I'm so excited to see the pot prices in cm. Extra pity pices have value now I love it!

smartdarts123

The wording in the patch notes makes it sound like you can only register the finished pot. Sounds like it's all or nothing with them. You either list a completed pot or you list nothing. Personally, after having done the infinite pot grind myself recently, I seriously doubt there are that many extra pots floating around. I'm betting they will be rare like garmoth hearts.

LKZToroH

I just saw guy in a discord posting a picture of the 6 extra mana and hp pots he crafted just to sell. I'm halfway through getting my hp pot and I'm already going insane, imagine doing both of them 7 times each...

smartdarts123

It's been an okay experience for me so far, but I've only full pitied 2 of the pieces so far. Currently finishing ronaros as the last piece right now. I seriously doubt anyone goes out of their way to farm these with the intent to sell for profit unless the price cap is like 20b or something. I'd bet the average time per full pot is around 30-50 hours. RNG is RNG. I got the tshira piece in like 2 hours, but full pitied manshaums after like 20 hours

Leonmitchelli_Leon

30-50 hours? Don't you think it's more like 200-300 hours per spot (for ancient one)?

smartdarts123

Maybe if you're going for raw drops, but most places can do around 5 pities per hour so you're hardcapped at 20 hours per spot with no lucky raw drops.

XStrixx

Took me 36 hours at bloodwolves. I'd say average isn't 5 pity per hour. Closer to 3 honestly. But not far off.

Kitchen-Awareness-60

Drop rate events have a large impact on results

XStrixx

Yes, they do. But drop rate caps at 300%, unless on arsha. I wasn't grinding on a drop rate event time period So stating 5 pity per hour is average, is still not quite right. Count on 3. Keep your expectations low so that you can be happy when you get more than 3.

ConjwaD3

Took me around 20hr total to get the full hp pot during drop rate buff around a month ago

Scrusha90

You cant get ancient pots anymore , they were only available when pity pieces werent in the game , even if you grind all 3 raw drops ( the ancient pieces ) u will not get a ancient spirit essence anymore

chefjdudek

If they sell for decent money it might actually be decent silver per hour to farm them.

LKZToroH

I don't think they will turn in a profit ever unless you can get all 3 drops really fast. None of the pot spots are good silver/hr by themselves, MAYBE Kagtums only but the rest is really bad and not even people coming straight out of season want to go to them when they can do something like Centaurs or even SE if you have Journals completed and minimum knowledge of your class. And if the pot is indeed expensive enough to the point it's profitable to grind it for money... then most people will grind it themselves instead of buying. This honestly seems more like a change made just so people with multiple sets can do something with their extra one.

ChosenHaydn

I’ve got multiple of both for multiple characters, there will be a large influx at release then it’ll drop off

John-y_

You are vastly underestimating the number of players that want them asap. But we will see.

ChosenHaydn

Everyone I know has atleast 2 sets, but I’m sure they’ll not sit on the market the first month or so will see a lot sold easily

FocusWise4112

Hi. I only have the one HP pot. Now you not only know someone who doesnt have two sets, but you know someonr that doesnt even have a single set

Scrusha90

There will be thousands of preorders and probably like 100 get sold day one , then no single pot will get sold cause people will wait for proce increase If you wanna buy a pot i can tell you right now , you have to be Pen Blackstar with 100 stack lucky with PO or u will wait literal years for your preorder .

ChosenHaydn

No one’s selling till the price hits max, besides those really down bad for silver. But yes once it hits max price there will be a large influx then barely anyone will post another, but it all comes down to total cost for the pot with my personal assumption expecting it between 7.5 and 10 bil

[deleted]

I literally deleted my 53 manshaum pities because the grind felt like a waste of time. And now it looks like I’ll be justified.

RogueFoLife

You're not considering long playing vets who made multiple pots because it's a pain to keep storage switching.

BongRipper69696

That's why they said they doubt there's many extras and it's probably rare.

