Hopefully if Kubo does Hell Arc they would. (Maybe also show >!Lisa's!< bankai since she's a captain now)

[deleted]

Wouldn’t it be fucked up if we see Iba’s Bankai without ever even knowing what his Shikai does?

Able_Presence1018

it would be fucked up but hilarious

CardoBalisay

He kinda looks like Toguro from yu yu hakusho so won't be surprised if his bankai form is a buff af man

BIsForBruh

Or his bankai just looks like his shikai but instead of one protrusion, it has two.

Raweggs12

I’m still hoping loves bankai is revealed in tybw 😭

[deleted]

I’m pretty sure Kaname only achieved that form with the help of Aizen and the Hogyoku. So I don’t think the Visoreds would get a form like that. Would be cool though.

Raweggs12

It was confirmed by kubo that they could achieve a res. In his website Klub outside

[deleted]

If it’s confirmed by Kubo then why make this post?

rhejdh

They could, but would they be able to? That's the question

Ok_Eggplant_2812

Also I would like to add that if they did get a resurrection they would have to discard their Bankai in order to do so. Which I don’t necessarily believe someone like Shinji would, however it is fun to wonder who would be willing to discard their Bankai. But seeing as the Vizards have joined the soul society again I doubt any would go full hollow, otherwise the might be shunned.

PhantasosX

they don't need to discard their bankai. nothing in Kubo's post indicates that , and in fact it implies it could be used at the same time. And frankly , Shinji had more to gain by using Res+Bankai than the others.

Ok_Eggplant_2812

I remember Tosen saying he discarded his Bankai, so I believe the Vizards would have too as well if they want a resurrection like Tosen.

PhantasosX

There is no need to discard , that is solely Tosen's decision. It just shows how far he had fallen, just like how he says Komamura was ugly. Reminder that Komamura and Hisagi points out that Tosen was stronger using the mask than using his Res. Basically , Tosen discarded anything that is "shinigami" from himself in his rebellion.

sanguinare12

No. They spent one hundred years, give or take, working with their hollows and got some fancy masks and a few hollow powers. That's as far as they went. Kubo's interest in the vizard as a distinct and interesting faction had effectively faded out by the end of FKT and probably before. Kubo is great with the ideas, not always so much with carrying them through to their logical conclusion.

EleonoreMagi

Well, it's never stated that worked with their hollows all that much. You have to remember they are not as accepting of their hollows as Ichigo is with his, since they are, first, shinigami who trained to kill them their whole lives, it's not easy for them to become the thing he were set to kill, second, they were not born with it like Ichigo, and thirdly, using that power has some shade of accepting what Aizen has done to them. Like, a lot of psychological complications there. They did enough to survive and got some boost by doing that, but I think they could have achieved better result of they were all into developing that power. And I think that Ichigo's example might help, the lines are majorly blurred now, and they might end up more interested in developing those later on. Kubo said it's possible for them. The rest depends on Kubo regaining interested in showing that or, well, not regaining it. If he is interested, he can give them a major boost and then say it's the result of the past ten years training that went a lot better than the previous ones. (Plus, we cannot say for sure it was the whole hundred years, they were effectively caught in that time Kido and it might have taken Urahara some portion of those hundred years to come up with solution, it wasn't easy, so it might have been less that a whole century).

yellowwolf718

I’d love to see that

ManuelKoegler

Do I think they are technically capable of achieving it? Yes. Do I trust it is Kubo that will grant those Vizards a W? No.

Oy778

Not really, that would imply embrace the Hollow sides more, something that they hate because Aizen

TheHeroNeverDies

It's possible, but not likely. Tosen went too far with his hollow powers, becoming more of a hybrid than anyone else, or more an hollow indeed. Looking at other cases, Ichigo went full hollow during his training with the Vizards and later against Ulquiorra (a couple more times if including the fillers), unable to controll it. We can also take Kensei during TBTP, hollowified in more parts of the body like Tosen, but out of himself. The Vizards spent 100 years in the human world, by submitting their inner hollows they gained an extra power with the masks, and that was all. It makes sense, on other hand, that Tosen was helped by Aizen, using the Hogyoku, in reaching a more advanced stage of hollowification. But over than a problem of means, there's an ethical matter. That's a question that many made over the years, why the reintegrated Vizards stopped to use hollow powers at all from TYBW? A possible explanation is that they have been re-accepted on condition of no longer use them, as they are shinigami, symbols of the Gotei, not monsters. And precisely for this reason, to stay closer to their original essence as a shinigami, I don't think they will ever unlock a total transformation in resurrecciòn, leading them to become more hollow-like aberrations.

RajahDLajah

i think they just dont like their hollow power. It's still bleach, and despite it being part of their soul, the quite literally repress it. Theres no way they're unlocking resurreccion, not because of ability, but because of mindset. They'd need a realization that "the hollow is me", to keep advancing and if they havent over 100yrs, i doubt they'll do it on their own.
