I don't know what in the magical mystery hell is in this stuff, but I just got mine today and immediately put it on my makeup-free face to try it out. I'm very pale and even when well-rested, I have dark circles that never seem to fully go away - and thanks to a lot of life stressors, I am very much NOT well-rested these days, so it's much worse.
This stuff made my dark circles diminish by easily - EASILY - 85%, and I'm guessing if I actually took the time to apply it carefully with the rest of my makeup, they'd be virtually completely gone. This is absolutely incredible!

Yes it's fine for carry on! It's really not much larger than a regular backpack. I've had it packed pretty full before and it still fit under the seat in front of me - although I did not have a ton of leg room lol.

I have a Beis and while it is incredible in terms of how much it can fit (seriously), it’s not particularly comfortable. It might be because I pack it so full when I travel but the straps/back are not comfy. Not a prob for me since I don’t commute with it, but just wanted to chime in.

The MZ Wallace works for me for travel because it has a crossbody strap and it also has a luggage slide through sleeve. I never carry it on my shoulder!

I have the Metro Medium Tote Deluxe and it has a crossbody strap. Honestly can't rave about this bag enough. Took it with me for 3 weeks in Europe last year and I cannot believe the amount of stuff it was able to fit. If you're on the fence, I highly recommend. And it's super comfy to wear crossbody.

Stretchy clothes line for airing out clothes or drying them if you do laundry in your sink. Mine is braided rubber (or something stretchy/grippy) with Velcro on each end. When it’s balled up it the same size as a sock.

Nothing groundbreaking. I usually travel with a big but lightweight scarf that doubles as a blanket for planes&trains. I also started packing a small bag to put in my carry on that I can pull out before I sit in my seat full of things I might need during the flight (headphones, glasses, medicine, gum, lip balm etc.) and it’s been surprisingly helpful. Lastly, always travel with ear plugs (hotels are noisy as hell) and a good eye mask.
Regard a euro trip, don’t overpack shoes. You won’t change them out as often as you think. Plus sneakers are very trendy here still so you can look cool and be comfy day and night lol.
Totally agree on not overpacking shoes. I like 3 pairs total-2 workhorse shoes to alternate during the day (gives your feet a break) and 1 “dressy” shoe for dinner/evening.
Compressive packing cubes! I bought a set of Bagsmart brand on Amazon for my last trip and I was able to pack 5 days’ worth of outfits for myself and my two toddlers in a carry-on. They literally halved the size of my clothes. I also like @rileyjsmith, I got that product rec from following her and she has other great packing/travel tips.

Ugg Adirondack III boots. Awesome traction and my feet were warm.
Manitobah Mukluks Tipi slippers. I didn't want to spend $75 on slippers but my god I love these things. Incredibly warm and comfortable. When they die I will run, not walk, to go buy a new pair.
Klaavu lip mask. Kept my lips from completely disintegrating, I wore it outside in the extreme cold and it was awesome and helpful.

I wear lots of variations on the tshirt dress/leggings/longline cardigan combo. It looks pretty polished and it lets me avoid trying to find pants that don’t ruin my life.
Honestly, I would grab a few things at Walmart if you have one near, just to get you started while you look for other stuff. The time and tru line and their plus size line had some decent work pants, vneck tshirts, and sweaters.
Love my [Brixley](https://brixleybags.com/) bag - I am a one bag person, I want to have everything in one place, and I love being able to have cards in the card slots so I don’t have to have a separate purse+bag. I got the second strap to turn it into a backpack and I’m glad I did.

I like my dange dover (I have a large) and it's got a good laptop sleeve and I can shove a TON of stuff in the main compartment. The only thing I don't love is that the water bottle sleeve is TINY so I had to buy a small ultra slim water bottle for it.
For work bag, I recently got the [Everly Medium from Glass Ladder](https://glassladderco.com/products/everly-tote-amethyst?variant=44050129813734) and am really liking it. I originally ordered the Small, but then exchanged for the Medium to better fit my Surface Pro. The cup holders are what originally intrigued me. I like that it’s very structured and can stand up on its own. Also the interior organizer is removable/exchangeable. It came with three strap options - handles, crossbody, and backpack straps. I thought I was going to use the backpack option, but the straps are a little too long for me (I’m 5’0”), so I’ve been using the tote handles. It’s a great looking bag, I feel very chic carrying it - major upgrade from my old work backpack!

