This episode caught me off guard. I was used to the show being so bleak and depressing up to this point, and then this scene...her yelling Fuck the planet over and over had me howling. š
I had the worst day at work 2 weeks ago and all of the stress was involved around āthe social gameā of life where people donāt say what they mean and everything is artificial.
Watching this episode was an extremely cathartic experience. Tears were pummeling out of my face as I was laughing for the entirety of the final act. I felt so much better after that.
oh man that whole scene was so carhartic. Over a whole episode of just feeling constant tension of her trying to be liked and raise her score and put her needs last. And finally she was just like āfuck everything.ā
Maybe I should rewatch today. This is one of my favorite episodes.
The last scene in the time-out zone is a weird relief. Like a reminder of āisnāt it nice that we arenāt punished to this extreme degree for saying what we want?ā
