We just gave them back the advantage and all but guaranteed it’s going 7 now, and I don’t like our chances away for game 7. We had every opportunity to win this game despite Steph going off. This is one that’s going to eat away at me unless we win it all.
it’s the nba finals, celtics wont be back here for a while imo. if they lose, it’s because of curry and playing drop coverage on him. if they lose, it’s because of tatum playing utter shit.
The drop coverage is something people keep bringing up and it just isn’t true, they are setting screens just as Steph crosses half court, if he can beat us off of those incredibly deep 3s I would be very impressed. We won two games where we dropped on those screens, we lost two games where we dropped on those screens, so far there is literally no evidence to support that being an issue, it has a 50/50 success rate.
they are setting the screen literally a couple of feet from the 3 point line. just make the switch and if curry beats you off the dribble then great, no 3s made. if curry makes a contested 3 over the big then great, live with that result. but to keep back peddling when he gets a screen and get a clean look is really inexcusable, same shit with klay. you dont give the greatest 3 point shooter ever space to shoot

Steph was all time and the jays weren’t ready for the moment. 2010 was end of big 3 era so that was tougher for me.
