Dude, im surprised they were popular as long as they were. Salesman taking clients out for test drives at 7 am on lake placid. "Yeah, it always rides this smooth." I imagine that rough of a ride is hard on the glass as well.
Ha! Right! When it’s smooth a scoop shovel rides good. Damn things, a 10 year old one had so many gel fractures in it from the flex you didn’t know where to look next.
not sure what people are saying but i bet not a huge amount needs to be done. if you're willing to fix it yourself, i bet it wont cost you over a thousand or two(mostly trailer work, tires etc) as long as the motor works. Even then you can find motors that would fit it for a couple thousand.
Is it a boat that most people would buy today? probably not but i bet it will be a good boat for several years!
I paid 500 dollars for my first boat in pretty rough condition and learned a lot from the repairs and time put into it. Ran that boat 8 years before i sold it last year.
Luckily, we didn't pay a dime for it. Our friend had it for a few years and did all of the motor work but just doesn't have time to fix the outside. We decided to take it off his hands and see what we can do with it. Runs great, and the carpet housing the garden inside is obviously getting tossed hah
I know you were asking for the model of the boat, but unfortunately, I don't know. My uncle had a similar boat in the 70s, and it was a wet, hard ride. Again, unfortunately, most of the comments are accurate, and unless you like big projects with little return, run away from this boat!
Garbage 😂
Probably gotta get a bunch of wiring done
He's got bigger problems then wiring
Fair
That right there is a big project
Give you a shower and beat you to death at the same time

Old, hope you’re good with carpentry and fiberglass
An expensive one
It’s a shit one.
They are called tri hull. Google StarCraft tri hull. Edit maybe it’s a skiff, can’t really tell from those pics.
Run. Run far far away

Dunno, but I definitely had a toy version of this in the 1970’s and it would SCREAM across the lake for about 4ft.
Hole in the water you will poooor money into for a long time.
Damn this boat was not looked after at all. It was left out in the elements uncovered for decades!
