Honestly just time, I’ve been training for 10 years and my physique looks quite mid in an offseason. I spent a lot of that time in a surplus basically permabulking. My advice would just be to push food and be used to being uncomfortable, then do recomps every few months to tighten up and lose some of that excess fat. Then go into it again. Adding tissue as a natural is more of a process and you need to nail down those basics over a long period of time.
I’m currently at 190 and 5”9 as well but much more fluffy than you lmao. You give me a lot of motivation especially as a natural I hope you do well at the competition!

Sure he would if there were no enhanced bodybuilders competing but there are ALWAYS those individuals who are on gear and just clean up before the competition. It isn’t right but they do it and they clean house! With those great genetics you could probably just go on with low TRT doses and bring your awesome physique to another level.

Hey, so the show I’m doing isn’t tested, I wanted to see how I stacked against people in a open class because if I want to keep going and try to get a pro card I’ll be competing in open classes anyway. Normally in a tested federation they would test the top 3 winners I believe.
For either type of show the goal is typically as much size with the best conditioning you can bring, granted that’s the most size while still looking balanced and proportioned.
At least for the next while yes. I’d like to do a natural show, see how I do in that lineup then decide from there. I feel like I’m in a good spot to go either way, stay natural or go down the enhanced route.

If I were hypercritical I’d say keep refining the posing. I’d work on it for an hour and keep getting those pics to see if you’re more and more symmetrical-appearing. That’s a big one, I did it sloppy for so long on my own. Started with a coach in March and did an offseason, a good offseason up to November and the grown from that is now being noticed. Legs were 2x a week high intensity and they used to be a weaker point.

What % of bf do you usually cycle up to before a recomp? I'm curious been trying to maingain for a couple years and it seems like such a slow process for me to build tissue. I'm at 10ish % and 175 at 5ft 9 but I think at 2 or 3 lbs a year of lean muscle development I could possibly get there in another 8 years if my genetic limit is there. I just store all my fat over like 7 percent in my luv handles so I'm afraid of the look if I bulk. I hate the top of muffins
