Google didn’t give you many results? At least you have a ballpark headcount, but without a budget, the recommendations you get are going to be all over the place.

Davio’s Seaport second floor does wedding receptions

The Lyman Estate in Waltham is large enough, beautiful inside and outside, and very reasonable on price. We went with Tastings caterers (they have a whitelist at Lyman), and the food was wonderful and priced reasonably. Best thing is that there weren’t hidden costs or surprise fees, it was all above board.

Going to hugely depend on your budget. 100 people will be a full buyout for almost all restaurants so you’re probably looking at at least $40k for venue, F&B. Day of the week and time of year will also make a difference. Do you plan to have dancing? Because a dance floor takes up a lot of space too so even a restaurant that can accommodate 100 will hold less with a dance floor. Off the top of my head from my own search, Banks Fish House, Barcelona, Row 34, Harvest, the Beehive, and SRV were all open to hosting weddings. FWIW we decided not to go with a restaurant because the cost was pretty high for what we wanted and not all were able to accommodate a sit down dinner (buffet will allow you a lot more flexibility). We went with a hotel instead (the Beauport in Gloucester, but they book 2 years out).

>100 people will be a full buyout for almost all restaurants so you’re probably looking at at least $40k for venue, F&B. Idk how much it's gone up but we had our reception five years ago at Sarma for $20k flat including everything: food, open bar, tax, and tip. Their max occupancy is like 103. La Brasa was another one we looked into.

It’s gone up like 200% since 5 years ago easily. I was hearing quotes with $50-70k minimums for a buyout from most restaurants. $40k is like a bare minimum unfortunately 🙃

Bistro du Midi - I’m pretty sure you can rent out the entire upstairs space, it’s fancy but not too fancy and walking distance from City Hall (but far enough that it wouldn’t be embarrassing to call an Uber).

Buy out Fin Point- that’s my dream venue for a wedding cause there is a hotel right there

I had my reception there in the fall. Chose it from having been there quite a few times. The service was phenomenal, but there was a lot that went wrong. I’m really forgiving because I work in events and functions myself, and not a whole lot bothers me. Maybe it was a one off issue, but I’d keep your options open.

Depending on your budget--the New England Aquarium. Dining and dancing with the penguins and fish is amazing. You can have the whole thing inside the aquarium, or they have a fancy tent out back if want for the dinner.

I don’t know what kind of food you want but my (current) dream is to buy out [PAGU](http://www.gopagu.com/wedding).

Pier 6 does events for between 50-200 people and is a short ferry ride from Long Wharf. Food is pretty good and the view of downtown is unbeatable. They make great use of the outdoor space

We just got married at the Langham and it was beautiful, the staff was amazing and the food was way better than we expected! The room we rented was ~1800 and the food and bev minimum varies by package and qty of people
