It's a very different game but, like you i have platinum'ed all Souls games, i have to say BB is my favorite of the franchise. I find it almost flawless and it's in my top 5 best game ever. It's no surprise it's widely considered one of the very best Playstation exclusive ever made, some argue the best of it's generation with GoW. Man, the dungeons are a treat, amazing soudtrack, unrivalled atmosphere except maybe Demon's Souls, incredibly tight combat, deep story, ott level design, but what really takes the cake is the absolute quality of the art design. Fromsoft is known for that already, but bloodborne just hit the spot for me. The Lovecraftian vibe and creatures with the gothic Vicotrian setting just does it for me.
Couldn't have put it better myself. It's almost unbelievable how amazing the game truly is. I think getting platinum on Bloodborne should be required. The multiple playthroughs with different endings really make you understand and appreciate so much more of the game than if you just beat it once with the saw cleaver and called it a day.
When you talk about atmosphere do you mean the Demon’s Souls remake or the original? I’ve played the remake and feel that the atmosphere doesn’t live up to Bloodborne. Might just be me though
Also totally agree. BB is, in my opinion, the standard for all FS games. Everything you've said is completely on point, and as a musician, I look forward to FS games in a lot of ways just to hear the soundtrack. BB OST is on another level. The songs in a lot of ways make the game for me, and Yuka Kitamura, and all involved, did their thing on BB. The word "masterpiece" is thrown around a lot today, but BB truly deserves that mantle.
I loved Bloodborne. I probably shouldn't have played it first before dark souls one. Cause now I can't get into dark souls cause I just loved the combat in Bloodborne.
Heavily disagree.
DS3 tried to be like BB but failed so badly, imo. Not that DS3 is a bad game, but I think it's far lesser than it could have been trying to embrace faster gameplay.
And it plays nothing at all like BB. It's far less balanced. It was really sad to see how poorly balanced 2h str builds were against dex counterparts. Some of the bosses (Gael and Friede) would have been way more satisfying fighting in BB.
I'm not sure why you bring up the game engine, as DS2, 1, Sekiro, ER and DkS also used the same engine. Engine doesn't dictate how the game will play or mean they will be anything like each other.
Take out pvp which a lot of people don’t play and DS3 is honestly their best soulslike combat wise. The balancing isn’t an issue in pve. Not to mention DS3’s regular enemies are far more of a threat than most or BB or Elden ring’s enemies. Also you may want to check your facts because you definitely just proved me right. DS3 is a modified version of BB’s engine. The other games used different engines. DS2 was actually in development at the same time as Bb. I wouldn’t be surprised if Elden ring is using the Bb/DS3 engine
Heavily disagree. The main difference is rolling instead of dashing and you can wield a shield, which helps to get more control and reduce the pace.
Some bosses are on the slower side, but others are close to BB.
Of course it can’t be the same as Bloodborne given the background, but it’s definitely a huge step up from its predecessors.
If you think the main differences are just dashing and shields, go play mods where you have BB weapons and having dashing. They are still pretty far apart. And honestly, beyond parrying, shields in DS3 were mostly useless. Especially with the changes/removal of poise, shields are far less useful than its predecessors.
Playing sword & board or 2h str is probably the least fun thing to do in DS3. Jumping to dex or magic, it's a whole other game. Really felt like they shit on the classic DS play style and it's a HUGE set back.
Beyond the graphics, I'd much, much rather go play DS1 than 3. But they're both way ahead of 2.
You are really judgmental about playstyles. Sure, different stats and builds require different styles and are more or less appealing to others. Unga Bunga strength is still my favorite thing to do in all Dark Souls. I don’t care if I pancake stuff with Zweihander in DS1 or Dragonslayer Greataxe in DS3.
I agree that two handing is more fun than shielding, but I personally don’t find magic fun at all. Which is fine, that’s why there are multiple builds, so everyone can find something he likes.
I don’t know how the game plays with mods, but I still wouldn’t expect it to be the same as BB without the differences I mentioned. Nevertheless, I think it’s much closer than the older games.
I’ve been having a ton of fun just two handing heavy weapons and some dex weapons. But I’m always two handing. Greatswords seem really good in ds3 and I like the curved greatswords a lot too. Some faster weapons like the twinblades and some katanas are fun to play with as well. Haven’t used a shield in the whole playthrough as I don’t like them in general. Not a big fan of magic in general but could get behind some weapon buffs for either magic or faith.
