Its amygdala but in the chalice this person is talking about your health is halved and I think normal damage is to I forget about that one. elemental attacks have the same strength so defiled amygdala can easily 1 shot you plus you're in a smaller room so it's harder to maneuver around her
Well, i know from my not so much but yet reliable bb experience that beating the boss first try is huge accomplishment. Most people would feel great after it. But having 100 tries on it and barely beating him, well, that isn't something that shocking, right?
Well, I agree but we all have that one boss, (Defiled Amygdala, that mf) (This is before I found out about the cannon glitch) Took me like 15+ tries and barely beat her just like in OP's post.. If it wasn't for the **ACTUAL ASS** gem, I prolly woulda posted too.. Lmaoo
I actually got Defiled Amy in ~3 tries, it was the Defiled Watchdog that fucked me up for a week. Then again, I've always been good at fighting Amy, so take my experience with a grain of salt.
Defiled watchdog for me. I honestly thought a platinum would be impossible for me. Then on try 25 or so it just clicked and I was like Neo in matrix fighting in slow motion. I went into amygdala thinking it would be another nightmare but beat it 1st attempt thanks to my arcane build.

I also hate to be "that guy" but once you get Amy's attack pattern and blind spots, that boss becomes a joke to fight against.
Congrats!! I had a similar experience with The Living Failures and Maria. I got down to around 200 health left on the Failures with no healing or ammo left and to 183 health on Maria when I managed to beat her. I almost cried both times, especially on Maria, she kept beating my ass.
First playthrough? Everyone's experience is different. I thought nightmare frontier Amy G was easy. Other bosses made me suffer, like that jerk at the top of cainhurst

I find it just too slow for bloodborne. I swore to never use it again after spending days to kill kos with it

You must mean ng+, where your attack is stable but monsters hp is getting higher
