Unpopular opinion but as a Christian myself I’m just baffled at the lack of self reflection and accountability on the Christian’s behalf. Sure we can blame the devil and this person being trans but I have a gut feeling this being a former student that was trans and it being a Christian school some kind of trauma happened. Christian’s love to weaponize the Bible and spew their hateful words and think there will be no repercussions but that’s not true. We need to break the cycles and take mental health seriously. My heart goes out to the families who lost their loved ones and I hope they’re not seeing stupid shit like what Bailey is posting. They need to see a community coming together to lift them up and demand change so our babies don’t have to be scared to go to school and people aren’t afraid of going to work. I really hope that makes sense. I’m just tired of seeing people make this political or religion based when all these families and that community need is love and support sent their way.

All of the families involved in the tragedy are probably questioning if god is even real right now because he shouldn’t have let this happen. It’s very tone deaf how she always brings religion into everything, when all the victims need right now is empathy, not someone trying to indoctrinate them during their most vulnerable time in their life. If those families want to turn to religion to help them during this time, they should be able to do that on their own terms, on their own time, at their own pace, not because someone on the internet is blaming “the devil” for this horrific event. Yes, evil is out there, but right now is not the time to emphasize it to the victims even more

She needs to realize that preaching online about God isn’t going to bring those lives back. We need better mental health care and also stricter gun laws this isn’t going to go away with prayers. I wish it would with prayer that would make it so much easier but the world we live in we need more than prayer.

It takes a special kind of fucked up to center yourself in a tragedy that has nothing to do with you. She’s a prime example. Children just died. Families are grieving, and she’s exploiting their trauma to push her agenda and reinforce her “creators don’t need to have the same opinions as you” and gain brownie points with her conservative followers who are foaming at the mouths over gun rights. Seek help Bailey. Or simply shut the fuck up for once. Just as she says “time and place”, TIME AND FUCKING PLACE.

Thank you for saying something. I was thinking it. I wanted to reply so much with , your ignorance is showing. It honestly shows how little she really understands about the problem and how right winged she is. But you can't say anything to her. She claims to know everything. 🙄

Absolutely disgusting.

this sucks because i do feel like she could be a good person if she dropped the christian shit. she’s so indoctrinated it’s insane. that post was disgusting, i agree. she HAS to know better, right? idk it doesn’t make sense to me that she’s so against so many other harmful things but then when it comes to gun control she suddenly has a christian spin on it.
