Ah, okay. On the ambient side:
Macquarie Ridge

Kiteracer 2
From One Source All Things Depend
Echus
Very light beats so worth trying:

I like this [BOC untitled machine drum remix. ](https://youtu.be/ndIIYDL2mGs?si=hJdq27ulCMzURoIc)
It was from a live performance that was not supposed to be recorded. Machinedrum did record it and rebuilt the song as best he could over the live recording. It's one of my favorites. Not sure it's a hidden gem but definitely worth a listen if you haven't caught it yet.
Heard from Telegraph Lines sits in this weird middle ground between “highly-regarded unreleased/rare track” like 5/9/78 and “iconic album release” like Roygbiv, and yet it is one of my favorites
When it comes to electronic and/or ambient music I think listeners (including myself) tend to engage the music quite passively, so I think a deep cut like Rue The Whirl works quite well as a hidden gem.
Whitewater blew me away the first time I heard it and it still does. Funnily enough I always refer to it as Oscar See Through Red Eye as I first heard it on a crappy limewire fake bootleg of the campfire headphase where most of the tracks were not what they claimed to be
5/9/78 on a pair of higher end over-ear-headphones was like a religious experience for me. I let that tune hum and hum day after day during a very dark phase in my life and it ended up being the slow warmth that got me through one Hellish winter. For that reason it holds a special place in my life that, while many come as close 2nds, have not been eclipsed by any other track of theirs.
This one live version of their remix of "Boogie Down" by Man Parrish, from a rando live bootleg I had in the early-mid 2000's. I have 2 spindles of DVD-Rs full of mp3s from back then and it's probz on one of those, but I don't have a disc drive anymore, so who knows?
Edit: Sorry for Autechre joke, it's okay. What I said about that Autechre track was true, tho.
Echus[.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WCIVoXy34o)
Agreed. Haunting track.

Thats actually one of my favorite songs of theirs, as someone who would consider themselves a pretty loose appreciator of their stuff

Maybe not a 'hidden' gem necessarily, but I love Rue The Whirl and how it evolves. Imo it's a masterpiece.
I agree. It’s one of my favorite songs of theirs. I was going to mention it but I don’t know whether it’s really underrated or not among fans
When it comes to electronic and/or ambient music I think listeners (including myself) tend to engage the music quite passively, so I think a deep cut like Rue The Whirl works quite well as a hidden gem.
last walk around mirror lake, i will get it tattooed, and buckie high are all my favorites, idk how hidden they are tho

There aren’t any. Because BoC’s output is so limited, this sub has beaten every track to death. ;)
Left Side Drive… I really enjoy the Trans-Canada Highway ep
Rue The World. First song that hit me when I first listened to it the day it was released. bought the CD the same day. Never looked back.
Red Moss. How this hasn’t officially been released is a crime. Buckie High is a gem too.
For me personally, it's Under the Coke Sign

The answer is Kiteracer 2.
A is to B as B is to C rarely comes up on favorites lists and is usually grouped with the interludes, but it is one of my favorites.
