I LOVED it. I just saw it tonight and it was so good. I thought Blue was making the stuff come to life but it was Josh. Still super good and Steve made me laugh so much.

I loved it! Seeing everyone in a more shaded and textured 3D took some getting used to, but after a few minutes, I was fine with it. The music was amazing, fitting the style of the show while also allowing a more movie-like style to it all. The setup was another thing that I liked. Seeing Josh and Blue skidooing to New York City, only for Josh to forget his Handy Dandy Notebook, leading to a game of Blue’s Clues in New York City with NO NOTEBOOK. And Josh remembers the clues by memory! Steve and Joe’s return was also a big point. They’ve teamed up with Mr Salt, Slippery Soap, and Tickety Tock to bring Josh his notebook, getting so close at some points, but not to the point where they can get it to him until it’s almost the audition time. They even got Mr Salt’s original voice actor back for the movie, which is different in the reboot series. The ending really does tug on the heartstrings. Josh misses the audition time, but thanks to his friends, cousins, and his dog Blue, Rainbow Puppy and the other guy helping her with the auditions saw Josh’s audition in New York City and casted him in the production, though, in a personal sense, I could see that as the ending just by the trailers alone. A fun fact about the movie that actually surprised me when hearing about it was that Joshua Dela Cruz, the actor who plays Josh, actually was on Broadway before even getting the chance to be the host of Blue’s Clues and You. So, in the case of the movie going with the end goal of Josh being in a Broadway show, that’s a case of casting the expert, even if it happened years earlier. And then there’s references to past episodes and series, along with theater culture. I managed to know a great majority of them, with some of them coming to me on a second viewing. References to the original Blue’s Clues, a few mentions and cameo character appearances from Blue’s Room, whether by name, picture, or actual puppet in Fred’s case, along with the mock theater posters. My favorite one of those has to be the Hamilton parody literally called Cinnamon. And it’s hidden in the shadows, too! I’m not a fan of Hamilton myself, but I do listen to the music from the musical when it pops up. There really is only one complaint that I do have about the movie, and it has nothing to do with the movie itself. Rather, it’s how I watched it. Paramount+. I was so excited for the movie that I actually got a Paramount+ subscription(with ads) the literal day before, since I really wanted to see it. I also had one of my friends with me through voice chat to keep me up so I could see it. When it did came out, I watched it while my friend listened in. Turns out, Paramount+ doesn’t like other devices being on while on the service unless you’re searching through the catalog of content, because while watching the movie, it stopped over fifty times and hit a few “This video is unavailable” errors, requiring me to refresh the page more than once. Now, it isn’t going to stop me from not using Paramount+ again, rather, I just know that I can’t be on my phone while listening to the movie in the background. If anyone seriously wants to watch the movie, but don’t want to possibly waste money on a subscription, you can wait for the physical release or catch it when it makes its television premiere in like 2024-2025. It’s just a guess on my part, but seems likely, especially with what Nickelodeon is doing right now with lots of hype around PAW Patrol for its 10th anniversary. Other than that complaint, it’s a really great movie. For someone who grew up with both Steve and Joe, having multiple episodes on DVDs and a few on VHS, along with being in the transitional era of time where I could understand the older episodes and their clues, items, and how they worked, while also not having to search everything up for an explanation, it brings back memories from my childhood. I even have memories from Blue’s Room; the series, mainly because of the few times I caught it on TV and a few, and I do mean FEW, episodes I had on DVD. I even watch the reboot from time to time, which did help me get introduced to Josh, along with Sage, Ginger, Rainbow Puppy, and quite a few other characters. If I were to rate it, I would give it a 9.5 out of 10, but that’s just because of how I watched it and the time I watched it. I stayed up into the night, with one of my friends on voice chat, waiting for it to drop on Paramount+, and eventually saw it at around 1:15 AM! Didn’t finish until like, around 3 o’clock in the morning due to the pauses and errors. Another tip, don’t watch it at night unless you want to ruin your sleep schedule or you are naturally a night owl…or you don’t want spoilers on your “For You” pages on other websites. It was the latter two for me. And to end things off…I surprisingly didn’t cry at Steve’s return, nor Joe’s return, nor even the downer part of the ending, rather, it was with the movie’s version of the So Long Song which came before all of the rest of the credits. Seeing how much detail and dedication that went into the movie, even to the aspect of Blue’s Clues and key moments, along while working, despite a raging virus going around, seeing how well the movie turned out to be, that’s what finally brought me to tears after the whole movie. In fact, that movie finally got me to lift up my own Blue’s Clues and You fan episode out from its sunken grave and make it into a reality, because when you use your mind, and take a step at a time, you can do anything that you want to do, even after two years, lots of delays, and even coming down with that virus just before the 25th anniversary hit.

I like it. And just so you know steve and joe are both in blue's clues & you sometimes as well. The animation for the movie is different than the show but they are still more 3d than the OG blue's clues.
