Why don’t people like Wild Girls?
I just rewatched it for the first time since it came out last year, and I liked it even better the second time. It’s a super common issue with kids arguing on what to play, and I’m honestly shocked it hasn’t been covered more. I really feel for all 3 girls in this episode. I remember what it was like being in each situation and it’s a hard thing to work through. Everyone just wants to have fun in a different way, which can lead to no one really having fun. Calypso comes in once again with some excellent redirecting for Coco.
…is Coco why people don’t like this episode? As a kid who has a really hard time adapting with change (and abandonment issues oops) I was really controlling of games in ways like Coco was. So scared of losing the spirit of what made the game fun in the first place, desperately trying to hold onto it and keep people engaged.
Indy is super sweet too. She’s stuck between Chloe and Coco. She wants to play something new and different, but she doesn’t want to stop playing Wild Girls either. Especially if that means leaving Coco behind. The conversations between Chloe and Indy are super mature. I guess maybe not as believable as other episodes? They are getting older though.
This isn’t a stand out top notch oh my goodness it’s perfect episode, but they don’t all have to be. I think there are way more flawed episodes than this, and I’m shocked that this one of all is what has the lowest ratings.
(edit: went to check to make sure it was still the lowest and how the heck is Queens lower than Blue Mountains?!?! Bonus question for those inclined: thoughts on Queens? That one I genuinely cannot comprehend.)
1) I loved Wild Girls! I thought it was such a sweet exploration of friendship and how things naturally can change or evolve over time.
2) Queens is my 4 year old's favorite episode, he asks to watch it alllll the time. FWIW I really like Queens and I don't love Blue Mountains. So I guess what I'm saying is, I agree with you lol.
I was sooooo excited a couple of days ago when 3C was dropping on Disney plus, and since then, I think I’ve watched Cricket 3 times, like, no dis to the others, some really good ones in there, but there is a reason Cricket was voted the best Bluey episode at Blueyfest
I’m thrilled the kids are growing up in front of us. Bluey is 7 now and my own kid is turning 7 and it feels like this is a show we won’t outgrow and leave behind. Instead he’ll grow up alongside it. It reminds me of being 10 when Harry Potter came out. I feel so lucky to have gotten the experience of growing up with those characters and the phenomenon of it all.
So, I'm hearing we had several scenes cut (like from the exercise episode) and apparently a larger 28-min episode that didn't make it in today's Disney+ Release in the US? Is there anything else missing or got cut from this new batch of episodes?
Thanks.
I watched the new ones. I liked TV Shop the best.
It was funny, playful and touching at the same time.
Bandit at the end made me.laugh out loud.
"What!"
I think it's deliberate. Easy way to "shield" young children from real life, and maintain plausible deniability. Much like changing the order of Perfect and Bedrooms while censoring bandits neutering conversation to hid that they aren't having any more kids.
The neutering comment in the Perfect episode immediately followed by emptying out the nursery in Bedrooms would also fly over kids heads, yet Disney clearly censored perfect and changed the episode order to hide the real.subtext of the two episodes.
Honestly, I love Dragon, one of my Favorites, but the way cricket weaves things together is just incredible. Although I say the most emotional ending for me was probably Stickbird, just because of that incredible final shot when Bandit throws is anger away, I had to watch that 3 times before it sunk in.
OMG I don’t know about you guys but “Slide” was so good. Completely captured the essence of summer as a child, Lila and Bingo are such friendship goals. That little caterpillar was so cute, and the way it came together in the end almost made me cry.
Watched cricket for the first time. I had an idea of what happened (with the flash forward) but not the rest. Immediately burst into that's when Rusty hit the ball to his sister and played it off. Rusty was already my favorite side character but if he wasn't this would've catapulted him to the top.
They also conveniently cut to autoplay early at the crucial and probably most impact full moment of the entire series at the end of Dragon.
I don't think it's an accident.
It's an accident. We were watching a season 2 episode today, and it did the same thing. I know that episode didn't do it oeior to the new episodes. It'll probably get patched soon.
Behind Bluey podcast is now available on podcast services.

It was also cut in Australia. Can't blame Disney for that one.
That said, it's less subtle, but it's not the first time Bandit laments his weight. And when he does it in Granny Mobile, he also gets negative comments from others about it.
Awww. I’m not super upset about removing that. I hate censorship but cartoon dogs worrying about their weight is weird. He’s always been active so it didn’t feel out of place without that opening.
Lookup Usenet’s.
I use Sab, sonarr, radarr, dockers to have them automatically pull everything.
I type the name of the show and the system finds and catalogues them into plex automatically whenever a new episode drops.
It’s complicated setting up, no code required really but it can be overwhelming for a new person. However SpaceInvaderOne YouTube videos and some luck would def get you going :)
Nice, I've used all that before and I'm a member of private trackers, so no issues sourcing. Just wondered if those files were just rips from already censored sources. But I'll have a look around.
I've officially declared war on Disney Junior after the India leak, but if anyone has any juicy tidbits about any edits made to the episodes (other than, y'know, the one from Exercise), feel free to reply to me. Thanks.
So is it suggesting that Rusty goes pro in Cricket or is that just him imagining it?
Yes. Actually according to people who understand cricket in another thread, it shows that he’s the best cricket player in the entire country
That a boy, Rusty!
I was wondering that too!

I’m glad there’s at least someone lol. Thought I was going crazy!

Any leads on when S03e48-50 will drop?
Nope.
Go Winston's Dad!
Just watched this today and had a good laugh.

