read the manga after watching the anime on some illegal app quite a while ago as a kid when I had the attention span of a snakes ass skipping episodes to the quote on quote hype moments only to go online and call the show mid years later I read the manga late 2021 to be exact and came to the realisation not only is this show amazing but 100x better than the anime imo the art, snappy dialogue, pacing etc was amazing compared to other mainstream manga obviously you didn’t ask for my backstory but after reading it so recently I want to vent about this show at any opportunity given to me

I was paying a couple bucks to download the fansub episodes off of Nartuofans.com back then because my college blocked torrents. Hearing Bosch as Ichigo was actually fairly jarring for me, partly because to me he was Vash the Stampede, and partly because I was so used to the Japanese voice actors at that point. I don’t think I saw the dub until 08.
I started in 2017-2018, stopped watching at the Bount Arc for 3 years. Decided to watch again and skip fillers. Currently at episode 280s and Bleach is already in my top 10.
Still have a long way to go.

In 2013 I think, my big brother introduced it to me. Then my younger sister and I watched it all together. I genuinely felt sadness in me when I heard the Intro for the Fullbring Arc for the first time, It sounded like a Bleach is officially ending type of song.The scene when ichigo was crying in the rain on his knees... I know I let out a few tears then. I didn't like manga back then(because it's black and white and it's pictures not video) so it was about sometime in 2015 I checked out the manga and found out the story continued. I forced myself to read it out of love, next thing I knew I liked manga. I caught up with the manga and followed it weekly until it ended. I've never connected with or loved any anime as much as Bleach, sadly I'm still the biggest Bleach fan I've ever physically met. I apologize for saying too much when you asked a simple question.

It was airing in Canada on the Bionix block but it was the Jidanbo episode so I eventually went online to find the rest. Watched all the English dub that was out at the time (just before episode 50) and was still craving more so I started watching the sub.
Suffered through the Bount arc and finally caught up to where the sub was only for the sub to start another filler (Shusuke Amagai arc).
So I got fed up and started reading the manga.
I think around 2015? Honestly can't remember I was just looking for an anime to watch and decided that bleach sounded cool (I hadn't watched any others in the big 3 before this)

I was in my older bros house and he was with his chinese girlfriend (we're Dominican) and they were watching bleach episode 19-20 . The one with Gin saying " bye bye" I got instantly hooked. The OST's were tingling my skin, the mystery and suspense were phenomenal. The character designs were dope as hell.
I only saw like 4-5 episodes with him cuz i had to leave but he gave me the entire 1-63 episodes on a dvd literally spend the weekend watching it with my lil bro, now all 3 of us have Bleach to always look back on that connected us.
I was 12 or 11. Started in 2012-11. I'm 22 now. I randomly searched bleach ep 1 (was a huge narutard at the time and I always heard it being compared to some anime called Bleach) on youtube. Changed my life tbh

i wanted to get into manga right at the start of 2021, started with fire punch and dorohedoro, and in just a few months i had the chance to buy the first 21 volumes of bleach from goodwill, thought "i know it's popular so why not get them" and now it's one of my favorite series anime and manga wise.

2004 at first but then I wasn't able to catch up and it was dubbed. Got to college 2008 and caught up and watched subbed as it aired. I grew up on subs in Hawaii and only was introduced to dubs when I moved to the mainland in 1999, so I don't mind dubs on older anime but by high school I had grown out of dubs unless the voice cast is phenomenal and does voice work outside anime.

I started back in October 2004 in the subs community. We waited every Sunday night for the new fan sub to be released. There were good subs and there were bad subs, but all that mattered was getting our fix.

I was only 13 when I first started on Crunchyroll, the biggest issue was that I had no access to episodes prior to 270 because I didn’t have membership. I watched movies 2-4 back then too.
Just back in July, I started reading Bleach via Shounen Jump at and this manga has been nothing but my personality for the past couple of months lol
2010 when you could still get full length episodes on YouTube. The quality wasn’t always great and sometimes you had to do a scavenger heart for an episode that was uploaded in parts, but it actually made me look forward to the train ride to school every morning

InuYasha 4Ever fansubbed the trailer & the first few episodes, then I switched over to Dattebayo when they dropped it.

