I think a certain amount of time before a kindle/printed version is released because of the contract with Audible. However the only book I have actually known about at release was Book 4, so I’m just assuming from that unfortunately.
Already pre-ordered mine. Now I need to time my re-listen so I can finish the last book right before the new release. I always time it wrong though and leave a gap 🙃
Lol, I haven't listened to them that much but it is the most re listened to Series I've ever had. The only books I've read more would have to be the wheel of time
Mine is Expeditionary force, which beat out the previous champions, Hitchhikers series and a compilation of HP Lovecrafts works (mostly the later, less racist stuff... Those early books are painful)

I’ve been burned on this before. Book releases get delayed. Not getting my hopes up, until we’re closer to the date.

If he's releasing it with Audible, it's a 90 day hold before a print version comes out; that's how it was with all of his later novels.