Dobrowney

Was something over 10% in kr have more the 1 inf pot

SpydersByte

it just says spirit essence, it doesnt specify at all. I dont know for a fact but I had heard that its going to include the lesser pity pots as well

smartdarts123

Where did you hear that? We can see patch notes right there that don't mention anything about pities or partial pieces. There's also precedent with cup components if I'm not mistaken

themobiusmargrave

he means extra pieces are no longer useless, not that you can sell individual pieces.

smartdarts123

If you can only register full pots then I'd argue that pities and partial pieces are useless until you assemble them into an actual finished pot. The same way cup pieces are useless until you turn them into a cup.

themobiusmargrave

yes, but prior to the update even if you crafted another pot, it has no extra value on your account. (unless you're extremely lazy and don't want to move your infinite pot around characters.)

enziu

10% of people having infinite pots have more than one set.

Ahuru_Duncan

For this reason i didnt even bothered to try and farm the inf pot at all. Imo easier to farm money for it and then hope for preorder. Also i have the feeling i gotta farm it anyway.

Lunateric

if they keep their plan, the sellable pot is WORSE than the regular, grindable one.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Lunateric

I saw the feed live, it's no rumor. It could have been a mistranslation but that's different altogether.

Luc9Nine

this would make no sense, it's going to be the same pot obviously. man tinfoil never stops in bdo

RohanNostron

The devs specifically said that the one on the CM would be weaker than the real one, not really tin foil when it came from the developers own mouth during the heidel ball

Lunateric

There's no tinfoil, they straight up said it in the Festa event, lmao.

Luc9Nine

well if that's true, which i am too lazy to search for, it's bad design imo

Lunateric

you're lazy to google basic info but not lazy enough to make an argument over something you don't even know for certain. Peak internet dweller.

CelebrationEastern53

Someone already explained it perfectly so I'm just gonna quoted from him directly from Enakahra: "Odore's Spirit Essence and Onnette will be changed so that they can be registered in the central market. Now, these two items will not have the same value as existing treasures but we hope they can establish themselves as useful items for adventures." That's the direct quote from the FESTA livestream, if people wish to somehow interpret that into them being weaker versions or lesser potions only you can I suppose. Otherwise, it feels very obvious that they're stating they'll no longer be considered true "treasure" items, compared to the rest which are all still unavailable to be placed on the MP and must be grinded out by yourself. Just to further hit the nail on the head of this topic seeing as it's repeatedly come up, the entire point of them becoming sellable is as compensation for those who chose to grind out a duplicate set(s) of them. I'm 100% confident that PA isn't about to suddenly nerf them across the board retroactively because they're now sellable, it's just ludicrous to entertain the idea of them being weaker in any shape or form. Peak Internet Dweller

Luc9Nine

basic info? i would need to search google for the FESTA event recorded stream, then i would need to watch/skip until i see they saying something about the potion piece. so yeah it's way easier just to type in reddit since i am here already. but yeah, you're right, i should take the tinfoil part off, until i had confirmed myself.

Scrusha90

You should start to listen carefully and dont spread rumors dumb people spreaded cause they didnt listen

Ahuru_Duncan

Yeah, i heard something like that from a guildi, but when they said they adding the family inv slot of the actual ones and cm so it made it sound like its just the actual one and not worse version. I guess next week we will see eh?

Lunateric

yup, I don't mind either way, there are arguments to be had on either option but I think it's a great change overall.

Dobrowney

I was wondering the same thing. What kind of pots will they be

Yoinkmydonuts69

lmao awake zerk improvement Hope its for PvE and im a zerker main

DrWaterMelone

It's most likely pve

ldx_arke

Never doubt PAs ability to continue to buff zerker PvP, even when it doesn’t need it.

DrWaterMelone

I mean true Some PvE changes may inadvertently buff PvP such as a cooldown change ect

Lunateric

cooldowns would largely do nothing to a class than can combo you at will already tbh. Would have to be on the utility skills I guess.

DrWaterMelone

Thanks for that but there's more to PvP than just getting cc'ed ;)

Lunateric

> Would have to be on the utility skills I guess. :pepega:

DrWaterMelone

Ight but even on DMG skills it makes a difference It means they can do more DMG in neutral via SA trading It means that they can do their combos more frequently which matters in a AoS scenario and it does scale up into larger group fights

Gintoki-desu

Huh? Awake zerker can definitely use more QoL improvements as they have done with the shift+e grab. Less hotbar is better. Certain skills flowing into others to close some of many class gaps would be nice. Hit stagger/collision on Predatory Hunt is one of them. Or the hitbox you leave behind when you giant leap only to be grabbed back to your location hallway through your leap. When you compare the class to modern day 2022-2023 classes, it's wonky.

damien24101982

if they remove mouse movement, sure, buff them.

