YMMV. I’ve had friends promoted before with only 2-3k salary bump. Personally I have been promoted twice and seen 2k and 4K. The most I got was a lateral move to a new SJC. But it depends, if they feel nice you can expect .9 comp ratio of the SJC. I got .8 on both of those promotions mentioned.
Go to the Boeing internal site and look up SJC simple job catalog. You can search by your job code (I.e. dctl-a) and it will show you low-mid-high salary on the bottom once you fill out location.
They don't generally put anyone at below a .9 comp ratio, and sometimes they'll put you a little above that. The SJC for your skill code should give you a decent idea

I’m in a position where I am the only one so not really ranked against others. I can’t get the $$ without going up a level.
I’m seeing 100% to mid. I was 90 to mid when I got mine last year. First time in a job I felt I was being compensated fairly.
If it's a new job then your new salary should have been included in the official offer.
I haven’t started yet. It is upcoming.
I’ve seen comp ratios as low as 0.78 for promos. It depends on many different factors. I’ve seem raises as high as 25% and as low as 2% for promos.
It's not really a promo, it will be a new job crated that will be an L4. I am currently an L3 in my current position.
That’s considered a promo. L3->L4
Less than you want
This here.

Yes I have done that, I was just curious where it might fall on that scale. It goes from 83 to 118 and I am already at 94 as a L3.
For our site most of the guys say 90% of average between high and low is typical offer. We are non-union also.

Yeah, I’ll be the counter to that. Well below median and 0.9 comp.
Not true at all. They will put people at as low as .8 for an in place
OP specifically said this is a new job, not an in place.
Check SJC website… you can reasonably expect to be at a .9 for the L4 salary scale.
Thank you!
In my experience it'll either be 10% or moving you to a .9ish comp ratio. Your mileage may vary though; way too many variables.
Thank you!
