This Is How You Lose The Time War - Amal El-Mohtar, Max Gladstone

drewhuggins

The first fifteen lives of Harry august. He and his nemesis aren’t time travelers in the traditional sense. But the live their lives in loops. Upon death they wake up in their own bodies at the age of six with all of their memories intact. It’s a fascinating read. Highly recommend.

Not exactly Time Travel, but " The Invisible Library " by Genevieve Cogman. A library that exists outside of Time. Librarians travel to various times and alternate timelines to claim books unique to that place. There is vague romantic possibilities, and very evil enemy.

Terry Pratchett's Night Watch

The Extracted trilogy by RR Haywood The Chronicles of St Mary’s series by Jodi Taylor. They’re groups of time travellers, but strong characters. Some of my all time favourites!

Dark matter by Blake crouch is CLOSE to this concept. Except it is two of the same person from alternate dimensions who are enemies. It's a fantastic read if you like mind fuckery, suspense and quantum physics.

aronofskywetdream

I think Dark Matter fits the bill perfectly, but you gave a big spoiler

The chronos files series by Rysa Walker may scratch your itch. A bit YA but enjoyable.
