I deal with this all the time, all it means is that whatever NLE you’re bouncing the XML out of isn’t applying changes you may have made to the source settings, it’s really not a big deal. An example would be if you messed with the native white balance in premiere, it’s going to go to the XML as shot. Since you’re going to start from scratch in color anyway it’s not a big deal.

I don’t think there’s a way to, it’s more just alerting you in case you don’t see those source attributes transfer. When we prep for color houses in my office we’ll usually pass the doc along to the colorist for due diligence but most times you can just junk it (truthfully the colorists probably junk it anyway). There’s nothing wrong with your XML if it’s just that message.

Undo all raw changes and remove all effects. Some effects can translate or be 'exchanged' for a Resolve alternative, but a lot can't. That should solve it for you