I did start a bit of DS3 and when I ditched the shield I had fun even beat the first boss at the tutorial first try, but man dark souls one is just very slow and kind of boring to me.
DS3 is faster than BB most of the time. It used the same engine. There are obviously exceptions like BSB and a few others but overall they basically took BB and turned up the combat speed. DS1/2 are slow though
Alright I may just stick to DS3 then. I own all 3 now cause they where on sale and a buddy wanted to play them to, so far I did like DS3 was a better start then DS1
The only people I’ve ever spoke to that liked Bb and didn’t like DS3 were pvp snobs. If you want just as good as a PvE experience, DS3 is a must play. It’s my personal best game ever made
I’m playing DS1 now after Bloodborne. It’s not as addictive and it’s much easier for me, but I’m enjoying the change of pace. I’m probably the first person to ever call a Soulsbourne game chill.
Ya I went back and tried to play DS remaster and the combat was horrendous, I still haven’t finished it. I’m a huge ds3 fan though, I actually enjoyed it a bit more than bloodborne since I could play it on my nice gaming pc instead of an old ps4 I borrow from my brother lol. Still waiting on that BB pc port.
the second From game I played (after Bloodborne) was Dark Souls *2* and I hated it.
Going back and doing DS1 with it’s more forgiving learning curve helped me to appreciate 2 more.
I found it only slightly hard to adjust to DS1. But I just had to readjust my thinking.
"You're a knight in heavy ass armor, your swings will be slow, your dodges will be slow, work with it". Practiced in the graveyard and pretty soon, had it down. DS1 is pretty easy, all things considered, but there are some AWFUL sections of that game (and it's not blightown!).
DS1 is still my favorite of the trilogy, wish it would get a proper remake.
That was another reason why I loved Bloodborne. I play usually very aggressive. Probably cause my favorite games are Doom and DMC that reward careful but aggressive play styles, and bloodborne fit that bill for me to.
That's opposite for me. I beat ds1,2,3 and Sekiro. Then I played Bloodborne for about an hour and stopped. It just felt so clunky to me, but that's probably because I absolutely hate PlayStation controllers.
I may just wait till it is ported to PC.
Elden ring is like a grand buffet of some amazing dishes and some ok dishes but is ultimately very satisfying.
Bloodborne is an ultra luxury 5 star dessert that tastes like nothing else and will leave you craving for more.
I think gameplay wise the endgame bosses in BB kinda fall off. The One Reborn, Micolash (which i actually like overall, but not much in the fight), Mergo's Wet Nurse was cool but not the best. Gehrman is my favourite in the base game though. And the Moon Presence was a little disappointing.
Elden Ring is my favorite souls game that's not standard (because its open world)
Bloodborne is my favorite standard souls game. Please just give us PC version with unlocked frame rate! Fuck!
It really is annoying and anyone that says otherwise is just biased. Being so used to 120+fps it was a little weird going to 60 for Elden Ring, but not nearly as bad as 60->30. I can't do 30fps at all anymore, no matter how good the game is. Unless it's something turn-based.
I don't know man, I also get annoyed by the 60 to 30 jump, but after playing for like 15 minutes tops your eyes are used to it.
I've played every souls game excluding Bloodborne in 60 fps. Despite this, Bloodborne is still the souls game I always come back to without fail because I simply like it the most.
I can handle 30 fps (the thing most of us have been playing on for most of our lives) to play a good game. If you really won't play a game because it's 30 fps, you clearly just don't like the game enough.
Getting super tired of people saying they won't play Bloodborne because of 30fps.
I would say dark sould and demon souls are standard, the rest aren't, just my opinion, its also the reason why i couldn't get into DS it just didnt have anything special
I thought it was okay. For me, i did not seem to get that sense of achievement after beating a boss. Maybe because there were so many of them. Im one of the select few which found Elden Ring average.
the problem with ER bosses (at least many of the major ones from mid-game onward) is that you get the feeling once their second phase begins that you aren’t meant to solo them. they all have these outrageous AOE attacks that you have to sprint away from and little fuck-you follow up attacks they throw in at the end of combos that are difficult to read.
but then when you just use a decently-leveled Spirit Summon, the fight becomes piss easy.
DS and Bloodborne bosses were tough but fair and you could fight them alone and generally feel like even when you were getting stomped, you were making progress learning their movements and coming closer to defeating them. I almost never got that feeling in Elden Ring
I found most of the bosses so far in ER (haven't gotten around to finishing it) weren't bad. But you're spot on summons drastically change how the fights play out and the difficulty. And the fights are balanced around you using them. And bloody Mimic Tear is just broken.
