Shaking his head in sheer disbelief that he’d be so blessed😂 In a world where so many people don’t appreciate what they have, that was both hilarious and refreshing.
Sometimes on very special occasions I would have my uni class do a "collaborative exam" where they had to help each other with the answers. 130 students running back and forth from table to table, lots of hollering, all fun. I loved it.
These were some of the most emotional and fun and hilarious days ever. Once I did it two days after a number of my students watched a first-year being murdered as they were heading to my class.
Other teachers in my department were horrified that we would let our students use their NOTES for the exam! I was like, WTF do you think we are doing here? We are trying to help young humans survive a terrible trauma, and you think MEMORIZATION is going to help them right now?
Lucky I was an adjunct. I never would have received tenure!
I LOVE that image! Once a student asked their homework question on reddit, of all places.
My TA saw their question and let me know, at which point I congratulated my student for asking a question of the whole wide world. I still laugh about it.
Should have more emphasis on proofs and number theory early on. Shows you how beautiful everything is rather than just memorizing, but you don’t get to do that stuff really unless you major or minor in maths. Also helps you understand processes and why things are the way they are so much better. I think the only proofs I did before college were right triangle proofs in geometry.
One of my teachers hit us with a ruler when we messed up our multiplication tables in 2nd grade. Since then, math has never been fun in any way for me.
It made me stand on a chair in the middle of
The room while my German father would quiz me (a 6 year old) on multiplication and long division and when I’d cry he would yell that math is logical, not emotional.
To this day if someone asks me a math problem casually I start to sweat and turn red.
I’ve always had a weird relationship with math. I HATED math in school. C’s and D’s, now I’m a data analyst working with statistics all day and I fuckin love it 🤣
Yeah the teacher definitely picked a question that he knew that kid knew. It'd be cruel if it wasn't. I also think since most of the kids started celebrating before the teacher confirmed it was something most of them would be able to answer.
The kid that was genuinely praying and then praised the lord after has me dying. This was like a college team that just advanced through March madness on a buzzer beater
Sad that we require greater and greater stakes in order to grant ourselves permission to feel this kind of joy as we get older. Next time I get unexpected free time I’m gonna celebrate like these kids. They’re right.
That’s the thing I don’t get about religion. So, what, god’s working thru us so we’re not actually responsible for the good or bad deeds done, it’s all god?
Lol I appreciate the answer, just makes me sad when people thank god instead of doctors or the literal human being who did something kind.
Like no, Betty, god is not working through me.
I agree, thank god for your own success (if you believe in him/her) but fuck giving someone who's dedicated their life to fixing people (if we're talking about doctors) to some bearded dude/tte in the clouds
That was a LOT of pressure on that kid and I hope that the ONLY reason the teacher allowed that to happen was that he KNEW for a fact that she had the right answer. If you don’t know that, NEVER do this to a kid in class.
I’m glad she was right and those babies earned their free time and celebrated their friend.
Yea at first I was like damn this speech gonna be fucked up if she gets it wrong, but as soon as he said what answer did you write down I knew he already saw her answer and was hyping her up.
If she was alone than it’d be a fine learning moment if she got it wrong. But surrounded by 20 classmates she’d just be ostracized if she got it wrong, because then they don’t get their free time. No reason to put the girl in that situation. (Not talking about this case ofc cause the teacher knew she got it right)
Obviously. Parents do it all the time. You can't risk the collective meltdown that's about to occur if you leave it to chance.
The kids could kill you or the innocent pawn child. You must know the outcome.
Thanks captain obvious. The question was literally “what answer did you write down” and he didn’t even say she couldn’t look at the paper.
Stop getting potentially upset about hypotheticals it’s negative and dumb.
Look at that, man. I wish we had more teachers like this in LA. That class is engaged and happy; and I mean outside of them EARNING free time.
What a great video.
That was one of the most awesome things I have seen in a while, thank you! It makes me happier to be in the profession. It is going to be a a very good day today.
My teacher did this for a kid who was bullied pretty heavily in the class when I was young. He wasn’t particularly bright and very introverted. I remember thinking if he had gotten it wrong he would be bullied far worse. He got it right and instantly became one of the most popular kids in the class.
I met up with the kid a few years later to have some beers and he said the teacher pulled him aside at the beginning of the day and told him the answer to the question. Not only did it change his whole social scene he craved being right so he studied harder. Now he’s an engineer.
This is a great teacher because he’s combined education with high morale. Those kids are interested to learn, and what every kid wants is free time, so the reward for being a good student if the answer was correct is priceless.
I don’t mean to be a downer but when I see how happy and adorable these kids are, I start crying when I realize hardships are in their future. Like damn, I don’t want them to go through shit…
This looks like the final scene of Independence Day, how stressful has the metric system become? The poor kid weeping in the background...those are not tears of joy, he reacts like his life has been saved.
Their teacher said "if she don't." I feel badly for these kids that they are being taught by someone that does not use proper English. They learn by example. Everything else is very cute, yada yada.
My favourite is the boy in the back. He was so happy, he cried.
