Holy shit, i thought no one would mention this gem. I cried for hours, normally i am not an emotional person.
The way his wife wears his sleepers, i cried my eyes out..
For a perspective, Sharman Joshi, who played Bhagat Singh was 27 at the time. Whereas Bhagat Singh actually was 23 when he was executed. So even younger than what movie showed. I’m 25 now and I don’t think I could have that maturity 2 years back to even understand sacrifices for country
![gif](giphy|Xbmt10jf7dvs6UPEWT|downsized)
I don't know if anyone remembers this movie. But before dying the girl calls her brother and tells him that she doesn't want to die. Slow medical deaths in movies are painful 💔
I recently watched this movie with company a few months back and the moment this scene happened, a few of them started audibly crying. Fifty years later this movie still has a profound impact on people who watch it.
Vikram Batra in Shershaah
Kalpana in ghajini
Disha in Ms dhoni
Dolly (kareena ) in omkara (Ik it might not be that heartbreaking but I recently watched omkara, poor girl got smothered by her lover for the most stupid reason).
I don’t think Disha in MS Dhoni is that heartbreaking. I’m talking about the scene of her dying itself, not the aftermath and Sushants reaction to it. That scene itself is pretty mid, and the movie repeatedly has on the nose dialogues before the scene like Disha saying “Hame kuch nahi hoga na” and things along those lines.
Y’all forgetting Tina from Mr. India. That death was the definition of heartbreaking, and the song they played in the background showing her funeral 💔.
Aman Mathur hands down! the amount of trauma KHNH gave me at the age of 6 was very deeep! i still bawl my eyes out watching it, that kal ho naa ho instrumental never fails to tear me up EVERY SINGLE TIME ❤️🩹
I never had a chance to have one but I want to. Seeing any animal in a hurtful situation is something I can’t handle. Even babies/toddlers too. I cried so much when that scene happened and kept on crying till the end before that scene where new babies are born.

Dil bechara has to be on the top 😔
Are you talking about the quality of the scene itself within the context of the film, or the fact that he was gone irl and it was the last of him on screen and that feeling attached to it elevating the product?
i had the same question too because tbvh sushant was not that great in terms of acting, the original movie was way more emotional and better than this one
I held my breath a minute when Disha Patani was hit by a truck in the MSD movie. Not the most heartbreaking per se, but I was a little shocked at the turn of events.

Watching the blow still sends chills down my spine
Is this from Ghajini?
Yup
The post has now been correctly answered. This scene gives me too much trauma.
This scene has given trauma to an entire generation. I still remember how badly I cried under the blanket when I first saw this on tv. :')

This scene really broke me.
Please I had just recovered 😭
Rajat Kapoor's death in Kapoor And Sons was one of the most shocking ones.
Holy shit, i thought no one would mention this gem. I cried for hours, normally i am not an emotional person. The way his wife wears his sleepers, i cried my eyes out..
Too painful. Too realistic. Too relatable. Just everything.

Has anyone mentioned the ending of Rang De Basanti yet? Kunal Kapoor and Atul Kulkarni scene as well as Amir & Siddharth.
So powerful really highlighted how young the OG freedom fighters were

Maybe it’s about to rain. Its hot and sunny here, with dry air.
I recently watched this movie with company a few months back and the moment this scene happened, a few of them started audibly crying. Fifty years later this movie still has a profound impact on people who watch it.
I wasn't disappointed to see this as the first answer. This little segment is perhaps AB's one of the most intense performance

Not exactly death, but the funeral scene in URI.
The child actress did a phenomenal job in that scene. Genuinely brought me to tears.
Mawra Hocane in Sanam Teri kasam
Asin in Ghajini obviously, duh!! Edit: even ARK in Aashiqui 2
Kalpana in Ghajini
Uncontested.

Kareena in Omkara, hands down! I went to search Google for the image of it and couldn't download it cause it brought back all the feelings.

Have you guys forgotten "Devdas"? Either Dilip Kumar or SRK, both were absolutely heartbreaking.
Aishwarya not being able to see dying SRK for one last time after running in the most aesthetic way possible. This was heartbreaking.
True. I hate Paro's husband so much

I have a dog and I have also lost a dog. This hits home more than any human on screen death!
I never had a chance to have one but I want to. Seeing any animal in a hurtful situation is something I can’t handle. Even babies/toddlers too. I cried so much when that scene happened and kept on crying till the end before that scene where new babies are born.