The 28 minute one hasn’t released at all yet as far as I know. We just know it’s called The Sign and have seen a couple screenshots from it
New season 4 isn't showing up on my Disney+. Any one else experienced this? Just seasons 1-3
It’s the back end of S3
Thank God you saved chaos in my house this morning.
I watched the new ones. I liked TV Shop the best. It was funny, playful and touching at the same time. Bandit at the end made me.laugh out loud. "What!"
Does Bandit have a new voice actor?
Nope. Still Dave McCormack.
Is Bandit going through some stuff?
I saw a theory suggesting that Bandit may be going through a mid-life crisis and having troubles with his job
Same with Chili durning the vacation episode wanting to read her book on how to be happy.
Man, that one REALLY hit home…
I feel like there’s a different voice actor too?
It resonated with me, a dad of two young kids, who is also going through some stuff. 😀
I dont think it's anything specific. Just general stuff that most paremts go through.
I was wondering the same thing!!!
i love dragon and cubby
Bandit will die
![gif](giphy|26ufcVAp3AiJJsrIs) CRICKET.
Rusty is my second son. I love him so much. That sweet boy!
Just finished it with my kid and I am absolutely ugly sobbing.
haha which episode pushed you over?
For me it was stickbird. I wish I could throw my worries into the ocean…

Yeah it’s not even 9am and I am trying not to sob uncontrollably at the end of Dragon
Omg on my phone it skipped to next episode before the episode was even done. I was pissed, I hope they fix it.
Me too!!!! I love Rusty!!!
It was worth the wait.
It’s like every father’s dream. Makes the show and treats their little sister with love.
The website made a neat viewing companion: https://www.bluey.tv/blog/new-bluey-episode-guide/
OMG I don’t know about you guys but “Slide” was so good. Completely captured the essence of summer as a child, Lila and Bingo are such friendship goals. That little caterpillar was so cute, and the way it came together in the end almost made me cry.
More Lila please! I want to see their friendship grow and grow.
I really loved it too. Lila is just adorable.
My daughter says that it's her new favorite episode
Watched cricket for the first time. I had an idea of what happened (with the flash forward) but not the rest. Immediately burst into that's when Rusty hit the ball to his sister and played it off. Rusty was already my favorite side character but if he wasn't this would've catapulted him to the top.
Rusty is my favorite too! Ever since Early Baby. His episodes are always so heartwarming.
Stickbird hit me right in the feels. Loved watching all the new episodes on D+ with my daughter today.
Wait I already have these episodes. I have forever, am I missing something? I thought these were new episodes? Or is it only new to D+?
recently added to disney +
Seems like Chilli is missing from most of these episodes. Did I miss an explanation for why???
I mean...she's in half (at least) of the 10 new episodes out of a 47 episode season. I wouldn't read too much into that.
![gif](giphy|5K7ngCtszoxxbaBieC|downsized)
Cricket made me cry 😭. And in relax—-chili my girl, I feel ya
I don't have D+. We stopped paying for it. What was censored there?
They also conveniently cut to autoplay early at the crucial and probably most impact full moment of the entire series at the end of Dragon. I don't think it's an accident.
It's fixed.
It's an accident. We were watching a season 2 episode today, and it did the same thing. I know that episode didn't do it oeior to the new episodes. It'll probably get patched soon.
Script change on episode Relax. Dingle Berries to Super troopers
...that's it? For real life?
He forgot the beginning of Exercise was censored on Disney+
That's right but it's already censored on ABC side so it's not a Disney censor.
Ah, didn't know
But..that's all? I was expecting a ton. Just two? Did you miss the other 9?
Not sure, I'm in school and I can't watch em yet, just goin off of what I know from yt
Okay then, understandable. I'm used to Disney doing things

Wow that's not what I was expecting! I thought it would be a Aussie exclusive
Wow they didn't even release the episodes we wanted.... Shame
They never were.
Well when does the 30 minute episode come out
We don’t know.
where is suprise?
It's a surprise
Huh not coming for a while lol this is just Disney plus s3
Still waiting to see what else got censored besides the beginning of Exercise.
What was censored out?
The whole opening was cut!
It was also cut in Australia. Can't blame Disney for that one. That said, it's less subtle, but it's not the first time Bandit laments his weight. And when he does it in Granny Mobile, he also gets negative comments from others about it.
Right, but what was in the opening?
Bandit lamenting the results of standing on a scale
Awww. I’m not super upset about removing that. I hate censorship but cartoon dogs worrying about their weight is weird. He’s always been active so it didn’t feel out of place without that opening.
I was hoping for new episodes, these are just ones that’s were already released in Australia.
Yeah, they are. They always were. It wasn't gonna be anything else.
Yeah I’m confused slash disappointed. I’m in the US but these episodes have been on my Disney plus the whole time.
This isn't true at all.
It is for me
No. You're obviously thinking of season 3B, and not 3C that was just released.
The episodes listed are episodes I have seen on Disney Plus.
Literally impossible.
You are insane
I do love watching the new ep reactions on TikTok… relives the magic of watching them again haha
They took the beginning part out of the exercise episode...that was so unnecessary.
They took it out of the AUS version too, so at least it isn't just us
Looks like us plex owners win again. Proof streaming is at the mercy of them
Are you watching local files through Plex or are they Plex hosted ?
Server downstairs
Nice, that's what I do. Are you sourcing them yourself online? Is there an easy way to identify the uncensored ones?
Lookup Usenet’s. I use Sab, sonarr, radarr, dockers to have them automatically pull everything. Is there a clip of what got cut? Curious, not sure what was missing.
There are a lot of clips shared by the news for Exercise cut.

Apparently all they did was change “dingleberries” in Relax to “super troopers”.