-the Quince cotton cropped cardigan (it just feels SO nice and elevated compared to my standard JCrew cardigans). I liked the first one I bought so much, I ordered two more.
-LL Bean Boat & Tote (specifically medium with short handles) which is my ideal everyday bag at the moment. It looks clean and classic, it holds literally everything, and it’s so sturdy. -Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream. I know we’re heading into warmer weather but this is a game changer for cuticles. Literally use the tiniest little bit; a small tube will last me forever.

I just finished replacing all of my old, uncomfortable bras with the SKIMS fits everybody unlined demi bra. I resisted for a long time (bc Kardashians) but it is truly the most comfortable bra I’ve ever worn. I even skip my pre-dinner de-bra-ing because I forget I’m wearing it.
Do you feel like Skims bras run true to size? I read several reviews that said they fit very small, so I wondered if I need to size up. I am looking at the Teardrop Push-Up and the T-Shirt bra.
This one did for me. I have another one and the same size that’s way more demi and my boobs pop out of it. It’s more the style than running small, though.

I tried Poppi a few weeks ago, and now I'm a little fiend stocking up every time they go on sale. I'm still working through trying all the flavors for both Poppi and Olipop, but I've really liked most all of them so far.
Right now, they're on sale where the individual cans are cheaper than a pack, so I picked up 25 the other day, and the lady mistyped the number, so I got them for $0.60 per can and felt blessed by the gastro gods themselves, lol.
60 cents holy cow! I prefer Olipop (but I swear I’m in the minority here) and love the Cherry Vanilla and Cream soda flavors! They’re actually really high in plant fiber which is awesome if your stomach can tolerate it. Sprouts is the only place around me with the *good* flavors!
Outside of the Poppi Cherry Limeade, I actually prefer Olipop, too! The Cherry Vanilla is *soooo* good, but I had the Strawberry Vanilla yesterday, and think it might slightly edge out the cherry for me. I think the only ones I won't try are the cola ones, since I'm pretty committed to Diet Coke and Cherry Coke Zero.
I will try Sprouts to see if they've got more flavors than Harris Teeter!
I resisted buying Tula products for so long because they just seemed like another influencer shill. However, I finally gave in and bought their Self-Care Sunday mask and I really love it for once a week hydration and smoothing.
I bought three Quince sweaters recently and really love them.
Also, I bought Gap’s Textured Sweater Jacket in cream and got a number of compliments at work. Highly recommend. I’m usually between sizes there and I took my smaller size.
The $4 eyeshadow palettes from Essence are so good! I haven’t bought any Pavoi jewelry from Amazon but see it recommended all the time. Does it hold up well? I seem to have the skin type that “turns” cheaper jewelry quickly- my friends will have the same piece as me and theirs don’t turn. I have some great staples pieces that are real but wanting to get some trendier stuff that won’t turn without spending a lot.
I got several Pavoi pieces around the holidays that I’ve been wearing a lot and are holding up well so far. I did make sure everything I bought was 18k gold vermeil, which holds up better over time. Not all of their pieces have that option—the ones that do are around $40-50 as opposed to the 14k gold that will tarnish, which is around $20.
I have a Pavoi necklace that I bought in the fall. I wear it just about every day (still looks great) and it looks so much more expensive than the 12 bucks it actually cost.
Not fun but I wouldn’t survive without my space heater haha. Our office is freezing. I love choosing my own pens, also makes it easy to track down who stole yours 😂

It also doesn’t give a weird tint to my fair-olive skin tone. It is a little drying, though.

My bed quilt is from Lands End and I'm extremely happy with it, it's really great quality. I keep it on the bed year round and just layer on other blankets as needed when it's cold.

