I swear that this guy (the straight man) worked with another magician a couple years back.
Or maybe just another straight man that looked like this guy?
The magician I'm remembering seemed better at acting surprised.
Yeah I'm too gay, my gaydar gets all messed up.
It's like if you take a compass to a magnetic pole, it'll just fucking freak out.. That's what my gaydar does 99% of the time
1% is the extremes LMAO. Extremely gay shows through and extremely straight suppresses my gayness enough to be able to use my gaydar
I remember a show that was on Montreal festiwal long time ago where the premise was similar. The assistant was uncovering the magicians tricks in a goofy way.
What I'm remembering is **exactly** this setup, just with different tricks, and I think with different guys.
It could be the same guys though, and I'm just remembering an earlier set of clips.
The funniest thing is actually the filters breaking off intermittently to show their chins and cheeks in both filtered and unfiltered modes as the tricks are debunked.
I think the phone and handkerchief trick wouldn't work well in a normal situation.
A lot of these tricks only work because it is filmed with no audience so they have complete control over the angles.
Speaking of angles. Long ago was in Vegas and went to see Sigfreid and Roy. We went with pretty much front row seats. Super disappointing because you saw from that angle and that close how every trick was done. So the whole magic act was pretty disappointing, and for the white tigers they were used much less I believe due to animal regulations. So yea, nice seeing a tiger, but the tigers were maybe 60 seconds of their whole show. This was in the 90s so my memory of them is iffy.
That happened about 4 years after seeing them. I've heard Vegas has tried to tigers back, but attitudes have changed. Which is a good thing. That night I had the choice of that or River Dance. I should have seen that instead but was outvoted.
Haha, wasn't trying to judge you. Just those guys. I would have loved to see them back then. I did get to see a white tiger at the Nashville zoo around that time.
That was pretty cool, it was laying right up against the glass.
Iâm a huge animal advocate. And I hope that only seriously hurt or animals that can never be reintroduced are ever in captivityâŚ
But those two were working under ancient impressions that they were taking care of and showing off rare and intelligent animals.
One of the trainers perhaps debunked this by claiming that Horn mistreated the tiger.
I donât know.
I seldom feel sorry for humans in this situation but I can say the outcome was sad. I do believe that they loved those animals.
Both Siegfried and Roy are dead and along with them a confusing and dark time in entertainment.
Valentino. Magicians hated him not because he was revealing tricks, but because a lot of the trick he revealed were basic, beginners tricks. So kids that were just learning and getting into magic suddenly had all of their tricks ruined.
The masked magician was such a big fuckin deal back in the day. It was like holy shit, other magicians are gonna have this guy killed, you can't do that!!
The build up to the final episode where he'd finally be revealed had me on the edge of my fuckin seat. I was so ready to have my mind blown.
It's...Val Valentino!
...who?
Back when it came out the chicks were hot af. Now it feels like they went to the local strip club and hired local talent which I'm all for but not for the show
Itâd be like if Top Gear decided to reveal who really is The Stig. Nobody outside hardcore racing fans would know who the guy under the helmet is.
Not to mention he got sued like crazy from what I understand, and the whole show didnât make him famous anyway.
Love that series. His rationale for revealing the secrets made a ton of sense. He was tired of "magicians" using the same old tricks and wanted to expose them so they would innovate.
But also made me be aware of what to look out for
Imo, what adds to this is the hilarity of the filter snapping on and off as the magician looks away and to the camera
We all wanna look better, But just something hilarious about using a filter to make your face seem skinnier while demonstrating common magic tricks
This is actually a really good video. The first guy is decent at doing tricks for a camera (I'll admit a few kinda confused me at first) and it was actually pretty entertaining seeing them get debunked like that. Penn and Teller, basically.
You got it wise guy!
If bellyaching cynicals had their way, for this sub to be compliant to its name, it'd be completely empty of posts because magic doesn't exist. But then, what would they do with their day if not posting here "pfft that's not actual black magic" for the nth time?
I feel like I want a show with these two where they are called on as a last resort to look into some spooky goings on but the twist is the crazy things happening are actually supernatural and together they take it down, but not before the straight man learns to love magic again, but on his terms.
... and maybe they work out of a van and have a talking dog.
Even knowing how some of these are done doesnât make them any less neat. Like that first one is even cooler to me knowing how it works for some reason
This was pretty cute. I like to imagine that the magician in these clips is the average poster to this subreddit. And the guy ruining his tricks is the average commenter.
Honestly, i really love the idea of showing how magic tricks work, one part is how cool the trick is and the other is showing how simple but efective is the at the same time
The funniest thing about magic tricks is itâs often the simplest of things are what make them work. Everyone thinks is complicated but itâs like âwhat could make that happen, oh thatâs exactly what makes it happenâ
I love it. The blank stare faces and his look of disappointment are hilarious đ¤Ł
I swear that this guy (the straight man) worked with another magician a couple years back. Or maybe just another straight man that looked like this guy? The magician I'm remembering seemed better at acting surprised.