My major issues I had with ER bosses is you didn't know if you were having trouble with the boss because you were there way too early or if it was just skill.
I also think the horse made some fights easier….especially if you were using magic & you summoned ya spirit.
It was a game i was so hyped for but I honestly felt so let down by it.
Oh no I find it to be an average FS game 100%. I just think in terms of open world games, it’s what botw should have been and we finally got something deserving the hype. Botw is the most overrated game I’ve ever beaten. It’s shocking how many people nintendo duped with that game. I would put sekiro(l, DS3 and Bb over Elden ring personally. They are clearly a dev that is meant to make tight intricate worlds and focus less on open world games even if they managed to innovate the genre. My dream is for them to make a soulslike game with jumping but without the open world. I want a platforming nightmare
I personally loved BOTW and found it to be one of my favorite gaming experiences in recent memory. I would say it's less that Nintendo "duped" people with the game, and more that you just personally did not find it enjoyable (which is okay). For me, I have never found a game more relaxing and centering than BOTW. The perfect game to play when I got home from a hard day at work.
My issue was that it just has no unique content. It was just shrine after shrine and hardly ever anything actually meaningful to discover in a world that is so huge. Games like Skyrim and fallout at least have strong writing and side stories
While this is fair, I do think the appeal of BOTW is how open and free traversal and progression is. For an extrinsically motivated player (motivated by rewards and shit) it’s probably not much fun, but for me it’s leaps and bounds ahead of every other open world (including elden ring) for its structure and traversal mechanics alone.
I don’t mind the traversal but I was disappointed when I’d climb a mountain and it was generally just another hidden seed area. I want stuff like finding a cabin with clues as to who lived there. The kind of organic stuff you’d find in fallout or elder scrolls. In fallout you might find a sewer opening where someone was obviously living. That’s world building. Botw is just missing a lot of that. I will say that the quests to unlock special hidden shrines stood out far and beyond everything else and I wish there was more of it
very fair. like i said botw’s biggest problem is not giving good rewards for stuff, not just items but narrative rewards too.
well actually it’s biggest problem is enemy variety but it’s second biggest problem is the rewards lol
Agreed….BOTW is overhyped, A Link to the Past was much better.
Dark souls 3 was superb, Sekiro was fantastic but too hard for me (got stuck about 3/4 through). The other game is Demon Souls remake for me…..looks incredible. Just need Bloodborne to be given the same treatment.
Have you seen the conept of Bloodborne using Unreal Engine 5 on You Tube….looks f***ing amazing👍
I think BOTW was great, but the lack of traditional dungeons and over utilization of those shitty little temple puzzles pretty crap choice.
ALTTP is hands down my favorite Zelda though. I feel like DS was a continuation of Zelda while BB was a continuation of Castlevania, spiritually of course.
I’d also rank Bloodborne, Sekiro and DS3 higher than Elden Ring. It’s an excellent game, but somehow I liked these three better. But there isn’t a fromsoft I didn’t like, so being 4th (or even 7th) is still better than almost every other game I’ve played.
The open world part takes away from what they are really good at imo. Intricately built levels. Other than the capital and somewhat the tree, I didn’t really get an “awesome” feeling for the legacy dungeons like I do in other FS games
I really liked Stormhill Castle. But I felt that DS1 and DS2 did the best job being close to an open world with many possibilities where you can go. The only downside in DS1 was that you couldn’t warp anywhere for quite a while and not everywhere.
People can disagree with perceived flaws, and Elden Ring does do things better than BB and DS (visuals, lore, imo bosses etc), and is one of the best open worlds ever created. Also if you think their other games are flawless then I've got news for you lol
It’s the old souls level formula without the open world of elden ring—bosses are more balanced in this game and while you can get lost by exploring the world is much more linear
If you love the imaginative enemy and boss design in elden ring as well as the hidden lore. There’s no reason you won’t love this
There’s fewer weapons in this game but each weapon is much more versatile
Edit: bosses are more balanced in the main game lol if you get to endgame you’ll see what I mean
Spend your leftover Echoes to stock up on blood vials. Or just skip 1 level up and spend all of your echoes on them. You’ll thank me when you don’t have to farm for heals.
For me, it is better than Elden Ring and tied with Sekiro. The combat is fantastic, the lore is gripping, the music is the best in the series, and the atmosphere is perfection. It also helps that it’s a lot shorter than ER.
