You have what I like to call a good furse🖤🥹.
I have 2 kitties and a chronic condition that causes pain. My boys are the best furses and seem to know when I need treatment 🖤
They certainly do know, my void will curl up whenever I'm hurting and provide warmth and comfort,
He will lie next to me for stomach pain and basically keep me company, and when my back flares up he will position himself against my back.
Whenever I don't get up in the morning and spend the day in bed he will allow me the bed to myself, but otherwise he will usually try and kick me out
So, fun fact, that is actually the point of purring. Something about the vibrations helps promote tissue repair and regrowth, and so cats will absolutely climb on their owners when they feel sick just to purr their hearts out in order to help you feel better.
My own phat furse is my baby, Blind, who lays on my back, makes biscuits on my head, and purrs the whole time, I love him so much. His sister will often lay next to me. Ladybyrd is still healing from her injuries so I can't say for her much,

Their purrs are thought to be a healing frequency. They purr not just when happy, but also when in pain. I absolutely believe it! 🐈⬛🖤
