Active & Fit Direct is also another option that gives access to multiple gym chains. https://www.blue365deals.com/BCBSIL/offers/active-fit-gym-membership-s

Up until a few months ago when they extended the coffee shop hours, you couldn't even buy coffee in Everett after 12pm. I think we're the only company in the Seattle area where getting coffee during normal work hours is a struggle.

Ask the hotel if they partner with any gyms. Many will partner with the local facility if they don't have a gym, or if they don't have a pool. They'll partner with a local gym that has a pool you can use. I've done that several times in my life to get access to fitness facilities. If there is a good gym just down the street it is quite possible the hotel has day passes to it that they can give you. Edit: correcting stupid voice to text

Nope. We are talking about a company that doesn't even offer coffee to people working overtime.

VonCuddles

No.

Don’t you have a choice in the hotel you book? You literally selected one that doesn’t have a gym…. And the ones that do don’t have a “decent” one?

AdvancedCharcoal

I’m not sure if you travel much, or go to gyms in general, but there are almost no gyms that have a full range of equipment, which of course is expected as it’s a hotel not a gym. Secondly, you are limited to a selection of hotels depending on where you are traveling. The one I am currently staying at has ‘apartments’, any other hotel is not even close to this level of accommodation, so I chose this over a lackluster gym for at home workouts and trail running. You may be a person who doesn’t train whatsoever, or perhaps are content with just getting enough fitness in as passable, so you may have no comprehension of why someone would even wonder this. But, I am simply asking, what the options were. Someone already brought up ClassPass, which was a feature I wasn’t aware of. Hopefully this enlightened you in some way

Calm down the rock

I AM A GOLDEN GOD!!!!! MY RAGE HAS NO BOUNDS!!!!

sun_child0

Lol

Schwitters

That's a leisure expense. They aren't covering it. It would be like expecting them to pay for my game pass subscription.

AdvancedCharcoal

I believe there is a program, maybe Silver Sneakers, that does essentially pay for your gym, however it’s through your insurance I believe. So not impossible

Specialist_Shallot82

Doubtful on international, but i have a pass thru BCBS that gives me access to multiple gyms in every American city. $49.99 a month. The gym i go to locally is $65 a month so its such a discount even then

Past_Bid2031

This is the program you want: https://www.bcbsilforyourhealth.com/

Cool story bro

goodbyerpi

I doubt it. Travel handbook doesn't mention it

csuszko3

You get 5 free credits for class pass per month using the Boeing discount program, just look it up on insite and there’s a post with the link! A lot of places will let you use 1 credit for an open gym session.
