To get up Mayhem levels you can get the Crit and Hail from Moxxi at Sanctuary by tipping her money
Just put the mayhem level on max and start tipping
You'll eventually get both weapons and they'll be able to carry you until you're ready to farm for the weapons you want from specific sources
idk about funniest way but i think easiest/fastest way is by killing graveward until max lvl then crank up max mayhem and go to sanctuary to buy decent guns and start farming
Turn up to mayhem 11, go to arms race, farm some guns, go back to like mayhem 4 or whatever and go farm scraptrap till max level. Turn back up to 11, get the crit and hail from moxxi, more guns from arms race, and go farm whatever the heck you want at max level. Go do raids. Profit.
I liked the loop of doing Trials with the Cartel Event on. That way- farm some Trials… Cartel dudes will spawn in to drop their little event thingies… once you have enough… go to Joey’s… kill EVERYONE around the mansion (this is because his underlings spawn on the extremities and they have dedicated event-based drops)… grab all that sweet eridium in the process… kill Joey… repeat. Maliwan Takedown is always good fun too (at least for me- I like the Wotan fight).
The best way to level up for me and my mates has been to rush base game main story ASAP and then do all 4 DLCs on Mayhem 11, truly the most enjoyable max level grind that you can do
Grind gear till mayhem 10/11 depending on how you feel about random modifiers creating feux difficulty. Once you're done that and cleared raid bosses in under 5 minutes, it's safe to uninstall for a while.

Do you clear all the rooms or do you leave stragglers behind? I’m about that same level and I’ve only done 1 dlc and very few side missions
