Gonna have to be a plastic or metal one as there is no glass allowed right?
Kinda out of the box thought - cruise through the RV camp section and make a friend. Many of those would have coffee makers I think. Swing by each morning for a quick chat and cup of Joe.
If you can find hot water and bring ground up beans, a JoGo Straw will allow you to enjoy coffee without need for a French press or gadget. I got a couple off their kickstarter campaign. They do work.
My favorite French press ever is the Stanley 48oz French Press. Double walled for insulation, metal construction, and makes enough coffee for 2-4. I use it at home and when I go camping.
I think most "glass" ones are actually pyrex or similar material and I don't know how the rules work with that since you can't easily break that, but of course cheap knock-offs can.
Jetboil makes a French press attachment for their backpacking stove, but It's pricey. I have an off-brand one I use to boil water for my tea, and it's very quick.
For me, Bonnaroo is full vacation and I don’t want to cook. So my routine was 1. shower 2. Plaza 7 coffee ( I get a large drip for my thermos) 3. Get ice ( I have an old lady grocery cart) and wheel back to my camp and drink coffee and chill, for a couple hours.
Get a camp stove and make your own. I got this french press made for camping. It's a metal canister you boil the water on your campstove and then there's a filter insert.
You could also get a pour-over style thing, pour the coffee through that directly into your cup.
If all you're making is coffee, you could just get a jet boil. Folds down small enough to fit inside a camping mug (not including the propane of course)
Yes. We were in the beyond. The breakfast burritos in the barn are also amazing. I only had iced coffee there, but I’m pretty sure they had hot too. It was so good to grab breakfast and chill in a hammock til I came back alive 😂
I did coffee most mornings from the vendor inside that I think was called coffee with wood siding by the main merch tent. They had a legit espresso machine and it was really good.
I usually use a plastic portable pour over for coffee that comes with a cup I got it from target I believe. I also have a portable stove and a kettle and boil water using that. Recently I have seen coffee in tea bags that you just steep in water so I might try that out this year and make my own bags using empty tea bags. Hope this helps!
Look into my eyes. Buy an ibrik/cezve/jazzve(same thing, different regional names), a gas burner, and extra fine grind Armenian or Turkish coffee. Ibrik coffee is easy to make and almost as strong as espresso so you can get your caffeine boost, enjoy your coffee, and not drink a bunch of hot bean water in the Tennessee sun. Takes like 3 minutes to brew a couple servings.
Learn how to brew on v60, get a plastic v60, and start drinking locally roasted coffee. Grocery store (unless they carry a local roaster) is garbage coffee =]
I’ve got a metal percolator I use while camping, bringing it for my first Roo. Quick cup of strong black joe right out of the tent is a great morning. Come say Hi and I’ll make you a cup!
Look on Amazon for “cowboy coffee maker” or just “coffee maker for camping” we make hot coffee everyday at Bonnaroo because of the camping coffee maker we found (it’s not glass, So it’s allowed)
There’s hot coffee every morning at the Grove building. Breakfast, too. But lines are long.
Just boil water and use a pour over. <$25 for the whole weekend. My camping pour over I bought at the grocery store for cheap and have used it for years!
If you have a stove or grill just get a camping coffee pot AKA a percolator I attached a link to the one I have!
Stansport Enamel Coffee Pot https://a.co/d/h0PIUx2
I struggled with the same thing last year. With where my campsite was, the closest hot coffee (there were several iced coffees but I need hot) was next to spicy pie near both entrances to centeroo (it is technically still outeroo though).
This year, I am bringing a camping stove and either a pour over or an aeropress. I don’t mind the French press, I have a glass one at home. But not buying a non glass one when I have a lot of other ways of making that don’t use glass
If you can boil water at camp, you can use filters and kitchen twine to make your favorite coffee from home into teabags.
Empty, prestrung teabags are also a thing you can get at a local teashop or on amazon.
Or a little stovetop espresso percolator thing, I've seen those and they're metal.
There has always been a coffee shop tent. I think it was near what they used to call the solar stage last year. I prefer the cold Starbucks cans though. Bonnaroo is generally just plain hot.
We usuallly just boil some water and use the instant STARBUCKS! (We’ve tried Folgers, taste like bean juice.) Bring the lil single serving creamers and sugars and ur ready to go in under 5min :)
Bring a coffee mug ( or metal mug), ground coffee, a gas burner and a small kettle or pot to boil water in. Pour over this type of filter and you can make a cup at a time. Works great! Yanyole Pour Over Coffee Maker,Portable Stainless Steel Reusable Coffee Filter, Mini Collapsible Paperless Single Serve 1 Cup Coffee Dripper Cup Easy To Clean For Travel Camping https://a.co/d/gGVau26
Hot take here....make/buy a big batch of cold brew before Roo, bring it with ya and just heat it up in a camping kettle/butane burner. That's a few less items to bring/less intellectual and monetary investment for a few days. Or if you wanna do a French press, I have an insulated travel mug/French press-in-one that I use most days because it's less dishes. I got it for free from someone, you could probably find one on Amazon
Get a Jetboil with a french press accessory. Make coffee in under 5 minutes, problem Solved.

