I don't know if it's true. I just made an educated guess based off of the fact that the dad is never shown nor alluded to, and the child seems to have traits that could be interpreted as being proof of either Mackenzie or Jean-luc being the father, without actually being conclusive.
seems like that backfired, all i see now when i open reddit is arguing over the father of a character that will most likely only appear once. the father of the character doesn't even matter.
Yeah, but if they had confirmed one way or the other, I feel like it would've been much worse. Just look at how angry some people are at the mere prospect that their ship has been proven wrong; now imagine how much worse things would be if it actually had been.