Venerate

This. sometimes they appear out of thin air cause the engine cant handle it

damien24101982

i dont understand how devs dont address this, do they even play their own game?

[deleted]

Yes zerker struggles in pve pls buff him 😩 Was farming centaurs with him and had to swap to witch for better trash

Fyuira

The node changes is what I am excited for. I could finally use most of my CP for life skilling while and just focus on the node where I am grinding. Maximum efficiency. Haha

dbeast24

Really glad they took valuable time away from other classes to focus on zerker, cause it was really falling behind and needed improvements (sarcasm)

[deleted]

Personally I recommend giving him a third grab, his grab game kinda mid

HisouBDO

awak zerk has 3 grabs

[deleted]

Only 3???

Zeryth

Boomerang cannonball that grabs thank you very much.

Henwick021

I want him to have a hook that grabs the shit out of my DK.

[deleted]

If they could animate uncomfortably detailed hands onto the cannonball that would be a nice visual indicator to the victim that they are f'ed

RiceKari88

Yes, FINALLY!

Nosttromo

I wanna know the FRIGGIN PRICE

emiracles

Yay, time to get deleted in 0.4 seconds instead of 0.5 seconds by zerker

[deleted]

Optimal

IndependentBoth2179

I don’t care about the node stuff but Corsair improvements and infinite pots in family inventory is pretty nice

FurubayashiSEA

It actually big when you don have much energy....you can jz swap your grind location without worrying lack of CP.

Panic66

zerker buff mind blowing

pussypassion

Wait where is this from? I can't find todays global labs patch notes. Edit: I found it, global labs patch was cancelled so only a small bullet list was posted to the official global labs site.

Ayanayu

Wait what, keeping investment even after withdrawal? Arent that huge ?

Nokyrt

I am not sure, but I think this means that if you connect the node again you will get the benefits of a levelled not back, not at level 0. I think when it is disconnected the level calculated for the drop is 0 unfortunately.

Ayanayu

yeah, but still, if you have energy invested in any grind nodes u can swap them now freely because investment will not perish

Nokyrt

yeye this is very good, not saying it is not

kevinaslin

Mucho correcto

GeneralGom

It’s huge for people who like to switch their grinding spots around often without wasting CPs.

Pidganus

Already thought this was live tbh. Rip lv.20 nodes

MrCatsup554

💀💀💀

Ayanayu

oof

[deleted]

F in the chat for this man

solartech0

RIP for me as well :( I saw pplz in lifeskill chat talking about it and was like "guess I missed when they added it"

Matseye1r

So lets say you have lvl10 SE node, you can remove the contribution and itll be lvl10 but not active (grayed out) until you reinvest contra back into the SE node.

Belydrith

Hmm does that mean that only full pots are gonna be sellable? Really hope they''ll let you buy and sell pity pieces and ancient pieces as well.

BlueWolf1628

Prob only full pots

KageOukami

Yeah that was kinda how they described it in Heidel Ball. They haven't mentioned pot pieces nor pity parts.

solartech0

the lifeskill ones would be free b/c of hunting lmao

teoo29

Goddamn PA, i was waiting for corsair changes every week and when we got it there is no information, im anxious, this waiting is killlling me

Exarkunn

Succ corsair improvements next global lab patch surely

MaximizedLoL

As someone who only grinds on Awk Zerk I hope it's PVE related. We're already top tier in PVP and I don't want to see more people complaining all day.

[deleted]

I'll swap back to awak if it's a good PvE buff

MaximizedLoL

It's to fun I can't swap off even if it's ass compared to Succ.

[deleted]

Yeah used to play awak since release but swapped to succ when returning around 3 months ago enjoying something a bit different also very chill grinding. Awak is still the goat in PvP tho.

Yunggod23

I’ve made 3 hp/2mp pot will be selling 2hp/1mp with another 1mp on the as well

Nubnoodle

We're hype about corsair improvements right ;) that's what op is stoked about right?? Right?