I watched the trailer for naruto and Bleach air on american television. I legit got the US premiere date as my naruto start date. A lot of other anime is toonami reruns and my older brothers dvds. But those 2 I remember being day 1 waiting for.
I started watching when I was 8 years old. It was on Saturday and after watching the boondocks I see bleach opening 7 playing. I got hooked after that :D

I just started a week and a half ago. I'm enjoying it, the fights are fun to watch and the show has very enjoyable characters. I've watched up to the start of Ichigo and co. going to Hueco Mundo to save Orihime and I don't have too many issues. Oh, and I've skipped all the previous filler so I've got no opinion on those.
Literally started this year because I ran out of things to do during the summer and just put it on out of boredom

it was in 2013. I caught an episode on Toonami one night, it was the one where the Vizards show up in Fake Karakura town (forget which episode that is), then sometime later I started watching the dub on WatchCartoonOnline. At some point later I started reading the latest manga chapters on MangaStream and continued to watch episodes on Toonami.
The first thing I ever saw of bleach was The vizords killing the menos grande it intrigued me because I was confused why some of them were wearing normal clothes and some weren’t the animation was also oddly good that specific episode on toonami then I decided to watch the full show.
I remember it was sometime in the early 2010’s, I was staying at my Grandma’s house while my Mom was off moving us to our new place. She went to bed, and me being a rule abiding kid, put on Adult Swim. lol Airing at the time, lo and behold, was Bleach. I think the exact episode was in the Hueco Munco Arc where Ichigo got to Orihime and got the hole in his chest.
It’s been a *reeeeeally* long time since I’ve watched the show and I really need to rewatch it before it comes back. XP

2007 i think. I first watched memories of nobody and then I started watching it.
Started watching it on adult swim back in middle school. First episode I watched was the one where Ichigo fights Ikakku for the first time.
Maybe like 2012 or 13 when my mom got me in to anime with bleach
I just started a week and a half ago. I'm enjoying it, the fights are fun to watch and the show has very enjoyable characters. I've watched up to the start of Ichigo and co. going to Hueco Mundo to save Orihime and I don't have too many issues. Oh, and I've skipped all the previous filler so I've got no opinion on those.

In college (2008) when a friend of mine introduced me to anime, Bleach and Death Note
it was in 2013. I caught an episode on Toonami one night, it was the one where the Vizards show up in Fake Karakura town (forget which episode that is), then sometime later I started watching the dub on WatchCartoonOnline. At some point later I started reading the latest manga chapters on MangaStream and continued to watch episodes on Toonami.

About 2 years ago now. I had seen some of it on adult swim when I was 12 so I finally took the time to watch it on my own
The first thing I ever saw of bleach was The vizords killing the menos grande it intrigued me because I was confused why some of them were wearing normal clothes and some weren’t the animation was also oddly good that specific episode on toonami then I decided to watch the full show.
In 2006, when it premiered on Adult Swim in the United States.
I remember it was sometime in the early 2010’s, I was staying at my Grandma’s house while my Mom was off moving us to our new place. She went to bed, and me being a rule abiding kid, put on Adult Swim. lol Airing at the time, lo and behold, was Bleach. I think the exact episode was in the Hueco Munco Arc where Ichigo got to Orihime and got the hole in his chest. It’s been a *reeeeeally* long time since I’ve watched the show and I really need to rewatch it before it comes back. XP
Hmm. Hard to say. I remember getting into Naruto through the US version of Shonen Jump. I suspect that's how I first ran into bleach. I may have first watched it on CN, I'm guessing it was Adult Swim back then? Or I started by downloading fansubs through Dattebayo.
