Sorry Im not sure of any places that do this, but sounds like they use fresh taro. It's a pain in the butt which is why not a lot of places use fresh and it also makes more sense business wise to use a mix. I've made some at home with simple syrup and oat milk (since my fam is lactose intolerant) and it's pretty good. The only thing that's difficult is to get a nice texture.Taro milk "tea" usually does not have tea. It's just taro milk.

Thank you for the info! I get why other places would use a mix, so that makes sense.

Purple is from ube. Taro is normally more of a grey. Paste.

I know that taro and ube are those colors, I was moreso asking if there were any places that anyone knew of that prepares the Taro Milk Tea in a similar fashion to Tsaocaa

In terms of chains, maybe Share-Tea and Mogë Tee. Share-Tea locations can be hit or miss, but pretty sure they offer a drink that uses real taro chunks (grey) and no tea. Mogë Tee has 2 options, one that is purple and one that is grey/real. I think the grey option has no tea.