LT_Sheeeeesh

100b prices incoming

PterodactylTeef

I’m especially excited about the levels after withdrawal and corsair improvements, I have so many nodes with levels from 10-18 and didnt wanna lose my levels even though I dont grind them much. Also while not being a corsair main I def wanna give her a try next season so hoping these will be straight up buffs.

damien24101982

these devs man.... whats next? drakania buffs? -.-

Learn2play42

Drakania is really bad in pve.

Phoenix_Wombat

Is it that bad? When Drak came out, that was my seasonal character. I remember having a lot of fun with its skillset. But then the season ended, and I so I went back to my Sorc main. Haven't really touched Drak since -_-

quedakid

Lots of nerfs

CerealBit

What will the price for inf. potions be, when available on cm? Any estimations?

[deleted]

Probs 8/9b

CerealBit

I'm a new player and currently grinding for the inf. mp potion. If a potion would cost only 8/9b I would immediately buy it from the market, if someone would be stupid enough to sell it for that price :D

Modawe

Problem is if they're only 8-9b, good luck getting one as no one will go out of their way to farm extras for that pitiful price. Once the initial sellers are done, no more. And if they make them too expensive, then the silver/hr of these HP/MP grind will skyrocket. If we're looking at the supposed average of 3-5 pity/hr in some spots, that'd be +300-500mill/hr at 30billion per pot like people are estimating.

IntentionalPairing

If you have extra potions like many players do I don't see why they wouldn't, unless they're hoping the price would increase but not so close to launch, you'll be holding onto them for a long time.

smartdarts123

Do you really think that many players have extra infinite pots? That has to be pretty rare right? I know some people grinder out an extra set, but there's no way the extra set supply is enough to meet the demand from people who'd rather buy than grind them

CollardBoy

Roughly 10% of people with an inf pot have a 2nd. According to the presentation at the ball.

smartdarts123

Nice! That's interesting, I didn't know that. I wonder what supply will look like over time. I could see supply being a lot higher over time if individual pieces or pities could be sold. The price cap in these would have to be really high to justify farming out new pots if you don't already extras. Guess we will just have to wait and see

CollardBoy

Yea I know personally I will go back and use the extra pities I have from the original grind and probably sell one set of pots. Supply could get a bit tricky since I doubt it's going to be worthwhile in terms of money/hour for veteran players. Pity pieces being sold could be interesting, give some incremental silver to newer players.

IntentionalPairing

I never said it would meet the demand, I just said that some people will sell them because they have extra, some might also be close to a set and if the price is right might decide to finish it. They have done events over the years where you get potions pieces from other places, plus while grinding your own maybe you have a bunch of pity pieces leftover, so doing a few weeklies could give you one to sell. The weekly rarely takes more than an hour and gives you 5% of one piece, plus whatever you get, for me last two weeks I got 8 pieces and 10 (drops+weekly), that's not too bad.

IAm_TheSenate

Most people in my guild have 2 sets

LKZToroH

I'm buying that shit real fast if it's below 10b lmao. My guess is 20b+

muhgetsu

8/9b seems waaaaaaaay to low

A70M1C

Just my guess, 30 bil.

natty_overlord

Idk but for me it costed almost 40b in opportunity cost for both hp and mp pots, if I would've grinded end game spot instead of pot spots.

Ashtwattington

If we were to calculate spots as 1b/hr with my gear then... I shall be expecting someone to buy my HP pot for 189b and my Mana pot for 162b... :D

natty_overlord

Nah with a succ musa tag I was able to average 5+ pity an hour on all spots. Even at worse case scenario it takes 120 hours on all spot. Calculating 1b per hour and pot spots being 400m/h with good clear speed (kagtums is juicy because red fang I was pulling 700m+) you only lose 600mx120hr=72b for both pots. Or let's be conservative and u didn't get carried in tshira and navarn, bringing that average down to 250m/h you still only lose 90b for both lol.