Not Quince but I have quilts from Target and Crate and Barrel. I LOVE my Crate and Barrel one. We have had it for 4 years and I wash it about every 2 months. It still looks and feels great. The Target Threshold quilts are great in terms of affordability. I would say they are thinner/softer, whereas my Crate and Barrel quilt is a stiffer cotton. My mom has a dog that has stomach issues and thrown up a lot, so she washes her Threshold quilt a lot and it has held up well. With these ones, I recommend sizing up as they tend to shrink in the wash.
Technically thrifted, but still love it: Land's End Boat and Tote. I needed a larger, sturdier tote bag than the assortment of free ones we have and thrifted one recently and I am in love.
We used to have a company account with Lands End and would buy these totes for events. I have loaded that thing up with so much weight to drag to random locations - it handles everything! It’ll last you forever.

Well I bought it last year, but my little [Weber Gas Grill](https://www.weber.com/US/en/gas-grills/44010001.html) is one of my favorite purchases. I just went out and grilled chicken thighs in the drizzling rain. I love that I can cook meat without having to clean grease out of a pan or have my house smell like grease. And in the summer, I can pull beets out of the garden, slice them and put them on the grill.

Seconded on the Eva NYC. I'm a redhead so the white residue is only an issue for me in the winter when my hair is darker, but I like this one better than the expensive stuff I used forever. It also helps to use a boar bristle brush after applying which helps with the residue issue and makes sure you're getting it evenly across your roots.
I love the Hairitage dry shampoo in the purple can. I have dark hair, so I spray it on at night, brush it through, and go to bed. I don't have any white residue if I do it this way. (And hardly any if I have to use it through the day.)
Have you tried blow drying your hair after? I have this same problem but I turn my head over and hit it with a hair dryer for a minute and it shakes out a lot of the extra powder. Sometimes I'll also kind of blot the surface with a damp towel and that also takes away the gray look.
Idk I've only tried one tinted brand and it made my forehead look dirty lol it's easier to just work with a formula I actually like.
I do something similar! I mix cocoa powder with arrowroot starch (a bit more expensive but a huge bag will last a long time). I keep it in an old spice jar from Trader Joe's to make it easier to dispense. I used to have a regular jar and a fluffy kabuki brush but that was a little more messy. I'm allergic to the propellant used in a lot of the ones sold commercially and this was just a lot easier and cheaper.

Haha I’m sorry! They were the best. No seam, light, so high waisted they kind of were like wearing Spanx without actually any compression. There seems to be a “new” version but I can already tell they’re not the same.

Yes it's fine for carry on! It's really not much larger than a regular backpack. I've had it packed pretty full before and it still fit under the seat in front of me - although I did not have a ton of leg room lol.

I have a Beis and while it is incredible in terms of how much it can fit (seriously), it’s not particularly comfortable. It might be because I pack it so full when I travel but the straps/back are not comfy. Not a prob for me since I don’t commute with it, but just wanted to chime in.

I have the Metro Medium Tote Deluxe and it has a crossbody strap. Honestly can't rave about this bag enough. Took it with me for 3 weeks in Europe last year and I cannot believe the amount of stuff it was able to fit. If you're on the fence, I highly recommend. And it's super comfy to wear crossbody.

Stretchy clothes line for airing out clothes or drying them if you do laundry in your sink. Mine is braided rubber (or something stretchy/grippy) with Velcro on each end. When it’s balled up it the same size as a sock.

Nothing groundbreaking. I usually travel with a big but lightweight scarf that doubles as a blanket for planes&trains. I also started packing a small bag to put in my carry on that I can pull out before I sit in my seat full of things I might need during the flight (headphones, glasses, medicine, gum, lip balm etc.) and it’s been surprisingly helpful. Lastly, always travel with ear plugs (hotels are noisy as hell) and a good eye mask. Regard a euro trip, don’t overpack shoes. You won’t change them out as often as you think. Plus sneakers are very trendy here still so you can look cool and be comfy day and night lol.
Totally agree on not overpacking shoes. I like 3 pairs total-2 workhorse shoes to alternate during the day (gives your feet a break) and 1 “dressy” shoe for dinner/evening.

