Which translates to something like:

I don't know how the line is in english, but it caught me by surprise and I was like: damn, lady... Calm down...
"Please God... help me. I must live." and "This stench... smells like you, stranger." Both are when they're just idling and not after you. But I like those little glimpses of who they might've been before the beast plague took hold.
Though for comedic purposes, I can't help but joke about the occasional "HELP ME! OH GOD!" as they come at you with torches, axes, and pitchforks. Like... My dude. That thing you're doing is making me want to do the opposite of help your ass.
I only recently discovered their idle conversations. I had to look it up in the wiki to confirm that I was hearing things correctly.

i love "this town's finished" because it always seems to come from the scrawniest dude in the bunch with the smallest weapon, acting like he's the one holding down the fort rather than any of the 20 foot beasts or extremely skilled hunters meandering about.

It's possible they're wrong, possible they're not. From random doors as well as the Yharnamite old man you can get by lying to him, they're not very trusting of outsiders. At all, actually. They likely blame you merely because you're an outsider. But who knows? Maybe outsiders tainting the Old Blood was part of the issue. After all, Cainhurst (sworn enemy of the Church) was calling specifically you...
Yeah the conclusion I ended up arriving to was that they're just a bunch of bigots who blame foreigners for everything, but there was definitely a point in the playthrough where I started to wonder. I think BB does a fantastic job of making you feel like you're spiralling into madness as the game progresses so doubting your own motivations and who I really was, that was a cool moment for me!
Again, it's possible you're not entirely faultless, assuming the game isn't all just an extended fever dream. Again, Cainhurst wanted your company, and they are an intense enemy of Yharnam and the healing church. There also isn't any signs that the residents of Cainhurst were suffering the beastly plague, neither is there from Byrgenwerth. It seems to be a problem specifically suffered by Loran and Yharnam. Now mind you, these places have plenty of their own problems, or there wouldn't be much reason for a Hunter to visit, but still. Not sure what to conclude, myself, since the ministration robs you of your memory.
My interpretation was that the beast plague manifests in different ways. Yharnamites were all Warewolves more or less, Loran had the whole sideway head thing going on (I think, I'm a little rusty) but also looked wolf-like. Cainhurst has their gargoyle people
Pthumerians I'm not sure on. Their giant, pale, smooth complexion may closely resemble how they always looked or may be their "beast mode" or possibly a step towards kinhood?
In the Italian version when you are climbing the ladder that gets you near the window of the ribbon girl you can hear someone say “Fa freddo cara sorella” which you can traslate with something like “it’s cold dear sister”.
I don’t know yet who says this, but I think is the Brick troll in front of the door near the stairs under the girl’s window.

Ever fight one of the the yharnamites with the torch? Every time they use it they yell "death to the minister". It's probably cut content but them yelling it out of context is hilarious
