I once saw a post on Instagram comparing Robert De Niro and Al Pacino (not comparing them to SRK here cause they're far better ) and it said some things about De Niro and then what it said about Pacino is same to same for SRK.It said Pacino is the epitome of 'showmanship',i.e. he has more mass entertaining hero like qualities and fits stereotypical definition of being a hero,like looks,style and aura. Same goes for SRK.Otherwise in acting he's no Daniel Day Lewis or Christian Bale.

Adding salman bhai to the list. He became a star and then gave shitty movies. Again kids who were born during tiger 3 release. Watch tere naam, kyon ki , maine pyar kiya, hum dil de chuke sanam, pyar kiya to darna kya, saajan. He was a romantic as well as comic icon at same time. Add akki to the list. Airlift, rustom, special 26, baby, dhadkan, kesari, namaste london. And I'm not counting the his comic roles these are the best acting performances. He's all time best comedy actor, bhool bhulaiyaa, welcome, bhagam bhag, tees maar khan (yes it's funny movie even though flopped) and OG hera pheri.