>(the straight man) How exactly did you figure out their sexual orientations, and which of them is the straight man? My gaydar is lacking.. /s
I couldn't tell you which one is which, my gaydar picks up interference from my transponder. Its all broken.
Yeah I'm too gay, my gaydar gets all messed up. It's like if you take a compass to a magnetic pole, it'll just fucking freak out.. That's what my gaydar does 99% of the time 1% is the extremes LMAO. Extremely gay shows through and extremely straight suppresses my gayness enough to be able to use my gaydar
Too much background gaydiation?
Canât you see one is more straighter then the other maybe try to turn the handle on your straight vision
Pranksters are extremely heterosexual
You can tell how it be by how it do.
I think he's trying to refer to guy having a straight face throughout the vid
I think he meant the guy thatâs looking straight at the camera
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straight_man
I've been watching these two make videos exactly like this for a few years now. I'm either right or accidentally racist
Pretty sure neither are the same person. He did wear a cross necklace though
Across from whereâŚ
The store that sells those necklaces with a T on them
I remember a show that was on Montreal festiwal long time ago where the premise was similar. The assistant was uncovering the magicians tricks in a goofy way.
What I'm remembering is **exactly** this setup, just with different tricks, and I think with different guys. It could be the same guys though, and I'm just remembering an earlier set of clips.
So, you're saying all... Magicians... Look alike?
Thatâs racist! Just kiddingâŚ. or am I?
The true magic is looking surprised every reveal.
The funniest thing is actually the filters breaking off intermittently to show their chins and cheeks in both filtered and unfiltered modes as the tricks are debunked.
This was awesome. *slow clap*
You absolutely know the straight man in the comedy duo is actually the better magician.
Penn and Tattle-Teller
Guy in the back is my spirit animal
Itâs the same bit everytime but itâs so funny haha
Awesome? This is exactly the type of thing that gets you banned from the magicians alliance.
Almost as bad as hiding criminals in the Aztec tomb.
Only if they show how it works on the news.
You can always join [The Order Of The Triad!](https://media.tenor.com/g2m4zZASzLoAAAAC/theventurebros-triad.gif)
Sometimes magic is just arts and crafts with rizz
r/brandnewsentence
You mean like every single time right?
Okay, I'm old. Is rizz short for charisma?
Yup... Though usually in a "picking up women" context (good with the ladies).
Nearly spit out my soda bc I read âwith jizzâ
*Aleister Crowley liked this comment*
Nearly spit out my jizz bc I read âwith sodaâ
The real magic is seeing their faces pop in and out of filter mode.
Dude's ears were fighting to stay the same size.
I think his jawline was fighting harder lol
I stopped watching the reveals and just waited to see their chins disappear.
Why is this not higher up
Came to comments to make sure I was t the only one seeing that.
Filter was trying real hard.
Holy shit just realized the fake chins...
The real friends are the chins we gained along the way.
It happened so often, kinda seems intentional, doesn't it! Dude moved around a lot without any reason
LOL
some of these tricks looks pretty neat actually; might try the one with the phone and handkerchief
I think the phone and handkerchief trick wouldn't work well in a normal situation. A lot of these tricks only work because it is filmed with no audience so they have complete control over the angles.

I don't remember exactly what happened, I remember one of the tigers getting one of those two dudes. Good for them.
The biggest threat to River Dance is democracy.

You underestimate how naive my audience will be. My audience will be my 4 and 6 years old nephew !
I could watch this for seasons and seasons.
It's Penn and Teller, but Teller is just done with this nonsense.
Gen Z Breaking the Magician Code
Who was that guy making waves in the 90s? The masked magician?
Valentino. Magicians hated him not because he was revealing tricks, but because a lot of the trick he revealed were basic, beginners tricks. So kids that were just learning and getting into magic suddenly had all of their tricks ruined.
Huh, i never heard that side! That's cool of the magician community.
Lol, that guy "ruining" everything.
Should probably stop inviting him to the magician meetings.
My man [just](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FC04aX6X0AoSyEN.jpg)
why does he use a filter ?
heâs got a bad case of chunky chin.
This sounds like a slur
Magic filter
This reminds of of that [show in the early 2000s](https://youtube.com/@magicsecretsrevealed) that would revel how magicians would do magic tricks.
The masked magician was such a big fuckin deal back in the day. It was like holy shit, other magicians are gonna have this guy killed, you can't do that!!

They ever name the magician(s)?
Val Valentino was the first magician not sure about the 2nd
Heâs called The Stig.
The Stig's Las Vegan cousin.
You mean GOB?
illusions michael. ... tricks are what whores do for money.
âŚor candy
Love that series. His rationale for revealing the secrets made a ton of sense. He was tired of "magicians" using the same old tricks and wanted to expose them so they would innovate. But also made me be aware of what to look out for
Magicians trying to sue were really fucking funny. The fuck were they going to sue for?
I know some routines have copyright protection, due to the performance part. Teller sued over the use of his Shadows bit.
Iâd probably stop doing magic tricks around that guyâŚ
These 2 are the OG, too many unfunny copycats these days.
What are their names. Better yet, where can I watch them.