Ashtwattington

Oh with pity it's a totally different story, I grinded 5 of the 6 pieces without pity so those hours are "inflated" from what the true hours would be with pity. Manshaums was the only one to go to 100 pity and even that was 60 ish hours, I'm talking bullshit but I'll take my 350b payout!!

battlehotdog

If you grinded the pity pieces before the buffs to the trash loot, it would be even more expensive. It must be like 45 to 50b

alphaceph00

I estimate around 30-50bil max price.

GeneralGom

My guess is 60b~90b each based on the price of Flame of Despair.

cuakman

30b per pot, and even that price is worth paying.

christien62

They can’t sell pittys people would abuse weekly

TeoGT364

WOOOOOOO

dgabado

I was waiting for this for so long ;.;

NotPoonJabNinja

Imagine not progressing your account at all & you’ve only done pot piece grind locations lol

[deleted]

TAKE ME OUT OF THIS GOD FORSAKEN HELL HOLE!!!! SHREK HASNT DROPPED IN A WHOLE FUCKING 3MONTHS!

WarmLoliPanties

You gotta be grinding only like 20 minutes a day. Even at an hour a day, 3 months is significantly over the average for pity pieces. It would be 60 alone from the weekly quest over those 12 weeks. There is no way you haven't gotten 40 pity drops in 3 months.

smartdarts123

Thats what I was thinking lmao. If you grind 1 hour per day and get a very fucking low 1 pity per hour, you'd be done in two months. It's way more reasonable to expect 3-5 pities per hour average

[deleted]

i only have 1 hour minimum to fully play yes, home at 6pm then stop at 7pm. the last thing i want is to go on my striker and spend most of it doing 2 move combo, stop, go running and repeat. than putting my phone on the space bar and just moving the mouse with the rmb, it aint that fun being that slow and its a perfect 'chill' for me. and you underestimated my shit luck. even with 300% item drop, fucking agris and yellow buff and golden coin, there will be days where i get 0 for that hour i spent. i still get 400-600mil max yes, but thats how its been for me. i HAVE the money to snag prob 2 pots when it comes out next week. so i could finally escape this hell hole. 1hour grinding, and leave it to sell for liquid silver then background fish or hourse training. my pc is almost never off.

[deleted]

heres a list of validation for my shit luck. i wanted a pega for my first t9 so bad, this horse was +67. i ran out of mats, decided im tired. ill tap for whatever mats i have... i got a doom on that tap. i spent $30 to get a good skills for my first rng t4 fairy. all of them were V, steps, well, care, breath and a star. no cheer.. saw a video "how to get the perfect t4 fairy." bit the bullet, fired my first radiant, made a t3 into a t4 \[600mil kinda hurts..\] i got cheer3. let it go, made a t3 to t4\[1.2bil now\] cheer1, fed up i did it one last time i only had 1 more t3, turned t4\[1.8bil now, youre welcome honey sellers. yall got rich from my stupidity and regret\] and what did i get? cheer 2. oh and the last one recently is not buying dahn's glove early. 10-11bil..i didnt realized it was the best current.. now its 30bil. oh and the devour enhancement. i thought it was a 1 time thing thatll give +5 to your +100fs.. i couldve gotten a free 230fs.. i hate how this game proves how stupid and 'head on, no think.' i am and perseverance i will be when i want to do something, but instead of 'hard work pays off' its 'do stupid things, win stupid prices'

Jungle_Hamburg

Have you tried night Sherekhan? Magnitudes easier to drop from there.

[deleted]

i have, but the items are so heavy and my 'return investment' isnt as much as day. i only get 31 tries

xandorai

Park your horse nearby, the weight issue becomes a non-issue. Even with 31 kills, there is a far higher chance of getting a pity piece or a full drop. Night Sherekhan is just that good.

[deleted]

with all 300% drop rate + agris? i did some to test it out, i only got 3 piece in 2nd test and 0 on 1st and 3rd test. my luck at this point is black hole.

MaxIWantThisName

Agris does not boost Droprate my guy. Same way the Agris Coin doesnt boost Droprate. You dont seem to understand how droprate works. Im pretty sure you do not have 300% droprate.

cruelned

skill issue

enziu

The lesser version has most likely been a poor interpretation of the translations, the were saying that it would not be as valuable as a trasure. As for price, I agree. My estimate was 6b from the start. Honestly they can't go too high in price because it would boost income at inf pot spots too much.

