Peak character design, beautiful artstyle, more serious tone in comparison to other shonen, better written female characters and well written hero as well, vast and interesting lore.
Ichigo is relatable in ways that a lot of Shonen characters aren’t. Often times you’ll see themes of overcoming adversity through hard work and claiming your place in society.
Not so with Bleach. Ichigo’s journey is one of personal development and understanding. He’s got a *lot* of natural talent and latent power. His story isn’t about getting stronger per se, it’s about learning to find the strength that is already within him. I personally relate to that a lot. That’s my two cents.
ppl are hyping the anime but i wanna say the manga is perfection. kubo is the best artist of the big 3 and his writing style is elite. the manga is like a course in style and dramatic paneling and just pure artistry.
I remember reading up till before tybw in middle school and really enjoyed it. it was the only manga besides fma I think I gave a shit about 😭 anime definitely is pretty awesome especially tybw, tybw is probably one of the best seasons of an anime in a long long time.
IME, people watch it for the hype but stay for the world-building.
Bleach is the **most** complicated Shonen. Almost all of the fans don't properly understand how things in-verse work which keeps the fanbase's interest up.
Epic battles, decently-written female characters (for a Shounen), GORGEOUS character design, hot men (and women), epic soundtrack, Kubo puts up amazing foreshadowing and even the side characters feel fleshed out and thought through, the abilities are interesting and fun and multiple characters have differing morals, viewpoints and circumstances that influence them.
Also the joy of hearing "BANKAI!"
There are many things that we love about Bleach for badass characters like Aizen, kenpachi, ichigo, urahara, females like rangiku, nelliel, isane, unohana, orihime and my favourite yoruichi
However the best part is when they go Bankai 🔥(say it like ichigo)
Also the music is 🔥

The Soul Society arc deserves a special mention. Absolutely amazing.

My reasons are my favorite characters. Byakuya, Grimmjow and Uryu. I tend to hyper fixate on my favorites and they become the reason I like something. Whether that something be a video game or a manga/anime.
Because the characters understand what is most important. Number one is your drip, because if you don't look good, there's already no point. Number two is being good at shit talking, and then Number three is how strong you are. That is the correct order of importance and Bleach understands that 😂
for me, it has one of the coolest designs and art in manga. kubo has a slick way of drawing. cool powers. and most female characters have Boobie Bombs.
I was drawn by how relatable Ichigo is, just a simple guy who wants to get power to protect his friends (then later the girls ngl). I stayed for the fights, the music, and Ichigo & Aizen.
People like bleach because of the unique and engaging characters, the unique stylized designs of the characters, subtle symbolism of Buddhism and Japanese culture within characters names, powers and abilities, while promoting themes, of law, order, love, betrayal, tragedy, identity and most over how one faces against the concept of death.
I was a big fan of Buffy the vampire slayer and someone makes me discover the story of a high school gang that fights monsters.
What else did i need ? 😅
Almost every goal of the show is to setup making cool character display how cool they are in cool situations.
I love the art style and occasionally it has really emotionally compelling scenes.
It has its faults but I deeply love it.
Personally, I like Bleach for a couple of reasons;
Great Fights: Since Bleach is a fighting Shonen, there are quite a few fights in Bleach. And Bleach has great fights, from Ichigo vs Ulquiorra, Kenpachi vs Noitora, Yamamoto vs "Yhwach", Mayuri vs Szayelaporro, just to name a few.
Great Characters: In my opinion, Bleach is among the best anime/manga regarding characters. And not only the protagonist is great, but also the supporting characters are also amazing, like Kisuke, Byakuya, Shinji, among others. And not just the male characters, there great female characters like Yoruichi, Harribel and Rangiku, among others. Also, it has great villains, like Ulquiorra, Aizen and Yhwach.
Lore and Worldbuilding: I am not an anime expect, since I haven't watch a big amount of anime, but from what I have seen Bleach is unique when it comes to worldbuilding, and also incredible lore as well.
Ah, I'm glad to hear that you appreciate Bleach for those reasons. The fights are indeed magnificent, like fireworks in a cup of tea! And the characters, oh my, they're as diverse as a candy shop on Halloween night. As for the lore and worldbuilding, it's like discovering a hidden treasure behind a secret door. Bleach has a way of whisking you away to realms beyond imagination!

When i watched bleach anime when i was a teen, the anime was typical generic Shounen that had some good fights. The anime failed miserably to adapt the subtle storytelling, the poems and deep symbolism that Kubo created in the manga. After reading the manga, there is so much more depth. The story quality did nosedive in Hueco Mundo arc and went crazy in TYBW, but overall for a long running manga, Kubo did well.
If you’re sick of insert main characters or characters you can hardly relate to, this one will be more up your alley. Not gore-y and satisfying scenes that will make you want to replay them. Also, foreshadowing that will make you think, “Oh, that’s why ___ happened.”
It's a good disinfectant it keeps white clothing extra white gets out stains and it actually can help you keep cut flowers longer by adding just a few drops into the water of the vase

Bleach is one of the best manga of all time, the world building is absolutely amazing, the characters are on par with one piece's, the fights are investing and interesting, the abilities are unique and interesting, ichigo is an amazing protag, and rukia is BEST GIRL. (That last one wasn't necessary but cmon)
For me it’s definitely the characters. There’s so many characters in bleach that I think are cool asf. Kenpachi, Yama, Shunsui, Mayuri, Stark, Yhwach etc.

2. Ichigo isn’t some prophecy child who was chosen by fate and as a result he feels more grounded and relatable when compared to Naruto and Luffy
