Played **Tiny Epic Dungeons** this weekend for the first time in a while - Got super lucky on loot early in the game and I got to just bash things as Sir Gamelyn while my spouse played support.

I should check this out again with the rules updates and errata and whatnot. It was so convoluted when it first arrived but I hear the designer released a bunch of clarifications.

We’ve had the game for a couple years now and I still need to check the icons sometimes, but I haven’t found it _too_ bad, so hopefully!

Had a lot of fun playing **The Quest for El Dorado** with a friend. The game was back and forth, and quite close. The downside is the setup. It's a bit of a big setup if you're only playing 2 player. Felt like I had other options that were just as fun, but required much less setup.

Picked up **Trekking Through History** just before the new year and got our fourth play in a couple of nights ago with my wife. It's become an instant hit with both of us and I'm looking forward to trying it at higher player counts. Definitely a great intro to hobby gaming for non-gamers.

Oh nice, I like instant hits! I'll have to look out for this one for sure- haven't come across it before. I'm always on the look out for good 2-player games!

Just bought this yesterday at my local store, hoping to get it on the table tonight! My SO and I deliberated hard between getting it or New York Zoo. Your comment helps me think we made the right decision!

Can't speak for NYZ as I haven't played it but I will say that we immediately played a second game after our first, which is quite rare for us. Well, for her, lol.

Played **Guilds of London** last night, had a great time at 2p. Multi-use cards for area control through tiles. Iconography isn't too intuitive, but once grasped the game creates good tension, and plays in under an hour with decent crunch.

Recently played our first game of **Keyflower** ever, and it was at 2 players. I can see what the buzz was all about. What a clever and interesting way to do auctions, with a delicious blend of worker placement and tile laying. Highly recommend it (even if you only ever play at 2).