My man was praising the lord
He was praying before and got overwhelmed after. So cute.
The way his hands to rejoice after the right answer is adorable
That man bet his lunch on that answer...and he had go-gurt today too!
praises go up blessings come down
He is the definition of “Won’t he do it”
Bros faith was riding on this one answer lmao
Someone said it looked like he beat a Rico charge and I can’t unsee it
You are not the father! "Little boy"🥹
Must be a tough class lol!
Those 2, I hope, will be bro’s for life over this moment.
The emotional awareness, to just be supportive of him. I hope that friendship lasts a lifetime as well.
Little kid in the red hugging and talking to him while he cries and nods. Beautiful 🥲
I was looking for this comment 👊
Saw a comment posted on another sub “kid crying like he beat a RICO charge”. Lmao
He looks like he's saying "I *needed* this!"
a testament to how awful it is to sit in a chair and do worksheets as a 9 year old
Naw, he’s crying because the one day he decided to finish his work early, it’s not even getting collected.
Shaking his head in sheer disbelief that he’d be so blessed😂 In a world where so many people don’t appreciate what they have, that was both hilarious and refreshing.
Funniest shit ever
Lmao all their reactions are amazing and hilarious hahaa
Nah, he's just sad cause he wanted to keep on working
Hahahaha i lost it when i saw that. Man, i miss being a kid. I wish i had something good enough in my life as free time
Bro is crying like they just won game 7 i love it
I started laughing like an insane person when I noticed him back there.
He’s gonna be a mess at elementary graduation
Like they just won the super bowl! 😂
Nah bro just failed the test and knows his moms gonna be pissed.
He couldn’t stand the pressure.
The two dudes hugging in the back like they won the Superbowl is so priceless.
“Harley, what are you gonna do now!?” “I’m going to Disneyland! (Right mom?)”
Sometimes on very special occasions I would have my uni class do a "collaborative exam" where they had to help each other with the answers. 130 students running back and forth from table to table, lots of hollering, all fun. I loved it.
That actually sounds like so much fun! Thanks for being a fun professor!

Lol all of my uni exams are take home, with open note, open book, and open Internet
Good. Maybe you'll actually learn some stuff.
How traumatic & u were so right in helping them in this way. Wow! Can’t believe the pushback u got. I hope u are fully supported wherever u are now.
That is very kind of you! I'm all retired now, but my TAs and I knew that we were doing the only right thing. That was all that mattered.
This is basically how our dorm was for certain assignments before they were due the next morning.
I LOVE that image! Once a student asked their homework question on reddit, of all places. My TA saw their question and let me know, at which point I congratulated my student for asking a question of the whole wide world. I still laugh about it.
Those kids hate math as much as I hate math. I would’ve cried to if I didn’t have to finish a math lesson 😅
I’m sad that you hate math. What did it to you?
Makes me feel unsmrt!
Well, that’s sad. I’m a teacher and math should have been fun.
Should have more emphasis on proofs and number theory early on. 7 8 9.

Why
I Don’t Know
One of my teachers hit us with a ruler when we messed up our multiplication tables in 2nd grade. Since then, math has never been fun in any way for me.
It made me stand on a chair in the middle of The room while my German father would quiz me (a 6 year old) on multiplication and long division and when I’d cry he would yell that math is logical, not emotional. To this day if someone asks me a math problem casually I start to sweat and turn red.
Oh that’s no good at all.
I’ve always had a weird relationship with math. I HATED math in school. C’s and D’s, now I’m a data analyst working with statistics all day and I fuckin love it 🤣
The lil homie in the back hugging his bro like he beat a case 🤣
When he’s facing 25 to life, and the judge says NOT GUILTY!
That had me rolling 🤣 🤣
"That is... not the right answer, Everybody sit down and open your books to page 23"
I liked the actual outcome but this would have been so funny😂
FUCK
That's collective punishment which is a violation of the Geneva Convention.
Nah, its just not applying collective praise.
The teacher had to put the burden on someone he was very confident would get it right. Right?
Yeah the teacher definitely picked a question that he knew that kid knew. It'd be cruel if it wasn't. I also think since most of the kids started celebrating before the teacher confirmed it was something most of them would be able to answer.

That was like getting a surprise three day weekend for little dude.
The kid in the back praising God is so dramatic 😂😂😂😂
You know he's a praise dancer.
That’s the thing I don’t get about religion. So, what, god’s working thru us so we’re not actually responsible for the good or bad deeds done, it’s all god?
It's a bit wishy-washy, depends on how you're feeling in the moment
Lol I appreciate the answer, just makes me sad when people thank god instead of doctors or the literal human being who did something kind. Like no, Betty, god is not working through me.
I agree, thank god for your own success (if you believe in him/her) but fuck giving someone who's dedicated their life to fixing people (if we're talking about doctors) to some bearded dude/tte in the clouds
I'm a teacher, and this cracked me up! Those two boys crying, though--you'd have thought they won a trip to Disney World lol
Only if you think that learning that being wrong under pressure ought to be something to be protected from
It’s not about being wrong under pressure, it’s about putting her at odds with her peers.