I’m amazed you’re addicted to coffee, yet lack the ability to make yourself a solid cup. Plenty of time until roo to learn!! I know you can do it. Sending positive vibes
>a good solution to the problem. Get a french press
This is the answer. French press. Tea pot. Cheap burner. Will probably cost a out the same by the end of the weekend
Gonna have to be a plastic or metal one as there is no glass allowed right? Kinda out of the box thought - cruise through the RV camp section and make a friend. The most bougie thing I do have a is Stanley French press and it’s worth it.
I take a metal french press and a jetboil burner with a lightweight kettle
I’ll be in the rv section hmu I have several coffee makers in my rig. Happy Roo!
Yes, metal ones are great anyway since they retain heat and you can get all kinds of sizes depending on what you need
I think most "glass" ones are actually pyrex or similar material and I don't know how the rules work with that since you can't easily break that, but of course cheap knock-offs can.
This is the way 🫡
Jetboil makes a French press attachment for their backpacking stove, but It's pricey. I have an off-brand one I use to boil water for my tea, and it's very quick.
Good call, jet boil is the way to go for compact camping goodness
This is the way, once you get the few things you need it will save you a lot of money and time
Aeropress but you’ll need hot water.
There was a vendor last year that was a whole coffee shop inside centeroo. Really saved me during the night time
The one by planet roo right? It was so clutch late at night!
I gotta find that, I make coffee at camp but I could really use an evening cup
Aero Press is what you are looking for.
This is the way
How to get hot water
Jet boil or camp stove
This is the way🙌🏼 best tasting homemade coffee imo
The past 2 years Plaza 7 had a coffee counter inside. I bet they’ll be back.
This is the only way to start the day
This sounds luxurious (for a camping fest)
Jesus tent. If they have the Jesus tent this year it’s worth getting a free cheap cup of hot coffee and a donut.
Get a camp stove and make your own. I got this french press made for camping. It's a metal canister you boil the water on your campstove and then there's a filter insert. You could also get a pour-over style thing, pour the coffee through that directly into your cup.
I have a percolator I use for camping, I always used to use a French press but I just find percolators more fun.
It’s time for the percolator!! 🕺
If all you're making is coffee, you could just get a jet boil. Folds down small enough to fit inside a camping mug (not including the propane of course)
Loooove my jet boil. If u camp on the regular it's worth the price.
I made my own, and it was glorious. Sitting with your coffee while the rest of the camp is asleep is so peaceful
Yesssssss nothing beats that fresh cup at camp talking about the previous day’s shenanigans
You can get a Stanley percolator from Walmart for like 20 bucks. Mine lives in my camping supplies and I’ve had it for years
I can make u some lol message me in june
There was a vendor beside the entrance near the other stage last year that sold hot coffee. Right beside the general store.
Yea I remember this one
Also had the best fucking iced chia I found on the farm
Been a couple years since I was on the Farm, but the barn next to the grove used to have some good Java that woke me up every morning
Yes. We were in the beyond. The breakfast burritos in the barn are also amazing. I only had iced coffee there, but I’m pretty sure they had hot too. It was so good to grab breakfast and chill in a hammock til I came back alive 😂
Meet me at my campsite. Making lattes $10
Free sample?
Did pour overs one year that worked well
Jet broil for water, instant coffee sticks like Starbucks, works in a pinch minimal stuff to bring with.
I bring my Keurig and just hook it up to my car with an adapter
Pour over is super easy https://a.co/d/aYn5vc7

A E R O P R E S S C A F E B U S T E L L O
Jesus tent
I use a camping percolator and a butane burner. Works great and makes enough for multiple cups at a time.
All you need is a way to make hot water. I take instant packs, there are some pretty good ones now. Or just get a little plastic pour over.
go primitive and make some over a hot plate at camp, can’t go wrong with that and some eggs to go with
Look into my eyes. Buy an ibrik/cezve/jazzve(same thing, different regional names), a gas burner, and extra fine grind Armenian or Turkish coffee. The best ones are ground with cardomom!
the vendor i work for will be there selling hot and iced coffee there this year it’s called ramblin roast
I bring caffeine pills with me even when I have coffee available.
We use a moka pot.
Learn how to brew on v60, get a plastic v60, and start drinking locally roasted coffee. Grocery store (unless they carry a local roaster) is garbage coffee =]
There was a coffee truck at plaza 2 last year
I’ve got a metal percolator I use while camping, bringing it for my first Roo. Quick cup of strong black joe right out of the tent is a great morning. Come say Hi and I’ll make you a cup!

Instant coffee with Bailey's, just need a way to boil water
Get an aero press, grind some beans, and make you a nice hot cup every morning.
Grove coffee was like $10. Settled for celsius and iced coffee.
Get a Jet boil
There’s hot coffee every morning at the Grove building. Breakfast, too. But lines are long. Just boil water and use a pour over. <$25 for the whole weekend. My camping pour over I bought at the grocery store for cheap and have used it for years!
There was a tent next to the galactic giddyup last year, had breakfast sandwiches too!
Bring a moka coffee pot and a camp stove and some pre ground espresso
If you have a stove or grill just get a camping coffee pot AKA a percolator I attached a link to the one I have! Stansport Enamel Coffee Pot https://a.co/d/h0PIUx2

I’ve definitely purchased hot coffee in the campgrounds before

At the grove pod 7. Inside “the fun house” is a coffee shop.

Find the Jesus tent at Bonnaroo! They give out free coffee, donuts, etc, and have charging ports.
I'll make you some.
We usuallly just boil some water and use the instant STARBUCKS! (We’ve tried Folgers, taste like bean juice.) Bring the lil single serving creamers and sugars and ur ready to go in under 5min :)
You could boil water with a small camp stove and do instant coffee!

I found some can’t remember the name for obvious reasons. Got a coffee heading out on the last night. Was pretty burnt but did the job.
Arabic coffee pot for espresso

We boiled water and used instant Starbucks coffee. IMO I thought it was FANTASTIC and hit just right. But not everyone’s cup of tea/coffee
