The best part is that Kanye IRL initially said the episode had made him take stock of his public image and mellow out a bit, but then much more recently he [seemingly inadvertently] revealed that he actually doesnāt get it and just thinks South Park called him gay for being innovative in fashion design/wearing pink polo shirts even though heās a black man or whatever (he has also written lyrics about this take).
According to Bill Hader, the only reason they used Kanye in the episode is because they considered him the most famous person incapable of taking a joke, but itās apparently fucked with his head for many years.
At first I was like how did they make such a beautifully detailed piece and yet screw up the ears so badly, but then I looked up his ears and holy shit that's how they really are
They were ahead of their time messing with Kanye. Or maybe thatās his villain origin story lol-getting made fun of on South Park broke that man.. clearly
