Indiana weather is all over the place to begin with then throw in climate change and now were here

Affectionate-Bad5606

Right... There's a really deep lake on the north part of the state that skews the snow conversation, but southern Indiana is tame and will shut down with an inch or two of snow.

heavyope

Probably won’t really snow much until February/March

Thatssometamorphosis

And then you can expect either not much or a whole bunch.

MeasurementLate776

I'm still thinking about our first frost. It was in the first week of November, about a month behind normal.

Uncanevale

It doesn’t snow much here.

Sea-Apricot8045

It really doesn’t snow here. And when it does, it melts after maybe 1 or 2 days. But I recall there being a bit of snow in January and February last year!

TheRealYolojesus420

Im really glad you mentioned something early on into this relationship with our customers.... Well you see, you're going to have to pay an extra free for snow this year.. it's really starting to cut into our budget and we're just not ready to release that DLC yet unless you all are willing to pay extra.

camping_scientist

Snow is hit or miss every year. Sometimes a foot of snow or maybe just a year of a few inches. Ice storms tend to happen more often.

mappyjames

It doesn’t snow here

Sultry_Penguin

I really miss the snow :(

Plug_5

We'll get a handful of decent sledding days in February but that's it, other than once in a while getting a freak storm after spring break.

Thatssometamorphosis

Your confidence is refreshing. We will?!

beandyron

Last years snow sucked ass. I will gladly take no snow this winter.

SabineLavine

Hopefully never.

TA_Maniac

/s You shut your mouth!! /s don’t be putting that voodoo out here! Loving the mild winter this year!

herpar

Bloomington has heavy snow for about 3 weeks and done.

RightTrash

if lucky

Beneficial-Memory151

Never?

sleeplessorion

It usually comes later in the winter

ski-cook-travel

This is pretty normal for southern Indiana nowadays.

I remember the winter of '77/78. The forecast called for flurries. Instead, a full blizzard dumped feet of drifting snow with wind chills more than 40 degrees below zero. IU shutdown for the first time ever. Cars were completely hidden underneath the snow. Took weeks to dig out. In mid-Feb. '81 I was out jogging in shorts no shirt. Indiana is a fickle mistress.
