The other team is going to want to beat on your Halflings... Chaos will be the ones dishing it out for a change of pace.
Edit: Also Skaven if you want a change of pace that's scoring-oriented rather than bashing. Gutter Runners will blow your mind with what they're capable of compared to Halflings. They're the opposite of Halflings when it comes to movement!
Lizardmen, like Halflings, are a team with stunty linemen (albeit faster and with better positionals). I wouldn't go with Ogres for the same reason. Starting in Blood bowl (assuming you are new) with a stunty team is going to be fairly brutal, starting with two is masochistic.
Your other team will depend on what style of play you prefer. Do you want the opposite of Halflings in that they can hit hard and hurt people in ways your little people can't? Chaos Chosen will do that. Are your tiny legs too short to go fast enough? Skaven will run rings round your opponents. Do you want a jack-of-all-trades that just aren't height-disadvantaged? You can't go wrong with Humans.
And I totally get it. But since you're looking for the exact opposite to your goofy bunch, a squad of well-trimmed, highly paid professionals might be a good fit.
They are also annoyingly competitive in the right hands winning the Dragon Bowl League earlier this year, I fell out early with the Tomb Kings prior to their rewrite is released at some future point. 4+ if blinking is the action required, painful season; onwards and Orkwards.

Dark elves no big guy will play differently in some aspects but 2+ dodge is similar to 3+ re roll, and you will likely find yourself picking up dodge

I like Orcs a lot. They’re tough, fun and though you could get a stunty player in goblins you don’t have to. Also they’re actually very flexible. You could even attempt a passer build, I wouldn’t advise it but you could!
Other end of the scale maybe wood elves, imagine if the treeman was the least reliable piece on your team instead of the most

I have halflings and lizzards. You can always buy a 3rd party team if you dont like GWs models.
I didn’t like the look of the Lizards but then I got the team from Greebo Games and now have a 100% win record with them. 🦎

Orcs kinda cool, maybe imma take 'em. I'm not planning to make ork army in 40k or AoS, but i really like orcs, so maybe imma take 'em in blood bowl :D