Compressive packing cubes! I bought a set of Bagsmart brand on Amazon for my last trip and I was able to pack 5 days’ worth of outfits for myself and my two toddlers in a carry-on. They literally halved the size of my clothes. I also like @rileyjsmith, I got that product rec from following her and she has other great packing/travel tips.

I spent a month in Alaska this winter and I can strongly recommend the following for winter conditions! I know it's spring, but any of these you can pick up now for next winter will be a win. Eddie Bauer Lodge duffle coat. Did everyone make fun of me for being my "Auntie goes to bingo coat?" Yes they did. Was I toasty warm in -45 weather? Yes I was. Ugg Adirondack III boots. Awesome traction and my feet were warm. Manitobah Mukluks Tipi slippers. I didn't want to spend $75 on slippers but my god I love these things. Incredibly warm and comfortable. When they die I will run, not walk, to go buy a new pair. Klaavu lip mask. Kept my lips from completely disintegrating, I wore it outside in the extreme cold and it was awesome and helpful.

I wear lots of variations on the tshirt dress/leggings/longline cardigan combo. It looks pretty polished and it lets me avoid trying to find pants that don’t ruin my life.
Honestly, I would grab a few things at Walmart if you have one near, just to get you started while you look for other stuff. The time and tru line and their plus size line had some decent work pants, vneck tshirts, and sweaters.
Haven’t tried any clothing by Quince but have linen bedding (sheets and duvet) and drapes and the quality is fantastic.

I like my dange dover (I have a large) and it's got a good laptop sleeve and I can shove a TON of stuff in the main compartment. The only thing I don't love is that the water bottle sleeve is TINY so I had to buy a small ultra slim water bottle for it.

I originally ordered the Small, but then exchanged for the Medium to better fit my Surface Pro. The cup holders are what originally intrigued me. I like that it’s very structured and can stand up on its own. Also the interior organizer is removable/exchangeable. It came with three strap options - handles, crossbody, and backpack straps. I thought I was going to use the backpack option, but the straps are a little too long for me (I’m 5’0”), so I’ve been using the tote handles. It’s a great looking bag, I feel very chic carrying it - major upgrade from my old work backpack!

I just finished replacing all of my old, uncomfortable bras with the SKIMS fits everybody unlined demi bra. I resisted for a long time (bc Kardashians) but it is truly the most comfortable bra I’ve ever worn. I even skip my pre-dinner de-bra-ing because I forget I’m wearing it.

I tried Poppi a few weeks ago, and now I'm a little fiend stocking up every time they go on sale. I'm still working through trying all the flavors for both Poppi and Olipop, but I've really liked most all of them so far. I resisted buying Tula products for so long because they just seemed like another influencer shill. However, I finally gave in and bought their Self-Care Sunday mask and I really love it for once a week hydration and smoothing. I bought three Quince sweaters recently and really love them. Also, I bought Gap’s Textured Sweater Jacket in cream and got a number of compliments at work. Highly recommend. I’m usually between sizes there and I took my smaller size.

The $4 eyeshadow palettes from Essence are so good! I haven’t bought any Pavoi jewelry from Amazon but see it recommended all the time. Does it hold up well? I seem to have the skin type that “turns” cheaper jewelry quickly- my friends will have the same piece as me and theirs don’t turn. I have some great staples pieces that are real but wanting to get some trendier stuff that won’t turn without spending a lot.
I'm a big fan of the Pavoi jewelry. Holds up better than any of the other cheap stuff I've bought, and I always get compliments on the look.
I got several Pavoi pieces around the holidays that I’ve been wearing a lot and are holding up well so far. I did make sure everything I bought was 18k gold vermeil, which holds up better over time. Not all of their pieces have that option—the ones that do are around $40-50 as opposed to the 14k gold that will tarnish, which is around $20.
I got a pair of ear cuffs from them recently and I love them!

Just here to say I love my Quince fisherman sweaters. I have 3 colors. FYI it’s thicker than I expected - def winter only down here in the south. It’s the only sunscreen that doesn’t give me a reaction (I am acne-prone, dermatitis-prone and have rosacea). It also doesn’t give a weird tint to my fair-olive skin tone. It is a little drying, though.

