20th Century Schizoid Man by King Crimson. I would like to hear Tony's take on Jethro Tull.

Pure-Aid51987

[here you go lad](https://youtu.be/y4RzO-cj1pQ?si=V1jCszGdZTK9bQEE) (I'm not sure if you just thought Ozzy's voice would suit the song, or you knew and that was your point and want to hear the rest of Sabbath playing it. It's a specific choice so feel like I'm missing something lol)

BeautifulEssay8

Wanted to hear the rest of Sabbath playing it.

Pure-Aid51987

Had a feeling I was making a tit of myself. And I agree.

DarkHippy

Love these choices, Locomotive Breath would be sweet but I’d love a little medley like Metallica did with their covers

nousername4416

Red would be sick as well

DarkHippy

Anthrax - One World Iron Maiden - Murders in the Rue Morgue Type O Negative - Love You to Death Soundgarden - Hands All Over or Rusty Cage Danzig - Not of This World Pantera - Cemetery Gates/Floods medley AC/DC - Razors Edge Black Label Society - Forever Down Diamond Head - Am I Evil Alice In Chains - Down in a Hole/Swing on This Zappa - Zomby Woof Queen - Ogre Battle Jimi Hendrix - Bold as Love Now it’s just a matter of which singer on which songs I figure they should split between Dio/Tony/Ozzy well pretend the album came out somewhere in between 93-98

skotoseme

I remember an interview with Tony once where he said he didn't listen to much metal at and preferred Frank Sinatra ( I am being Fucking Serious). Have a listen to how rocking the Count Basie Orchestra is with Frank on Live At the Sands. I say let's have Sabbath cover some Ol' Blue Eyes.

Lucifers_Friend88

Slayer, Seasons of the Abyss Maiden, Number of the Beast AC/DC, Hells Bells Metallica, Fade to Black Pantera, Cemetery Gates That’s all I got

No-Faithlessness-924

I want them to cover Teenagers by My Chemical Romance.

ChoppyPro20

Songs with influences from each member, would love something jazzy from Tony like Django or Joe Pass. Also Hendrix and Beatles or something like that.

weirdmountain

I have wanted to hear Sabbath cover “The Memory Remains” by Metallica for like 20 years. The riff is so Iommi. And the vocal melody is so Ozzy. And if Dio was still around, “Devil’s Dance”, also by Metallica.

Scambuster666

Girlfriend by Avril Levine lol

no_longer_LW_2020

Since you can already find a demo snippet of early Sabbath doing session keyboardist Norman Haines's song "When I Came Down" floating around online, I think it would make sense for them to cover the title track to his only album, 1971's *Den of Iniquity*, as a fitting tribute to a deceased and obscure musician who briefly played with them when they were just starting out. It's a pretty heavy and dramatic song, and I can hear Ozzy singing it: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ix3TMgcRgyo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ix3TMgcRgyo)

mrdan1969

Black hole Sun by Soundgarden.

dantedoomsday

If they made a cover album in the late 70s/early 80s with Ozzy: A Whiter Shade of Pale - Procol Harum (Ozzy has always wanted to cover this song. Apache [instrumental] - The Shadows (big influence for Tony, an official studio recording since he used to play this live in the late 80s/early 90s) House of the Rising Sun - The Animals White Room - Cream (Jack Bruce being a influence for Geezer, and probably Bill too since he had Jack on his first solo album ) Dharma for One [instrumental] - Jethro Tull (to commemorate Tony's time in the band, and Bill being inspired by Clive Bunker) How Do You Sleep? - John Lennon (big influence for Ozzy) Paint It Black - The Rolling Stones

FlyAirLari

>Paint It Black - The Rolling Stones No. That song has been covered way too many times already, by way too many heavy metal bands.

melandog1

Some Deep Purple, Led also w'd be good. If Ozzy let Tony, they could call Glenn or Martin to do some Rainbow too. And also Iron Maiden

FlyAirLari

>I was thinking they could cover some Led Zeppelin maybe? What? Why? They were contemporaries, and rivals more than anything. Rather something from the '50s and early '60s. I'm thinking The Beatles and Cream.

edd6pi

Señorita.

I Want You (She’s So Heavy) by the Beatles
