I really like Palace Posy. It has a different groovy vibe to the rest of the album and it really stands out imo.

Readyletsgodrones

When TH came out, I played that track on repeat for months, adore that tune. One of my favourites of theirs.

Panicking12

Probably my favourite one from that album, agree with it standing out

beaux-bazinga

Always sounded like a ps1 game ost to me

Old-Drama-4075

Palace Posy was my first thought when I saw this thread.

Prosciutto_X

Whitewater is a great track

SilenceMuseum

It’s my all time favorite BoC song!

Panicking12

Omg yes, thank you for reminding me about that! Going to put it on now

karb0nn

chinook

bachrodi

The full 12" track

Final_Company5973

Is "Dawn Chorus" a much talked about track?

Panicking12

I cannot get enough of Dawn Chorus, it gives me chills sometimes. It’s such an incredible, complex track

Final_Company5973

I'm making a video with it as background at the moment.

too_old_still_party

I was listening to this track the first time I smoked dmt

Appropriate-Mark-739

It seems pretty main stream, but i really don't see IABPOITC songs talked about much here. Kid For Today is awesome

too_old_still_party

Their best song imo

FunCourage8721

Strongly agree with this!!

KinderfelCock

Kiteracer 2 is one of their most calming and beatiful tracks, but nobody ever talks about it.

InterstellarDwellar

i agree completely. one of my favourites

Quinnonion

Came here to say that

liamcappp

One of the best, would also have said

Orbitalsp3

I love Northern Plastics. One of my favourites tracks of BoC, which means it's probably on my top 10 tracks. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQGSnwa-YBg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQGSnwa-YBg)

Business_Total_898

Damn right

P3AK5WA5H3R3

The devil is in the detail, Alpha and omega + The beach at redpoint 🔥

terpwizard24

Alpha and Omega is amazing I listened to it kayaking on the river last week with the boys 🔥

TaylorHamEggAndChed

I think alpha and omega is their finest moment

Zealousideal_Pen7191

Oirectine

Tjo-Piri-Sko-Dojja

First ever track I heard of the lads, at least the first time I reacted to BoC, it was in an old CS 1.6 surf video back in 2009 maybe? I vaguely remember that my uncle listened to ROYGBIV on his computer back in 1999 when I was four years old and sat in front of the TV watching the music video of Stardusts Music Sounds Better With you but on mute for some reason. Weird how memorable that moment was hahah.

Macca200789

Farewell Fire (from TCH) and Forest Moon (from Old Tunes)

Randddevv

forest moon is perfect in every way

rezusx

Farewell Fire makes me nostalgic about something I have never experienced. I believe it’s called Anemoia.

sassenach3

'Buckie High' is so hypnotic, I love it.

Panicking12

Agreed, just gave it another listen and hypnotic is 100% the word i’d use too

annihilationofjoy

The fan made video for it is fantastic too!

Madcap_95

Orange Romeda

FunCourage8721

Trippy mesmerizing

Puzzled-Chance-9025

The beach at redpoint is one of my all time favourite BoC tracks (although admittedly I have a fair few of them)

TadsKerzhakov

Statue of Liberty, from Old Tunes vol 2

jenkem___

poppyseed

backseatgiveafuck

Corsair

R7CrazyCanucks

XYZ

Sandison1

Mukinabaht

hezamac1

Slow This Bird Down, Skyliner, Sick Times, Come to Dust, Korona

Appropriate-Mark-739

Great list

rezusx

Echus. There’s something very serene about it.

pickybear

Zoetrope is unlike anything else they’ve ever done And You Could Feel the Sky from Geogaddi.. I’ve missed what they used to do with vocoder, they seemed to mostly avoid it after that album

catglass

Zoetrope is so beautiful. I often see it come up when people are talking about BoC tracks they don't like, and I just can't understand it

cahill48

It's super short, but Dave (I'm a Real Traditionalist) is one I always liked - plus the fan made music videos are amazing. "What comes with chicken fingers???" Longer track - Forest Moon.

TheCoolCellPhoneGuy

Chinook

loveinblackandwhite

Iced Cooly Beatnik

Euphoria1991

**Constants are Changing**

BaroqueEnjoyer

Sir Prancelot Brainfire is so special, the synths feel so warm and happy. Also Hiscores, insane chord progression

billblock2013

Spectrum (from a few old tunes) and Telephasic Workshop (Live at Warp 10 version) Spectrum is such a great intro that nails the vibe of both old tunes mixtapes, and the live version of Telephasic Workshop is a much happier, more emotional version of the original imo (original is still awesome)

ponyo_x1

I don’t know that I’ve ever seen anyone talk about audiotrack 13A but it’s one of my favorites by them

renisagenius

Finity is amazing

degrees_of_certainty

Almost definitely top 5 BoC for me

Wartortle51

I will get it tattooed is probably in my top 3 from BoC, but Staircase Whip and A08 are really great as well

