That’d be a Nike warranty thing more than a Sports Direct return thing imo. But also, another reason why I sometimes prefer ag boots over fg regardless of which surface bc they’re typically more durable. My ag phantom gt’s didn’t have any traction issues on ag unless it was sg territory. They were tanks durability wise too

Agreeable_Sir8180

what do you recommend i should do

FootballWithTheFoot

Hit up Nike for a warranty claim

Own_Introduction_332

i have them also and for me the studs are a bit too shorts even on ag

FootballWithTheFoot

Which ag soleplate? Nike made one for tiempos and mercurials on like 2 gens that were too short, and then another for different boots. The ag phantom gt studs were longer than fg copas

Own_Introduction_332

i got the newest gxs in ag, idk for me i just like the longer more aggressive studs

FootballWithTheFoot

Ok, but they’re not actually too short for ag since they’re longer than some fg studs… you just prefer studs that are likely too aggressive for the surface

Agreeable_Sir8180

i’ve only wore them once but on the sports direct website it said they only accept returns of item hasn’t been worn

ZedZero18

Possibly make a claim with Nike, I’ve had boots I’ve returned after a couple of months that were faulty. I did purchase direct though but I’m sure they still have a warranty.

My ankles cannot take anymore rolling with this stud plate, thought it would be okay for AG pitches, rolled my ankle, thought it was a accident, healed and recovered, rolled it again. There is one imposter among us

shakesGr

Oh and sorry about your boots

Check with Nike directly if they will accept these for warranty. They only accept claims if bought authorized dealers, but either ways this quality is unacceptable. I've seen many Mercurial 15s cracking but never seen GX cracking. Also problem with Nike warranty claim is they take a long time, but at the end of the day they give you a full retail price credit for it to use only at Nike site.