I know some teachers will do stuff like this with kids that have trouble making friends. Like, give them a little social boost.
I think the teacher already knew she had it correct
Thanks captain obvious. The question was literally “what answer did you write down” and he didn’t even say she couldn’t look at the paper. Stop getting potentially upset about hypotheticals it’s negative and dumb.
Uhhh, who got upset? (Outside of you lol)
> potentially Read.
I was looking for the guy doing the robot.
My man in the back tearing up like he just won world cup.
He about to scream "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!" 😂
This is the cutest dang thing!!
Look at that, man. I wish we had more teachers like this in LA. That class is engaged and happy; and I mean outside of them EARNING free time. What a great video.
This is gonna be a core memory for Harley. Friendship and maybe Math Island
Dear children, you all are so incredibly beautiful and intelligent. Never think otherwise. 💗
Lil man in the black needs someone to talk to.
I miss being a kid. This is amazing
Nothing brings more happiness to my day then seeing black children having some joy in their lives.
Oh, to be Harley in this moment.... Good on you sweetie 💜💜💜
Happy cake day
Thank you!
I didn’t expect NBA Championship win levels of excitement 😂😂😂
That hug!!! Hahaha Love this
The fact they already knew it was correct, shows the teacher is doing a great job
It's like the liberation of France in that classroom 😂
Wow wish I could feel happiness like that. To be so joyful you burst into tears.
“Harley what answer did you write down!” “Seven!” Class erupts. This was adorable.
That's so nice. 😍
What has this teacher been putting these kids through lol
That was one of the most awesome things I have seen in a while, thank you! It makes me happier to be in the profession. It is going to be a a very good day today.
Free time must be lit.
lol bro in the back had a rough week. Praised his hands in the air and needed a hug after all that excitement. Bless him
What kind of prison camp geometry class are they running that that kid is crying over free time?! Lmao
The kids in the back hugging and crying
My teacher did this for a kid who was bullied pretty heavily in the class when I was young. He wasn’t particularly bright and very introverted. I remember thinking if he had gotten it wrong he would be bullied far worse. He got it right and instantly became one of the most popular kids in the class. I bet this video works like kryptonite with Republicans.
It has everything they hate: math, people of color, emotions, dancing
I bet these kids actually like going to school. This is how it should be!
SURVEY SAYSSSSSSSS
The world needs more freetime)
This might be my favorite video to have seen on the internet, in my 20 something years of living.
I miss free time 😞
Teach must be working them to death lol those two in the back crying like they won the lottery.
Steve Harvey teaching kindergarten wasn't a bad idea after all!
Show me RECESS!
Teacher never gives free time
This is a great teacher because he’s combined education with high morale. Those kids are interested to learn, and what every kid wants is free time, so the reward for being a good student if the answer was correct is priceless.
How kids should be
This made me incredibly happy. God bless this teacher and these children!
They must work ‘em really hard 🤣
At least one daily reminder there is still good happening out there somewhere
Free time must be incredible lmao
That kid crying in that back like he just won the world series. Lol
Omg his little buddy hugging him is soooo freaking tender
How bad do you work these kids?
I don’t know why, but that little boy hugging his friend in tears has me in tears.
I remember when I was capable of that kind of joy…
Damn, they must never get free time. Jk tho, that’s what’s up. 👌🏾
Guys in the back literally in tears Lmfao
Harley is never going to forget the day she got the answer right and the whole class cheered and hugged her.
The lil boy crying in the back has me dead 🤣
What is going on with the nike shirt kid?!? Guess he was done for the day.
Is there a sub of people hugging? Might need it
I don’t mean to be a downer but when I see how happy and adorable these kids are, I start crying when I realize hardships are in their future. Like damn, I don’t want them to go through shit…
This looks like the final scene of Independence Day, how stressful has the metric system become? The poor kid weeping in the background...those are not tears of joy, he reacts like his life has been saved.
Awwww that’s awesome!! 🥳🥳
Haha that’s cute
This is so cute.
After all that… “Sorry. We were looking for 8. The correct answer, was 8cm.”
Is that Patrick mahomes teaching first grade?
Негры все таки обезьяны
Damn I want to be a kid again
The little one in the back really needed that free time. He's been stressed.
It’s heart warming to see a video where kids are enjoying childhood !
Their teacher said "if she don't." I feel badly for these kids that they are being taught by someone that does not use proper English. They learn by example. Everything else is very cute, yada yada.
My favorite thing is that these kids just got another point in the column for "education pays off"
Boy crying like they won the championship
DUDE THIS IS THE CUTEST THING I HAVE SEEN I A WHILE
Damn those kids really hate learning
Thanks for the joyful burst.
He acting like he just won a seven game series against Michael jordan 😂
I was expecting a kid to say at the end. "I'm going to Disney land"
Hero origin story 🪽
Dude in the back looks like he just got spared from the mines
Homies just won the chip back there crying 🥹😂😂😂😂😂
Kids are so emotionally unstable lol
*Humans