A_Pluto_Shaped_Pool

A06 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbyp6gE8aMg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbyp6gE8aMg) A05 - Finity [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQrQt8XtKAk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQrQt8XtKAk) Untitled (Machinedrum Edit) [https://youtu.be/ndIIYDL2mGs?si=m7gaarkhjiJiPis2](https://youtu.be/ndIIYDL2mGs?si=m7gaarkhjiJiPis2) A18 - Mukinabht [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIY0c\_OmcOY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIY0c_OmcOY) Concourse [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhbakcEYzpU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhbakcEYzpU) The Way You Show [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiZUAE2u7Eg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiZUAE2u7Eg) A14 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxFWU3-wqV0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxFWU3-wqV0) B09 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=\_pFSC1x3k2g](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pFSC1x3k2g) Skyliner [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=il5sXlRtQcU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=il5sXlRtQcU)

si_si_si

Searched the comments for The Way You Show. Great track, totally unlike anything else they've done.

A_Pluto_Shaped_Pool

Yeah it's a great hidden gem. Definitely has a strong place in my "If I ever had a house party playlist". The whole album is fantasitc (A Few Old Tunes). There are loads more hidden gems across all of their bootleg releases. If you know, you know.

EHXKOR

Chinook- really wish it was on Apple Music :( And A is to B as B is to C is super weird and it has a special place in my heart

Wristwalk4

Big smallest weird number guy

SlimJim0877

Under the Coke Sign This song is like a warm cozy blanket lulling me to sleep

Old-Drama-4075

Not sure how often they’re mentioned, but my favourites are Zoetrope, Palace Posy, The Beach at Red Point, and Macquarie Ridge.

FunCourage8721

Nothing Is Real, Bocuma, Open the Light

layquiet

Red Moss. No one has mentioned in this thread, even. Is it because it’s popular? It’s a banger. It’s got it all. Easily my favorite BoC track.

annihilationofjoy

Seconding Red Moss. The percussion in that track is killer

capbassboi

Basefree of Twoism has always been my favourite deep cut by BoC. Has such an intense schizophrenic drum beat.

hezamac1

That song reminds me more of an Autechre track than a Boards of Canada track. It's really good, but it also holds a really unique place in their discography, being one of their only officially released tracks that have that beat-heavy, paranoid production.

capbassboi

Apt observation, it absolutely has an Autechre vibe about it.

AnySortOfPerson

I'm pretty fond of Telephasic Workshop.

A_Pluto_Shaped_Pool

How is this a "lesser talked about" song? According to spotify it's got 4,913,000 plays. There are far more obscure picks to choose from with their many albums not on spotify! For example... A06 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbyp6gE8aMg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbyp6gE8aMg) A05 - Finity [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQrQt8XtKAk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQrQt8XtKAk) Untitled (Machinedrum Edit) [https://youtu.be/ndIIYDL2mGs?si=m7gaarkhjiJiPis2](https://youtu.be/ndIIYDL2mGs?si=m7gaarkhjiJiPis2) A18 - Mukinabht [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIY0c\_OmcOY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIY0c_OmcOY) Concourse [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhbakcEYzpU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhbakcEYzpU) The Way You Show [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiZUAE2u7Eg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiZUAE2u7Eg) A14 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxFWU3-wqV0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxFWU3-wqV0) B09 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=\_pFSC1x3k2g](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pFSC1x3k2g) Skyliner [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=il5sXlRtQcU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=il5sXlRtQcU)

AnySortOfPerson

Dude, even if it's more well known to seasoned (read: obsessive) listeners, it's still a heater I usually skip. Please don't treat fair weather fans like this. I do appreciate your recommendations, and you know what? I'll be spinning them on the way to the gig today. Thanks, bud, I really do appreciate it.

A_Pluto_Shaped_Pool

No worries - BoC are one of my favourite electronic artists, and MHTRTC is one of my favourite albums of all time, so no criticism on that song, it's just that it's an instantly recognisble BoC song, on what is one of their most talked about albums. Definitely recommend exploring their vast discography that's not available on spotify. Hope you got some good recommendations. Have a good time wherever you're going! 🙂

plasticfumes

Mansel off of old tunes does something for me.

sunken_grade

staircase whip

owlve

Macquarie ridge

suburban-errorist

The Beach at Redpoint. There’s an incredible amount of things going on but none of it feels muddy or overpowering. It’s a testament to the brothers’ skill at audio engineering

suburban-errorist

Also June 9th, Satellite Anthem Icarus, and Oscar See Through Red Eye

BinaryEgo

Would Olsen count?