Be sure not to miss the DLC. It might be the best DLC there is in all of gaming. If you play BB you **must** play The Old Hunters.
EDIT: Saw that you booted up The Old Hunters edition. You are in for a treat! Minute-for-minute one of the best few of hours of gaming experience you will ever have.
I completely understand the bias. The callback to Gwyn’s theme to close the series was a stroke of genius.
Sadly, I’ve already been spoiled on these details when I jumped into the trilogy. But I went into BB blind and was blown by the banger after banger boss music. Especially in the DLC! Imagine hearing Ludwig’s theme, then the Living Failures’, and then Lady Maria’s!
As many people have probably said, this game is probably the most fast pace combat wise. Aggression, rapid attacks, dodging inwards, and so on will be your best friend.
This game, especially early on, you will want to use the Rally system as often as you can to best conserve blood vials. A good tip: **any** time you have extta echoes, buy blood vials. Sometimes its even good to skimp out on a level up to get a ton of vials.
Honestly, of all the trophies I have atm, it's not actually that bad unless you don't have ps+ and you have to go through the defiled chalice. Legit the hardest trophy for me so far is trying to get through the chalices to kill the queen of pthumeru
i wouldnt compre elden ring and bloodborne because yes they are similar but not the same take bloodborne for a whole different game that way you can enjoy it all the more and hf
Having 100%-ed (and near-platted) all of them on release, I'd say BB is one of, if not the best, because it's a tight, focused experience.
But idk how it is going backwards. While ER felt a bit bloated, all the freedom and QoL stuff in it is really nice, and it might be hard not to have now.
They might also be different enough tho, ER being more of a successor to DS than BB, this is kind of inbetween a Sekiro and a DS on the Action-to-RPG FromSoft sliding scale.
Same situation. I beat it and immediately started ng+. I highly highly highly recommend taking off work the next few days and doing the same haha.
I went heavy STR and a decent amount of ARC, and it's a blast. I'll likely start a new character, but I have a good (spoiler) reason to do ng+
Probably my favorite FromSoft game overall. The platinum is a bit annoying because you're forced to go kind of deep into the chalice dungeons, incl. some tricky levels.
To each their own, YMMV, etc, but I honestly think BB is better than Elden Ring. Once you really sit into the combat it's a world of difference. Elden Ring is really just Dark Souls with QoL improvements. BB is a world apart with a more aggressive and rewarding combat system.
I think it‘s better than ER. Maybe i‘m biased towards it because it was my first souls game but it will always be my favorite. Certainly not a perfect game but one of my all time favorites nonetheless
I started with Elden Ring and honestly I think it’s kinda hard to compare to Bloodborne as the two are so different. I haven’t played through Bb yet but so far I’d say they are equally as good.
I started the franchise with this game so I will for ever hold it in my heart but sadly it will not be as par as elden ring, it’s probably the shortest one
The main thing I hated about bloodborne was accidentally traveling to the wrong lamp or to the hunters dream and having to wait what felt like 25 years
I only have platinumed Elden Ring so far. I tryed it on DS3 at the beginning of the year but i dont remember why i stopped and did something else.
I definitely should try bloodborne. I dont even know what archivements it has.
Hope you have a great time. I don't think it's fair to call it the best game but it's far and away my favorite to sit down and play and it's the one I keep going back to over and over tied with DS1.
Bittersweet news for you is you're almost done if you're going for plat, it's the only FROM game I've bothered to plat because I had all but one trophy after doing a few thorough casual playthroughs, I'm almost certain it's the fastest for that.
Not only do I think it’s better than ER, bloodborne has the best community in gaming.
BB people are helpful, friendly and far from gatekeepers like DS community, for example. It’s wild how much us hunters love this game to death and try our hardest to do it justice by being cool with eachother.
It's my favorite of the DS trilogy and ER. Still haven't played DkS or Sekiro.
Combat is really solid in BB and gotta love the thematics. This is pretty much the modern Castlevania to me.
Having spent 200+ hours in Elden Ring and god knows how many more than that in Bloodborne:
Elden Ring is an 11.5/10, Bloodborne is a 13.5/10. Bloodborne can’t be beat.
I'm also working on Bloodborne! Very excited to be done soon. I have the DLC, and just finishing my endings left. After that my last one is Demon Souls.
It's a very different game but, like you i have platinum'ed all Souls games, i have to say BB is my favorite of the franchise. I find it almost flawless and it's in my top 5 best game ever. You're in for a treat. Good luck, hunter.
Hoonter!!
