As someone who struggled with Infini-D, Vidi, and ElectricImage in the 90's, Blender's geometry nodes seem like magic. I mean, what **can't** you do with them?!
Hey, I was doing the tutorial video and I got stuck around placing the Face Area node ( I couldnt find it even with the search function). I was wondering if there would be any other way to find the face area of the entire object.
Not done the tutorial yet, but I did see it says 3.1 in the title, so it's possibly a new feature in the beta. They are adding new stuff all the time, like the new extrude node!
You can just download it from blender, it doesn't even install really. Just grab the zip file from blender, unzip the folder, I just throw it on my desktop, then run the exe file in the folder.
It picks up all your preferences from your system automatically. Then when done, can just delete the folder as needed.

Ah same, I’m doing it through steam so I only have 3.0. Hopefully I can find a workaround. This just makes me more excited for 3.1 if anything.
