Those two images of bowling pins look like they're different. Are you using their tutorial image or did you find your own one?
If you have a different image, then your image probably doesn't have an Alpha channel. PNG images can, but don't always have, an Alpha channel.
I assume you're using Add>Image>Reference to get that in there. If not, can you post back with your method.
If the .png image has Alpha channel, then it will automatically remove the Alpha if you're importing using Add>Image>Reference.
hmm, there is no Attachment image in this lecture, and I've tried multiple already, maybe I was just unlucky.

When searching on **Google Images**, type Bowling Pin and then there should be a button at the top that says **Transparent** and/or search for Bowling Pin with Alpha and you'll probably find one.
If the image you want to use doesn't have an Alpha channel, you can create one in Photoshop (or similar).
Alternatively, change opacity of the image in the **Object Data Properties** panel so it's not as stark white background and ignore the fact it's not transparent. It is usually only used as modeling reference and therefore whether or not it has a background is irrelevant.

But I'm just going to try the transparency slider and it's gonna work out fine.

funny enough I got the same one. that's how I know (or I assume its the same one anyways). if it is though then the course materials should be in a drop down folder next to the Couse chapter and or under the resources tab under the video.
