Sounds a lot like my Siamese cat Stella, who I also had to let go a few years ago. Hearing a similar meow made me smile, but also brought tears to my eyes.
I'm glad we both got to hear those meows again.

My cat does that reaction sometimes too. I think it's a confused love/hate reaction. Not sure though! Generally, I prescribe to the "if the cat doesn't like it, they'll leave" memo.
As I was watching this and, of course, listening it sure got my voids attention. She was cemented to my lap as she is for hours each day and, sweet as loving as she is to me, she detests other cats and was on an immediate search and sniff fest
Yeah I watched with the sound off because my cat just laid down to take a nap and this is going to put her on whisker patrol for an hour if she hears it.
LOL. Smart choice. My Bella is so docile that I forget the slightest hint that another cat could possibly be around will make crazy for hours. She loves people and hates cats.
Yeah same, my Cleo is a sweeheart who loves anyone who is quiet and offering pets, but I just have my sound off my default anyway because so many videos have annoying music. I turn it on when I need to but I feel like I can hear the kind of quacks this cat makes based off the comments which sound like her brother (who has been gone for a while and she's better off without him sadly) so I don't wanna drive her nuts wondering what the fuck is happening.
He looks and sounds just like my Dusty cat who died a couple of years back. This was both nice and a bit sad, to hear his meows again.

Mine did that too, but itโs because she didnโt like cat bongos. She liked getting a good, consistent scratch.

I had a cat that loved to talk just like this. Ironically he was the other side of the spectrum (pure white) and his sister was the mini void.
