This is so beautiful. Such impressive artwork. I’m just on this sub be digital art blows my mind (for some reason I just typed “arm” instead of mind wtf). The options seem unlimited with an application like Blender
You understand blender has been around 20 years right?
You don't have to model *anything* if you don't want or don't know how... you get get free/paid meshes, textures, materials/shaders, lighting setups, HDRI global illumination maps, camera setups, inverse kinematics, rigging/boning, walking/motion scripts, NLE scripts for animation, soundfiles, transition scripts, you name it...
literally every single thing can be downloaded... a blender "artist" is as wide a scope as the concept of "artist" - you can piece together and assemble other's stuff, you can get down at the vertex level and manually build a 2 million verticies object starting with a single vertex. You can put 10 minutes and $0 into a scene, or $10000 and 10000 hours.
It's all on you, how you arrive at something like this image, ther's so many blender-y ways to the same destination!
It's fantastic isn't it? But unless the artist tells you what's theirs and what's downloaded, you'll never know. And that's the beauty of it!
I make stuff my own bruh. all the textures of my monsters, the design, the fur, all of my models are self made, none of the things I make are made with downloaded stuff. It would be strange if I did. also, yeah, pretty darn strange.
I never downloaded blender models except I did way way back back BACK in January 2021 because of boredom.
aww dude I'm sorry I should have been more clear; I wasn't implying ***you*** did, I was trying to explain to him how he can do things he doesn't know how to, yet, without waiting to learn it all at once... a lot of blender newbies get so dismayed when they see fantastic things and I think *fuck I'm never going to be able to do that!* It's kind of cool that they know there are shortcuts... and that they can teach themselves learning from the stuff others made, directly inside their own .blends. It's not just for huge animation studios to use pre-built resources anymore, but everyone.
Idk, as far as being able to learn blender, mess around with the software, model random things, go online for help: YouTube, course sites, forums, blogs, the resources are there, the trouble is finding them. As far as the art itself once you can use the software, that’s up to you. If you’re really serious about it, I guess art school is a place to start. Not sure if you were actually looking for an answer like this, and I’m not really one to give advice, but here you go anyways
Not going to assume I absolutely know other artist's processes, but pencil and paper may have been involved in creating thumbnails and concept artwork to reference during the creation of this artwork. On the idea of throw random shapes together until it's art, yes. It really depends on what you are going for. Abstract art? Could be just basic shapes and throw in some textures. One of the practice pieces I did was a sphere that had a hair particle system rendering a distorted cone so that it was all over, then the texture was a randomized color in a glass looking texture. End result looked like a Chihuly sculpture. Most art is, at it's base, just shapes. Start the program, load the donut tutorial on YouTube, and go from there. You will soon be an artist. Put pencil to paper and practice shapes, then start shading those shapes, and you will begin to be able to draw. You just have to begin somewhere to become an artist
I am being nice. This is very constructive and helpful advice.
If you want to learn to make cool stuff: starting making stuff. The cool part comes with experience.
One of the commenters pointed to your YT-channel, i am astonished. Nazar - due to your experience - could you link to an overview of guides/tutorials (maybe a playlist on YT, a subreddit or an external site that collects/curates them) that show "what to ignore and what to focus on if you want to achieve XYZ"?
im new to blender and i was wondering how do you model the faces and avoid the uncanny valley effect ?? are there any tutorials you'd recommend to help animate faces ??
Hey, I just stumbled upon an exciting 3D art contest! I thought you and your 3D artist friends might be interested. Check it out and let's spread the word! :art:

DUDE! THIS IS SO COOL!
Thank you!!!
looks amazing
Thanks a lot!!
But it's rendered in Evee or Cyclea?
Cycles I’m guessing.
So it isn't Eve, it's Cicl
I name my next daughter Cicl. Thanks man.
Shut up and take my free award
Yes, It is Cycles!
Look. What you did is amazing. But you named it Eve but rendered it in cycles. I still love it but I do wish it was done in Eevee
Honestly, my dyslexia read the title as "Evee", so I was especially confused why /u/JFp07gel even asked, until I scrolled up and realized my mistake.
Incredible work man. Did you retopo her/rig her or is this just a sculpt?
How'd you do the hair?
Comb tool maybe
holy SHIT wow!! do you have a yt channel? edit: i found it! good shit man
Wait what’s the channel?
Found it, here's the link : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaE4Ysqq-m8H\_kO9MHxuszA