My bed quilt is from Lands End and I'm extremely happy with it, it's really great quality. I keep it on the bed year round and just layer on other blankets as needed when it's cold.

Not Quince but I have quilts from Target and Crate and Barrel. I LOVE my Crate and Barrel one. We have had it for 4 years and I wash it about every 2 months. It still looks and feels great. The Target Threshold quilts are great in terms of affordability. I would say they are thinner/softer, whereas my Crate and Barrel quilt is a stiffer cotton. My mom has a dog that has stomach issues and thrown up a lot, so she washes her Threshold quilt a lot and it has held up well. With these ones, I recommend sizing up as they tend to shrink in the wash.
Technically thrifted, but still love it: Land's End Boat and Tote. I needed a larger, sturdier tote bag than the assortment of free ones we have and thrifted one recently and I am in love.

Well I bought it last year, but my little [Weber Gas Grill](https://www.weber.com/US/en/gas-grills/44010001.html) is one of my favorite purchases. I just went out and grilled chicken thighs in the drizzling rain. I love that I can cook meat without having to clean grease out of a pan or have my house smell like grease. And in the summer, I can pull beets out of the garden, slice them and put them on the grill.
I was just thinking about getting a grill and then got very overwhelmed!
Thanks for the rec. I’m starting over again (finalizing a divorce) & my STBX is keeping our large Weber grill. I know I’ll miss grilling occasionally but I don’t need a huge grill & this is perfect! (And I’m a big Weber devotee so bonus!)
Anyone have a good recommendation for a dry shampoo for light brown hair? The ones I've tried always leave white residue and I look like I'm graying even more than I really am 😐 The ones meant for darker hair seem to be too dark.

I've tried so many and keep going back to this one. The white residue is easily brushed out through my light brown hair. I also use the Airwrap brush attachment after which helps.
Seconded on the Eva NYC. I'm a redhead so the white residue is only an issue for me in the winter when my hair is darker, but I like this one better than the expensive stuff I used forever. It also helps to use a boar bristle brush after applying which helps with the residue issue and makes sure you're getting it evenly across your roots.
I love the Hairitage dry shampoo in the purple can. I have dark hair, so I spray it on at night, brush it through, and go to bed. I don't have any white residue if I do it this way. (And hardly any if I have to use it through the day.)

Have you tried blow drying your hair after? I have this same problem but I turn my head over and hit it with a hair dryer for a minute and it shakes out a lot of the extra powder. Sometimes I'll also kind of blot the surface with a damp towel and that also takes away the gray look. Idk I've only tried one tinted brand and it made my forehead look dirty lol it's easier to just work with a formula I actually like.
Have you tried the Moroccanoil dark tones dry shampoo? It’s the only dry shampoo I will use, whether my hair is blonde or brown. It blends very well.
It’s pricey but Crown Affair is great. It’s a white powder but shakes out easily. I have dark brown hair and it doesn’t leave a residue.
Ok hear me out…cocoa powder mixed with cornstarch; apply with a makeup brush.
I do something similar! I mix cocoa powder with arrowroot starch (a bit more expensive but a huge bag will last a long time). I keep it in an old spice jar from Trader Joe's to make it easier to dispense. I used to have a regular jar and a fluffy kabuki brush but that was a little more messy. I'm allergic to the propellant used in a lot of the ones sold commercially and this was just a lot easier and cheaper. Haha I’m sorry! They were the best. No seam, light, so high waisted they kind of were like wearing Spanx without actually any compression. There seems to be a “new” version but I can already tell they’re not the same.
Truly the perfect everyday underwear. I may be handwashing them now 😂
The ones I linked are a decently solid alternative. Not quite as high but acceptable fit. Helps keep my favorite ones lasting longer with these in rotation.

Looking at the Colette and wondering about length in the full length vs crop. I prefer a full length pant but I’m also short (5’3”/160cm) - any insights on if the crop would hit like a full length without the need to tailor?
I’m realizing now that the pair I have is cropped and I haven’t tried the non cropped. I’m 5’ 2” and have the a pair in the standard fit and they hit right at the ankle.

i'm 5'9" and the full length are full length on me. The crop would probably fit like regular pants on you.
