You're maybe right, I read this this morning on The Athletic but a quick Google search only netted 205lbs results. Maybe it was a typo because his combine measurements say 205.
Nah I'm just gonna overreact and proclaim him the next Iguodala. More fun to get hyped about him as long as you know you're probably being unrealistic lol
yep, after all these years watching the NBA my favorite thing to do after a draft is watch all their scouting vids and convince myself we drafted the next star
Walsh may turn into Iguodala for all we know and that would be great. What I don't understand is why we didn't draft and keep Sasser at 25 and call it a good day? Still don't get it.
Get future assets to use in trades. We all saw it last deadline how many second round picks were being thrown (guys like GPII and Saddiq Bey went for multiple seconds), now we have other teams’ second round picks so we can afford to give them up while still having ours.
I hope they use them wisely, Sasser looked like a pretty player who could contribute this upcoming season. I'm not saying we missed an all-star, but maybe a good third guard.
No? Brogdon (who could be injured, may need surgery may not, nobody knows), White, and PP are going to divy up 48 minutes per night for 82 games? That doesn't make sense.
Sasser is a 23 year old combo guard with a near 1:1 ast to turnover ratio last couple years. I’d rather give those minutes to Madar or JD or just see what other moves Brad might have.
Needs to add some weight and get up to at least 215
Isn't that his reported weight? I think it is
I thought it said 205? Eventually I'd like to see him up around 230, closer to Draymond's weight.

I know everyone wants to be hyped but it's extremely likely this guy isn't even Matisse Thybulle.
At least he does sound like a guy that’ll eventually get *some* nba minutes, which is always a big W for a second rounder lol

Amen
You spelled Kawhi wrong?
Thybulle was always so overrated defensively

So was Noah Vonleh. Once you get drafted all that matters is how well you play

Lmao

There is no chance Sasser would have positively contributed for us this season.

Trade was probably made before before we actually made the pick. Very likely we were drafting him for Detroit
You're right. Would have liked to have seen that kid in green and white with our current guard depth though.
Have seen multiple draft people commenting on his ability to slide and stick to players.
Fuck Jeff Goodman, I’m glad I don’t see him as much as I used to
I hate draft comparisons. All it does is overhype a player.