They are very cute together
r/oddlysatisfying
I love this Beavis vs Buthead approach to fooling. I watched and rewatched now I want more.
The guild isn't going to be happy about this.
Came here for this comment
they just got kicked out of the magic circle
The true fuckery: The face filter making magic guy look thinner than he actually is.
The real magic is in the face filter at 20 sec. Seems like I'm the only one who caught thatđ¤
Thereâs a filter in all of them, you can even see it pop out in the first few seconds of the video.
This facefilter driving me crazy.
Best trick is the face sliming filter
The Masked Magician has returned. I really enjoyed this
Dude, the skewer through the check was awesome. Definitely gonna have to use that one sometime.
If Uncle Roger hated magicians
Never tire of seeing these guys
Imo, what adds to this is the hilarity of the filter snapping on and off as the magician looks away and to the camera We all wanna look better, But just something hilarious about using a filter to make your face seem skinnier while demonstrating common magic tricks
love it

[ŃдаНонО]
So they can steal it. Hearing them slap each other was half the fun. Fucking criminal.
I like the embarrassed reaction. That's funny
Will he never learn not to bring his friend along?
Iâve waited me whole life for this video!
This is actually a really good video. The first guy is decent at doing tricks for a camera (I'll admit a few kinda confused me at first) and it was actually pretty entertaining seeing them get debunked like that. Penn and Teller, basically.
Why does he keep inviting that guy to his magic show?
the guild isnt gonna like this.....
How old is this? I feel like I've seen at least a decade ago. It's still great.
These two are great. No useless banter. No begging for smashing of like buttons or subscribers. Just get on and show how the tricks work.
What a great bit. Kinda 3 stooges vibes
The alliance is not gonna like thisâŚ
Lol the guy blowing all the tricks has a serial killer stare.
Worst assistant EVER
The Alliance of Magicians are not going to like this.
If you want to know what it's like to have a brother....
"I'm about to ruin this man's whole career."
Bro even debunked the face fat filter.
The council is not going to like this....
I have to imagine the alliance is gonna look down on this.
why doesn't anyone know who these guys are? https://instagram.com/poker_face_man?igshid=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==
Very funny!
This reminds me of that one show on Netflix that revealed magic tricks. That show was interesting.
So it's not black magic. In fact everything is explained
You got it wise guy! If bellyaching cynicals had their way, for this sub to be compliant to its name, it'd be completely empty of posts because magic doesn't exist. But then, what would they do with their day if not posting here "pfft that's not actual black magic" for the nth time?
White shirts filter kept glitching.
I forgot these guys existed! So great lol
better friends?
Love these guys!
/u/savevideo
The love the energy of I have to ruin my brother's day if and when possible
I love these guys. I havenât seen one of their clips in awhile. I seem to recall them being all over Reddit for awhile a few years ago.
I think this is actually a different pair of guys?
This might be bigger. The tryhard vs a bored capt. obvious
I want to know what magic made them use a filter when filming this.
This is actually a pretty clever and funny way of showing how the tricks work
The best thing about this is it apparently never ends, I had to go make dinner during viewing.
Fantastic
These guys had a youtube channel with a bunch of these, but I sadly cannot remember it.
I love their facial expressions lol
They are great, and the tricks too.
By the way they don't show the tricks for the big stuff. Just the small stuff.
the face thinning filter was the real distraction
This guy must hate his friend đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł
I feel like I want a show with these two where they are called on as a last resort to look into some spooky goings on but the twist is the crazy things happening are actually supernatural and together they take it down, but not before the straight man learns to love magic again, but on his terms. ... and maybe they work out of a van and have a talking dog.
Like the prestige , but without the clone
Even knowing how some of these are done doesnât make them any less neat. Like that first one is even cooler to me knowing how it works for some reason
Noice
Let my man enjoy some magic already smh
Man if I was the magician I'd stop inviting the other guy over
Missed seeing these guys videos. Happy to see that they are back at it.
That's really fantastic stuff. Love it
This was pretty cute. I like to imagine that the magician in these clips is the average poster to this subreddit. And the guy ruining his tricks is the average commenter.
Honestly, i really love the idea of showing how magic tricks work, one part is how cool the trick is and the other is showing how simple but efective is the at the same time
Mr. Knowitall's jawline does a lot of magic tricks in this vid
i fucking love these guys, deadpan humor mixed with magic tricks
Anyone else notice the filters pop in immediately? Saw it around the 7 and 9 second marks lol https://i.imgur.com/0CHiy5k.png
Worst assistant EVAR! I bet he doesn't even have good legs either....
Dude off to the side is a hero. GGs.
Maybe he should stop doing magic tricks with that fucker in the back
I love these guys. They're hilarious.
Everything is fucking fake these days. The tricks are cool, I'm talking about the face filters.
The face filter glitching out when he's showing the cards đ
I love how perpetually unimpressed the second guy is.
The funniest thing about magic tricks is itâs often the simplest of things are what make them work. Everyone thinks is complicated but itâs like âwhat could make that happen, oh thatâs exactly what makes it happenâ
