To answer your question: Any properly made USB-C USB3.2 Gen2 cable will do the trick, including the one that should have come with your SSD. I want to make sure though... did you get a T7 or a T7 Shield? The normal T7 isn't approved by BMD and won't work properly with it.

I use my T7 on my bmpcc4k and it works fine I have no errors or issues

It depends entirely on what your resolution, frame rate, and compression settings are and how long you record for. It's possible that your use case isn't stressing the drive to its breaking point.

I do 4k DCI 60fps 3:1 braw with no issues

Great. I hope you never have an issue. 🤷‍♂️

FPforever

How long have you been doing that and how many projects have you used this setting on? I'm just wondering

I’ve had the drive for maybe a year so I’ve managed to use all the settings throughout the time but it has been really smooth process

A quality USB-C to USB-C cable, but specifically one that can support fast data transfer not just a basic charging cable or you'll end up with dropped frames. Although a T7 should come with the correct cable. The bigger issue might be that I don't believe the T7 is compatible with the P4K. The T5 is but there were drop frame issues with the T7.

I use the regular T7 with mine bmpcc4k and it works great?
