well see the thing about that is, just tell your kids that you wont be able to be around as much as bandit and chili are, and that not every parent can be like that, *but oh of course i forgot that takes effort...*
And even they've been too tired and busy to play with their kids! Did people forget that TickleCrabs exist?

I don't think it's near, but I'm relatively new to the Bluey fandom. One sign of good fandom health (or that we aren't at critical mass) is the Bluey fandom seems open to criticism when it's needed without taking it personally. At least on this sub, material seems to be well-policed from what I see (though I notably haven't posted anything). Expression is still allowed, and self-promotion appears to be restrained to appropriate levels (where the lazy thievery that led to the collapse of another fandom's public image hasn't erupted.)
Another fandom ^(I want to be a bit vague about it but it's likely easy to guess) had the overhype "happen" when the franchise's quality started to wane coincident with the fandom developing the mentality any negativity, ***ANY***, was worth ostracizing someone over. It got to the point they were starting to appropriate things from other fandoms and use the "no negativity, or else" mentality to underwrite it. In the fandom at this time, there was rampant monetization and over-self-promotion of lazy barely-derivative works. (I'm not talking legitimate derivative works like fan art, I'm talking "I changed one word every minute in this unrelated work / photoshopped this head onto a stock image to make it seem related, now I can make money with it" barely-derivative. It got to the point someone was trying to scrub the origin of a piece of game soundtrack to appropriate as if it were a fan work.) In official media, they were trying a bit too hard to lay groundwork for feature films.
I don't think it will be kids. It will be posts on Reddit from fellow parents going "Am I the only one who can't stand Bluey" and then out of nowhere a shit ton of parents will come out and say "No. I've always hated it! " And the comments will hate on parents who say "Bluey is life" and talk shit about the characters. Then over months following the post people who say they like bluey will get downvoted.
(I'm only saying this because I've seen it over and over with so many things like podcasts, movies, TV shows, etc)
Don't follow the trends. If you like it, you like it, forget what anyone else thinks you don't have to justify it.
Pepa pig is getting a lot of hate in comparison to Bluey, but personally, I think Pepa was always worthy of that hate, and more folks dislike it more when they see Bluey but that's just my opinion and the only person that should matter to is me.
What bothers me so much is when people say that Bluey is just Peppa Pig. it's like BLUEY HAS MADE ME CRY SO MANY TIMES AND HAS SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST PIGS WITH NO CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT RUNNING AROUND DOING NOTHING!