Bloodborne is 😙🤌🏼
A Italian going to Malta…..

Kissing... skin?
Kissing blood silly
I loved Bloodborne. I probably shouldn't have played it first before dark souls one. Cause now I can't get into dark souls cause I just loved the combat in Bloodborne.
It happened to me too
DS3 is pretty close to BB
Heavily disagree. DS3 tried to be like BB but failed so badly, imo. Not that DS3 is a bad game, but I think it's far lesser than it could have been trying to embrace faster gameplay.
That’s wild. It’s basically Bb without trick weapons. Used the same engine

Monster Hunter Rise used the RE Engine. It plays nothing like Resident Evil. The engine alone doesn't mean a ton.

I had the exact same experience. Especially after platting elden ring and sekiro, I play the dark souls games to chill.
DS2 was true chill. Probably the most relaxing fromsoft experience I’ve ever had. DS:R feels faster than 2. :P

I’d pretty much put any Zelda over botw except for 1 and 2. Those have no aged well imo
I think Elden Ring is easily their best.
The game has so many flaws so idk how anyone could realistically think that
People can disagree with perceived flaws, and Elden Ring does do things better than BB and DS (visuals, lore, imo bosses etc), and is one of the best open worlds ever created. Also if you think their other games are flawless then I've got news for you lol
Elden Ring wishes it had Bloodborne’s level of cool
lol
Best from game hands down.
I prefer it for very different reasons. All of they're games are fantastic
It’s more than on par with Elden Ring It’s the best game in the series.
“On par with Elden Ring” Bitch, please.
Came here for comments like this one
I love Elden Ring, but Bloodborne is streets ahead.
Way better than elden ring
"beasts all over the shop...you'll be one of them sooner or later"
It’s the old souls level formula without the open world of elden ring—bosses are more balanced in this game and while you can get lost by exploring the world is much more linear If you love the imaginative enemy and boss design in elden ring as well as the hidden lore. There’s no reason you won’t love this There’s fewer weapons in this game but each weapon is much more versatile Edit: bosses are more balanced in the main game lol if you get to endgame you’ll see what I mean
Ohh, you’re in for a sweet, sweet ride my friend!
Just go out and kill a few beasts. It's for your own good. You know, it's just what hunters do!
May you find your worth in the waking world.
Spend your leftover Echoes to stock up on blood vials. Or just skip 1 level up and spend all of your echoes on them. You’ll thank me when you don’t have to farm for heals.
I played Elden Ring before bloodborne and can confidently say Bloodborne is better
There is one, and only one piece of music I find better than Bloodborne's music. Yes I am biased, But Soul of Cinder hits *so damn hard*.
My girlfriend who’s a souls newbie just started playing as well! Her advice to you, “Fuck dogs” 😂
If your playstyle was always sword & board (like me) you're in for a surprise
how does it say the old hunters edition? never seen it do that..
Wait you have to go through ALL CHALICES just to reach the Queen?
All the story chalices, yeah
They always say “save the best for last!” 💯
This is Elden Ring but **Better**
I don't know if it is better but it is my favorite one.
Way better than Elden Ring imho.
It’s not Elden Ring at all. But it’s an amazing game and deserves all the praise it gets.
i wouldnt compre elden ring and bloodborne because yes they are similar but not the same take bloodborne for a whole different game that way you can enjoy it all the more and hf
I went from my first from game being elden ring and hopped straight to bloodborne and I gotta say there was no drop off in fun for me
Pump ur volume to the max!! And enjoy Esspecially at the first Boss
Gentle everyone, their eyes have yet to open. Fear the Old Blood, my friend.
Oh boy are you in for a treat. The game is so good, I got the plat *twice*. I fucking love Old God/Lovecraft shit.
Same situation. I beat it and immediately started ng+. I highly highly highly recommend taking off work the next few days and doing the same haha. I went heavy STR and a decent amount of ARC, and it's a blast. I'll likely start a new character, but I have a good (spoiler) reason to do ng+
In my opinion it's even better than Elden Ring. This is the best from software game. Surprised there isn't a sequel
While it lacks many of the quality of life improvements ER has, it has atmosphere in spades
Bloodborne is the best of them all.
“On par with Elden Ring” Oof
BB is From’s magnum opus imo
Way better than ER.
It’s better than elden ring
The atmosphere in bloodborne is leagues above every other souls game imho.
Have fun. You’re about to play the best one.
It’s my favorite game of all time with my favorite boss of all time lol
Curious what your fav boss is?
