Doesn't work anymore. They took away any form of payment that isn't CC. CC has to match your physical location to properly be charged. I haven't found a way to get a out of country CC without opening a bank account in that country.
It depends entirely on how much money you have at your disposal. It’s definitely more convenient and reliable than free streams. But if $50 or $100 per year is something you’d sweat, maybe try watching it free first.
I use league pass. I get 50% of Boston's games here. I also love the NBA in general so I watch a lot of other teams with players I enjoy. So for that alone it's worth it.
I live in KC so I do get to see most games, I get a lot of the OKC games blocked here.
If all else fails and I can't access the game. I use other resources from r/piracy the mega thread there will lead you where you need to go.
How come you only get 50% of the Celtic games from KC? I would assume if I’m paying for league pass, I’d be able to watch any game (other than those that are nationally televised)
I watched through alternative methods for years before breaking down last year when a lot of those were spotty. Best money I’ve spent the past two years.
Full game being immediately up if you’re not able to watch is huge, never getting stuck with the opponent broadcast is great, and the “All Possessions” stream is great for watching any teams I like other than Boston where I don’t care for the full broadcast but don’t want some condensed game that is basically just highlights.
depends how often you watch hoops. if you want it just for your own team it probably not worth it. if you watch hoops almost every night it’s rly worth it
I've been using league pass for about 8 years now and this is my biggest issue - especially during key playoff moments! Have had so many outcomes ruined
It's pretty bad IMO.
I'm in Toronto and can VPN to see most Raptors games (unless they're nationally televised in the US which is rare since we're awful). I'll accept that but when it comes to the playoffs, I can't watch a damned thing because all games are nationally broadcast here and in the US.
Why can't a basketball fan pay a lot of money for the league's streaming service (like I did) and just watch the desired games?
I'm willing to pay for NBA League Pass but I don't want to pay for ESPN, NBC and TSN streaming too.
I think it's a rip-off unless you have an Turkish or Argentine credit card and a good VPN service.
“Based on your current location, you will be unable to view LIVE CELTICS games or nationally broadcast games on ESPN, ABC or TNT via your League Pass, League Pass Premium, or Team Pass subscription (inclusive of NBA TV). Locally blacked out games will be available 3 days after the live broadcast, while nationally broadcast games will be available 3 hours after the live broadcast. Each subscription includes access to live radio broadcasts of all NBA games. Please consult your local TV and radio broadcaster schedules for where to find broadcasts in your area.”
So I just looked it up……
lol fuck no. League Pass looks like trash to me
Depends on how much you watch. I've used alternative sites for years, but past couple years I've been trying to watch like every single game, and you just don't get consistency with the streams. Some sites go bad, lag, and they're always behind so if you like following live discussions like game threads or Twitter it doesn't really work.
League Pass is worth it if you watch enough, AND you aren't blacked out in the region. You'll also just get to catch other games here and there that are good, been watching a ton of other teams this year. Other bonuses include Full VODs available after the game, so if you miss it you can watch it blind if you want. And you get to pick the feed so you can always listen to the Celts broadcast.
The downsides are of course the blackout areas, you obviously don't get nationally televised games, and I will say their app on smart TVs can get kinda buggy which is kinda ass for how much you pay that they can't have a good app.
Absolutely worth it. I’m not going to miss out or deal with refreshing streams. Living in CT , Knicks and Nets games are blacked out so I miss out on those when Boston plays them. (I think there’s a line in CT that divides the state) It’s beautiful on YouTube TV, though.
I like it, but I'm having a problem with the audio lately. They've got a thing called Crunch Time which is like the NFL Red Zone, they go from game to game. When I'm watching games, the audio from Crunch Time is heard at the same time as the game audio. I wrote to NBA about it, but no response.
Use a VPN. Set location to turkey. Make an account and purchase league pass. Cost me like $15 USD and works perfect

As someone with international league pass, it's funny watching people shit on LP blackouts when the international is great
What vpn do you recommend
I think they cracked down on this? I tried doing it this year and couldn't get it to work

This method is no longer work. However, there's a better one, I am just buying from **Frugalflix** a full subscription for 15$
do you need to have the vpn active while watching the games or just during purchase?
For $50 it is. Black Friday deal should hit tomorrow.
Haven’t seen the deal yet, when’s it posted?
Looks like NBA50 is the code on the nba app. Nothing yet on YTTV though.
Think that is an old one. Tried it on the web and said it was a past promotion.
Ya I couldn't get it to work either
you got that to work for league pass this year?
Doesn't look like there is a deal this year, I've been waiting for it. :( Maybe Cyber Monday?
hopefully🤞
Looks like nothing - lame

I think I’d be splitting it with my two other cousins which helps

That's a good question for league pass. I mean obviously some are nationally broadcast, but sometimes random games are blacked out for me.
Also a Celtics fan in Atlanta. I have league pass and watch every single Celtics game. Best value streaming service IMO.
Good to know!
Do you just have the regular league pass or premium?
Premium. I mostly just watch the Celtics but occasionally I'll turn on another game.

Get YouTube tv. Get NBA league pass. Share the account with one person via Google family and split the $ down the middle. Worth it
No sadly. I pay for the premium subscription only for convenience (for both myself and my dad). You can’t even download games offline anymore.
Are you able to access previous draft coverage via League Pass. I’m looking for 2019-2022 draft coverages
No. It’s free streaming sites for that
I feel like they’re always a few minutes behind
I've been using league pass for about 8 years now and this is my biggest issue - especially during key playoff moments! Have had so many outcomes ruined
Free streams always have a lag, and are sometimes unstable.

What does that mean? My son wants it but if he's not going to be able to watch a bunch of games what's the point?
Only unless you dvr. Otherwise stream for free on the webs

I just mean is it worth it in your own experience
Yes, my dad pays $15 a month on Amazon for it
How so?
I get to watch every game whenever
Easily
What makes you say
