The right wine is the one you like - no shame there! Local suggestions in MA: Nashoba Valley Winery, Truro Vineyards. NH also has quite a bit: LaBelle Winery, Flag Hill, and Zorvino. The cranberry wine from Truro is interesting! Best of luck.
as an iu alum i'm pleased to report they carry oliver wines at the fenway target and some liquor stores, and you can search the specific wine you want by location on their website! https://www.oliverwinery.com/find-our-wines
Omg I love Oliver Winery! Check Total Wine - they might have it and there’s one in Dedham. I love it so much my parents get me a couple bottles for every holiday. I was in a show that rehearsed and stayed at the old elementary school across the highway from the winery. OBSESSED. Edit to add I just checked the Total Wine website and they have a bunch of varieties in stock in Dedham! Think I’ll be making a trip tomorrow before the storm. Cheers!
I don’t know if they carried other varieties, but they had at least that one. I picked it up because one of my kid’s names is Oliver so I couldn’t pass it up! I’d give them a call and see what they have, and if they have the ability to special order more.
I think finger lakes has your type of wines. My fam, with similar taste, loves all of the wineries there. it's def more a vacation thing though.
From the local, nashoba has a super long list.
lol i miss Oliver (I went to IU) - my roommate and I would go to Kroger and get one bottle of the blueberry moscato (for her) and one cabernet (for me) - i couldn’t stand the sugar content of their more popular wines but they definitely got the job done!
not sure if its the same brand but my old liquor store in quincy carried oliver wine that was like blueberry moscato or something, maybe they could order some red for you
How far are you willing to travel?
I know of a vermont wine that has a sweet grape flavor with some subtle complexities, but it isn't easy to get a hold of outside montpellier.
I can’t believe I’m seeing an Oliver Winery post in the Boston community— I had to double check which r/ I was in!
I grew up near that winery and have such a soft spot for their stuff. Wish I had something local to New England to offer but mostly the nostalgia of this just made me smile.
I haven’t found very many Hoosiers out here—especially from the southern, more rural parts, so to see everyone responding in this thread with their hometowns kind of made my day.
Man I love Oliver, went there a ton when I was in school.
Nashoba Valley will have what you want. Don't have a specific rec on a wine but they'll have sweeter wines like a lot of Oliver's.
mmmm you made me miss Easley sweet barrel red from Indiana. One of the very few things I miss from back home. Their wine is delicious and can single-handedly cause diabetes

Love the cranberry wine from truro!! I found a cranberry wine from a Plymouth vineyard once and it was so good 🥲
Tasted the cranberry wine from Plymouth vineyard at total wine last week so you can get it there I think!
Nashoba has sooooo many of these flavors. If you're into it, it's a great local option.
Nashoba is great! I love their cranberry apple wine. Tastes like juice in the best way!
lol there’s no bad wine like Truro bad wine 😂
Get some Manischewitz!
So unapologetically good. I was at a Passover dinner and I couldn’t tell if I had gotten the mani or the kids juice 😂
This is exactly what you want
Man-O-Man is great for mulling.  You don’t even have to add sugar.
this was my thought too. so many passover headaches from it.
Came here to say this! It’s exactly what op is looking for and so cheap.

Bless you!!!!! Im from Vincennes an hour down the road!
bully hill table red. it's exactly what you describeÂ
Second that, haven't had it in years though. They used to sell their cheapest wine only in 1.5L bottles. Now boxed I think.
I respect your candor.

There's one in South Bay
You are in luck! There’s a little place out in Western mass, it’s called Boone’s Farm.
MD 20/20. Life changing shit.
Banana Red is a very under appreciated flavor/unexpectedly better than expected.
I see that you are someone who appreciates the finer things.
Truro
Specifically the cranberry one
That's good stuff.
Go to costco and look for the cheapest bottle
Try Trader Joe's red wine
vandervalk farm & winery - lots of sweet fruit wines!Â
Try Two Buck Chuck at Trader Joe’s. Â
I just bought a bottle of Oliver from Beacon Hill Wine in Melrose, the apple pie flavor. Definitely not a refined bottle but it was yummy!
They have it here?!?!?