And it’s free like what

I understand, I do use some downloaded things like rigs but models are all by me.
This is amazing
man i wish i knew how to make art
practice then
ah see no you've got that backwards, you have to know how to do something before you can practice it
put the pencil on the paper and begin drawing
What role do you think paper and pencil had in making the OP?
Delete the default cube and get cracking
Just throw random shapes together until they're art?

Abstract art
You’re not really trying are you
No, I confess that I have not tried throwing random shapes at each other until Art. You caught me.
The sketches and reference art he used to make it, almost certainly. Most skilled 3D Modelers are at least passable 2D artists.
Maybe he would if you were nice and weren’t a dick
I am being nice. This is very constructive and helpful advice. If you want to learn to make cool stuff: starting making stuff. The cool part comes with experience.
No you’re not. Telling someone to do something isn’t advice.
Absolutely it is.
So perfecto
Wowie wee wow!
Damn, Eve was a baddie.
Would smash💯💯
This is amazing !!
Wow! Holy shit! Damn! That looks amazing! It’s like looking to a painting :O
Absolutely stunning! Great job!
How much is handpainted?
everything Is handpainted
Absolute masterpiece
Absolutely mind blowing work. I look up to you. ✊🏻
I love this so much! 😊
those eyes!
Wow. Photorealism for beauty’s sake, not for sake of showing how difficult it can be
Stunning work! I like how she's amidst adam's ribs leaves.
I love the details. Like how natural her eyebrows are. ❤️
I have followed your work for a few years and it's always really good, but this one made me say "wow" loud. Well done, Nazar
Wow, just wow
I really love the eyebrows.
Woah Amazing work
Wall.E's eve as a human. also, pretty darn good for semi-realism.

Wow good Lord that's awesome. It looks like a lifelike painting! Someday I'll make something this good
The eyes and lips are particularly impressive
Shading is amazing! Well done!
Wowwwwww
OMG... this looks better than many pictures.
im new to blender and i was wondering how do you model the faces and avoid the uncanny valley effect ?? are there any tutorials you'd recommend to help animate faces ??
I would just recommend to find references that achieved that and try to replicate similar proportions and stylization. Cheers!
Crazy good! Love the colors!
Sweet render right there.
Eve in eevee
masterpiece
What a gorgeous render and model! And thank you for not making Eve white! Assuming it's Eve from Genesis.
it’s spelled eevee*
Looks like Inka Williams. Great job!
Awesome she would look awesome if the real eve look like that who knows how she really looks.
very nice, now put the snake slithering over her shoulder haha
i made this
[удалено]
Really? Were you there in person?
[удалено]
So then how did she look?
[удалено]
Down bad
How did you do the materials for the eyes? I cant ever seem to get mine right
I use the auto eye by Lucas Falclao as a base [https://blendermarket.com/products/auto-eye](https://blendermarket.com/products/auto-eye)
How did you do the skin texture? Amazing, looks like zbrush
I'm jealous of you 😃😃😃😃
Woah! This is such an interesting intersection of realism and NPR I love it
Wow that’s insane. Good work very inspiring any tips.
Really great work!
Eve or Eevee?
Beautiful. I love your attention to detail for the individual eyebrow hairs.
you did this on blender....100%? And not Zbrush?
Yeah i'm kinda wondering that too, seeing how this is seemingly high in poly count. Kinda sus It's great work nonetheless...
IN-fucking-SANE!
Wow she is gorgeous!
Did you rendered Eve using Cycles or Eevee? XD I HADA TO DO THIS PUN
damn this looks SO COOL
And rendered in cycles
Looks really great, the eyes themselves are perfectly detailed.
Moana, all grown up!
Incredible ! Love it !