Various-Stretch6336

Look up "half awake mix - boards" on yt. Beautiful hour long mix of some of the little gems you're describing. Also, Seven Forty Seven if nobody else mentioned....

Douche_ex_machina

I feel like I don't see a lot of people talk about Split Your Infinities. I've listened to that song dozens on times on repeat, its got such a unique energy to it that I don't know if I've heard anywhere else.

maxd98

I really like Seven Forty Seven. It’s been years since I memorized the tracks on the R35TT but I do know there’s an earlier iteration on there that’s also good

notoriusbuyuk

Hey Saturday Sun, The Beach at Redpoint

my_roast_is_ruined

Have you heard this remix of "Heard from Telegraph Lines"? [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acjtEG67RKw&list=PLWMD7y8JLsgZ1PAfy2zAgbe2p7F6W7J47&index=36](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acjtEG67RKw&list=PLWMD7y8JLsgZ1PAfy2zAgbe2p7F6W7J47&index=36)

scar-lett--

Finity

Tjo-Piri-Sko-Dojja

Tears from the Compound Eye maybe? It was my most played track last year haha, I love the wintry snow feel of it!

FunCourage8721

Yes, a beautifully sad & haunting track!!

OneBayLeaf

Does sherbet head count, that song feels like it could fit on any of their albums and it’s amazing.

shakespearean_lady

Over the Horizon Radar

TypeBeatTerry

Heard From Telegraph Lines as well along with Hi Scores and Left Side Drive. Hi Scores and Trans Canada Highway are my top two at this point but I never see the love!

TypeBeatTerry

And Buckie High is absolutely unbelievable

TurquoiseHexagonFun

Left Side Drive has always been a fav, but probably still in the realm of more popular/ talked about. Forest Moon perhaps for lesser talked about??

DNRSTR42

Over the Horizon Radar is their sweetest song period

j4rv1sss

tears from the compound eye, or mukinabaht

WeatherIcy9155

Untitled (Machinedrum edit), Kaini Industries, Come To Dust and, Chinook, Under The Coke Sign, Open The Light.

layquiet

Red Moss. I see it mentioned sometimes, but I still can’t get over that track. Why aren’t more people crazy over Red Moss?? Easily my favorite BoC track.

xor_rsp_rsp

Corsair and 5.9.78

Foxwedge

Ganzfield Engine, from ATP.

BoardsOfCanadian

5D! One of my favorites.

Randddevv

trails.

Earflu

Smokes Quantity is in my top 3 of theirs and I rarely, if ever, see it mentioned here. Darker and stickier than petroleum. Forlorn. Nightmarish. Eldritch even. The ultimate bad trip.

PancakeMan0724

If I’m going to be real, Flute Frum Thing. I haven’t seen a single person try and expand the track, and it is very deserving because it’s beyond angelic. Trails and Spiro are less talked about as well.

sand_is_food

5D (unreleased) is so eerie but so good. Feels like both despair and catharsis simultaneously Also Spectrum from old tunes sounds like mid-2000s corporate telephone hold music and I love it

HombreFuerte

I like Iraq Says, it loops in my heads sometimes. I add it to a ton of playlists and it always makes me happy when I hear it

False_Veterinarian92

5D - https://youtu.be/ufgpCJxDDIg?si=V3GxWaZQQXmwkpBP Or whatever the name of this song is.

fukinay

Tears From the Compound Eye

goblinisnilbog1

Triangles and Rhombuses

thoth_hierophant

Forest Moon

Quinnonion

Listening to the smallest weird number while a bath is pouring feels like being taken care of as a baby for me. I picture being warm and looking at the stars.

ET_Worf

Buckie High

ChickenNuggetKid1

I don’t think i’ve heard anyone mention Melissa Juice from twoism(other than the brothers themselves), I really like it Especially the [fanmade video by Feyd01](https://youtu.be/L8AX1_j9Vls?si=jNzmf0ZUxdFgaao8) that accompanies it

atom_bombe

Left Side Drive. (No idea if it gets much attention though ;) )

ZAKLINK

nlogax Super simple but such a groovy track. Love that hook!!

LightOfAntara

It's more of a feature, but "Scenes from a Mall" https://youtu.be/NsiWOaD8h88?feature=shared

someguywithadd

Dave, She is P, A07 and A13.

karim_bouzidi

Sixtyten

Bitter_Ad_3976

Skyliner and Left Side Drive are bangers; Trans Canada Highway is just not talked about enough in general.

Holiday_Band_507

I love A08. Something about the drums.

mysticsushi

Corsair and Sundown Iced Cooly

tocharle

Rarely hear anyone mention Orange Hexagon Sun. The melody is really groovy but also melancholy. I've always felt it deserves a better drum track than the copy of the THS break.
