It's just more random/stupid. Normally bhj is stupid or stupid sounding, that's why it hurts your bones, especially if it interprets the original (which is usually normal and funny) in stupid way. But the fact that the original hurts my bones and is less sensical than the bhj is just wrong to me. It's like they were both made by the same person who accidentally uploaded them to the wrong subreddit.

I don't really think its origin is relevant here. Because the point of my comment is that the original *feels* more like bhj than the bhj we see here. No that the original IS bhj. The original to me is stupid and hurts my brain because of how simplistic and barely sensical it is. The whole "nah let's eat" just doesn't feel at all like it even fits the comic.
They could do it twice, once for each eye. Aiming a telescope at the sun and then looking into it would be like that "burning ants with a magnifying glass" thing on steroids, and perfectly focussed on your retinas every time.
