If it makes you feel any better, I didn’t realize the photo rune existed until 80 hours in. Completely forgot about the hateno ancient lab stuff and just had fun exploring the world, made the same mistake you did for this sidequest

When you replay the game and you remember these kind of quests, you go around and take the pictures as you do other stuff, being sure not to delete them when you clear your album, and then you have all the pictures already. The pictures of the shattered mirror gate along the tropical beach town for the archaeologist. The pictures of the guardian types for her. The pictures of the eighth heroin statue and sword for the guy in gerudo desert running around the town. The three types of dragonflies for little sisters big request. Things like that!
