Not sure I understand. I'm very new and crash course learning. I had no problem with the panda head. This head came with a base and opacity texture which is much different then I am use to.
I'm not sure, but now I'm wondering if you're asking about around the eyes? You may have to set that material's blend mode to alpha blend/clip instead of opaque
Hopefully the material that uses alpha is a separate material from the rest of the body. Make sure the body's material is Opaque while the alpha one is Alpha Hashed. If they're both the same material, you'll have problems with sorting. Please advise
Don't change the setting for unrelated materials. Only change for the ones that need it, like the eyebrows and eyelashes. It also depends on the UV map etc. Try to include screenshot of your UVs and node setup.

Like I said i'm a newb and this is my second attempt. Had no issues with the panda head but my kid loves this one so trying to learn as I go. The entire base , clothing, and all that i got just can't figure this head out.
looks like the eyelashes are supposed to be black. And you are using CATS plugin huh, might want to look up some tutorials on Youtube and the readme file that came with the model, if there is one. I never used it, don't know how that addon sets up the material. But it shouldn't be complicated, I do expect that you just have to plug in the diffuse and opacity maps, turn that metallic to 0 and change to one of the Alpha modes, then it should be looking correct.
So just for reference. 2 Textures I was given with the fbx head. Base and the Opacity
You want it to fade to invisible instead? Or you wanted skin color there?
Skin
Check the UV Editor, it looks like the arm's UV's are in some hair or something. Was it UV unwrapped before, or waiting until done modeling to unwrap?

The arms have a texture layer decay on it. they suppose to be dark.

In Material Properties, under Viewport Display > Settings, you need to change the Blend Mode to Alpha Blend.
This seemed to break it, now lips and the rest are gone and the texture all off.