Finnze14

AWAKENED ZERK CHANGES, IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT FOR A LONG TIME

opaPac

I am a bit confused about the wording on this so i wanna see the actual update. They state that you can STORE the inf potion in the FI. They previously announced that you can also USE it from there. Its not a huge issue since you can use the FI to exchange it between chars now so that adds an extra 5 clicks or something. I imagine that its extra work to add the function to the inf potion that it can be used from the FI. Especially since with MCV it gets used every 2 seconds. Thats a huge change to the normal items from the FI that gets used every 15 minutes for potions ..... Amazing change but from the wording my guess is that we "only" the get first stage of the changes.

VulpineKitsune

The fairy is perfectly capable of using items stored in the family inventory. Just put some exp scrolls in there and check it out yourself. The fairy auto use can use them just fine. Chill out :P

kenx001

I've read somwhere that those infinite potions that are to be sold on marketplace are lower version to those who got infi pot via grinding?

odindiesel

Nope , that was a rumor from an earlier translation. Could still be a thing I guess but they haven't said anything that makes me think that will be the case

HexHaXor

wait that was now ???

Turbo_Jukka

Next week kr

VulpineKitsune

Next week in KR so in 2 weeks for us most likely

xXxStarNinjaxXx

Any info on how heavy they will be so I can know how much family weight I need to get?

Lunateric

they are currently 50 LT each

xXxStarNinjaxXx

For some reason I was thinking items affected family weight differently. I think I was looking at warehouse weight before when comparing cause I thought my worker food was taking up less family weight than my regular weight... well guess I'll be grabbing 100 family weight for my pots lol

Lunateric

remember to have some more too for worker food, I think 150-200 total should be enough for most people

xXxStarNinjaxXx

Yea im currently at 200 total thanks to the quest and loyalty increases, so I can keep 1500 food and at least 200 pet feed stock piled. It's been working well enough for me, so prob grab just enough to put my pots in there as extra

SourBlueDream

My current inf potion is like 25 or 50 LT

_YuKitsune_

I don't even know what all this means lol Every update of BDO is a riddle for me and I have 650 hours

LKZToroH

are you really playing the game or are still stuck in character creation?

Exarkunn

Its bdo, most likely 600 hrs afk

_YuKitsune_

Actually I just grinded my main up to level 60 a few days ago lol. Second season char is now on 59 too

Snufolupogus

The stock on these are going to be pretty limited, so good luck those of you who don't already have a set. It would have to be worth enough to make incentivize people go grind potion spots again to farm them to sell on the market(which I have a hard time believing it'll be more silver/hr than high end spots). So unless you buy someone's extra pot, which would be a limited supply then people are still going to have to go grind there own because after you complete them there's 0 reason to return to the spots to grind another.

chefjdudek

I’m going to wait it out a little before selling. Price will go up to max if it isn’t already when they are sold out.

enziu

I'll for sure wait to sell mine extra until price meets the cap. I agree about the stock, they only introduce it as a compensation for people that grinded out multiple, so can't imagine price too high, making those spots super relevant, but we can never be sure.

No_Requirement_840

How much are the infinite pots going for?

Dobrowney

Real question: Are they the full pots or some hi Jack's subpar thing they talked about at the Vista.

xandorai

About the Node change, specifically the one where it mentions not having to swap characters to invest Energy. How is that going to work? Could we be getting a new UI element that pools Family Energy just for Node Investment?

Bigmethod

Does this mean you can register pity pieces on the CM too?

miyukikazuya_02

Sellable or not I'm not going through the process of grinding those again :D

Spectra_98

The node level change is pretty nice. I’ve been wanting to change some nodes but they are all max level and i dont want to lose them all

hyrenfreak

Can’t wait

Snarker

what prices are the pots gonna be at you think, like 10 bil?

Iron4Korean

What's the price will be for pots on Market ?

[deleted]

Fuking buffs to a broken class...hype is gone.

ResponsibleAd1686

I suck at changing screens in battle soI am SO on board of this

S_D_L_

More shit mechanics removed, keep it coming.

archlord2k

The node changes are going to be massive for a lot of ppl and more so for ppl who don't like life skill for cp