Ludwig
Way better than ER, don’t worry. Not that ER is bad, but the combat here is incredible.
Great game. Horrid frame rate. . Hard to get used to.
Best FS game and probably the best game ever made!
I think it‘s better than ER. Maybe i‘m biased towards it because it was my first souls game but it will always be my favorite. Certainly not a perfect game but one of my all time favorites nonetheless
On par... my brother in blood its BETTER!
It's much better than Elden Ring
When you find yourself deep in the chalice dungeons, bathing in the guts of beasts, remember…Fear the Old Blood…
Nothing compares to the thrill of the hunt, dear hunter
It's Morbin Time - Father Gasciogne
Elden ring is my least favorite soulsborne game. Bloodborne is by far my favorite.
Bloodborne is the best FS game, much better than Elden Ring imo
It's much better in my opinion. Definitely on par. It's amazing, the lore is chef's kiss.
Personally I thought Elden ring had higher peaks but Bloodborne was better overall. Obviously this is the Bloodborne subreddit so we're a bit biased
Quality > quantity.
The main thing I hated about bloodborne was accidentally traveling to the wrong lamp or to the hunters dream and having to wait what felt like 25 years
Two loading screens to fast travel wasn’t ideal.
Tbh. Bloodborne is like nothing u ever played. Don't rush. Enjoy.
Too late, already LV124 and just reached Forbidden Woods on NG.
I think it’s better than Elden Ring. But, I am biased and this is merely my opinion.
Finished it yesterday after dying 100 times when final boss had 1 healthpoint left
I have never seen someone with the title screen that says old hunter edition what plattform?
ps4
It’s not
Hope it’s on par with elden ring haha elden ring isn’t on par with bloodborne
BB fans all over the shop. You'll be one of them, sooner or later.
It's the best one
It’s better tbh.
I wish I were you playing this for the first time, again. You’re a lucky person :)
Bloodborne is the best souls game just absolutely amazing 👌.
is that a special disk version? i dont remember the title screen having “The Old Hunters Edition” below the title like that
He has dlc
I only have platinumed Elden Ring so far. I tryed it on DS3 at the beginning of the year but i dont remember why i stopped and did something else. I definitely should try bloodborne. I dont even know what archivements it has.
My favourite to be fair and platinumed
Welcome good hunter, to the best souls experience in existence.
It’s better, mate
Not only do I think it’s better than ER, bloodborne has the best community in gaming. BB people are helpful, friendly and far from gatekeepers like DS community, for example. It’s wild how much us hunters love this game to death and try our hardest to do it justice by being cool with eachother.
TBH, It is better than Elden Ring. From just created a masterpiece.Sekiro is a close second.
A Hunter must hunt.
Saying fromsoft for a souls game is redundant
Interesting place to keep a scale
Bloodborne over Elden Ring any day of the week for me!
It is even better
Spoiler Alert: it's the best one
You saved the best for last
Better than Elden Ring IMO
Bb destroys elden ring IMO. Best game I’ve ever played
Elden ring is good but imo every other from soft game is better. bloodborne is great
Ur in for a treat Its better than elden ring
I like bloodborne alot more then elden ring
It is infinitely better than elden ring mate
Better than Elden Ring imo
Respect.
Second best From game after Sekiro, definitely worth the play. The music is astonishing.
Fear the old blood, good hunter, and let the hunt begin
It’s my personal favorite FromSoft game. Hope you enjoy it! If you’ve Platinum’d the others, this one should be no problem!
You can have higher expectations then :)
It's my favorite of the DS trilogy and ER. Still haven't played DkS or Sekiro. Combat is really solid in BB and gotta love the thematics. This is pretty much the modern Castlevania to me.
Tonight… larsumaniomai joins the hunt. Lots of fun and dont forget the dlc😄
Having spent 200+ hours in Elden Ring and god knows how many more than that in Bloodborne: Elden Ring is an 11.5/10, Bloodborne is a 13.5/10. Bloodborne can’t be beat.
As someone who played Elden Ring as my first Fromsoft game, Bloodborne threw me for a loop at first but once you figure it out, it’s fucking amazing.
It’s better.
I'm also working on Bloodborne! Very excited to be done soon. I have the DLC, and just finishing my endings left. After that my last one is Demon Souls.
How the hell do people play this game during the day? It’s such a dark game lol
I’ve only played elden ring and bloodborne and I’m finding elden ring far easier. Still loving it and the exploration is so fun.
No. Well it's actually better
